Thank goodness ! So basically I did my med school from India and preparing for USMLE but I did aesthetic course in new jersey and moved to California. Definitely want to open up my own med spa here in California n my husband is MD physician

I thought you can as non MD but a real physician must be head director. Thats the short I was told

this is probably late 😅 but yes! As long as you have a MD as a medical director:; however, I would research this based on where you live. As a FNP you can run the actual business and even some procedures

@@eshaabbas1358 yes, but you need a MD supervision bc PAs can’t practice independently. But most states now allow NPs to own a practice independently without MD present.
Can naturopathic doctors open a medispa is California?
Hi there ! Can a RDH with an esthetician’s license open a medspa? Will be able to delivery Botox or fillers? ( with proper course taken) or will I need a MD or NP to be there for me to delivery that. I need help, thank you ! Amazing videos !!!! 🙌🏼

You have to be at least Nurse Practitioner to perform any medical procedures. florida is the only state I know of that anyone can have a med spa but needs doctors licence which he will be your 10% partner
The answer to that is no. You definitely can't inject as a dental hygienist or practice any esthetic medicine without a nursing or medical license. Most states require that you have at least a nurse practitioner on Staff to open a med spa...
