The symbols actually represent joy (喜), fear (怒), sorrow (哀), and pleasure (樂) (based on the Stray Kids intro video and an understanding of the words' meanings). I really love this comeback.

I used to watch teddy til I found out how toxic & rude he is (especially to other artists & always trying to stir up fan wars)! A lot of STAYs would agree with me too.

M/V concept info dump:
Lee Know thinks of the monsters as kinda representing Stage Fright like you mentioned. So like the embodiment of Anxiety.
The whole video is about the war of emotions going on inside the children's minds. (SKZ themselves assumed the children represented them when they reacted to the video so that adds another layer in meaning there lol)
Like how you noticed you can see the 4 emotions over their heads through out the video in the Chinese characters (怒 anger, 喜 joy, 哀 sadness, and 樂 pleasure) and as each emotion is overcome they fade away with pleasure being the one that wins out in the end.
Each "version" of SKZ can be seen the same way: Mad Max style characters being pleasure since the whole play on words with rock star and the Chinese character being used, Clowns being chaotic/blissful joy, the white room being sadness, and maybe the pirates are anger? I believe since anger dissolved with bubbles like the pirates have. could have them mixed up somewhere though. hahah.
the symbols/characters for anger, joy and sadness disappeared, leaving the character meaning pleasure, the one pronounced as 'rock'
they're basically saying that through their music, lalalala in particular, all other emotions are meaningless and you can find pleasure and enjoyment in their music
It's also a chinese proverb referencing that exactly, there is a movie called the air I breathe which explains it all

Lalala is a great song to be introduced to K-Pop. It is not too far from the actual K-Pop genre but still displays the actual individuality of skz showing that the genre is more than pop.Great choice Vex and great guidance, you make me a proud stay ngl. For BTS it was "Love yourself" and "Be yourself"is really Skz motto, your friend is on point. Lmao I remember your old vid where you were reacting almost like your friend and now you can't stop moving while geeking about Skz, love that you are not afraid to show your interest as someone who is insulted as soon as I talk about the guys
Just as another point of view i interpreted the lalalalala part as like when people plug there ears and go lalalala when trying to block noise out. So for them it was block out the haters and the noise and lets just rock how we doin it without caring. ❤

The symbol that you said was disappearing represents the feeling of the children while performing and I think the meaning of those symbols are like Joy, anger, nervousness, and pleasure I think when Stray kids say 'just feel the rock. we let it rock' They were saying the children do not need to worry about those emotions that they are going to be fine and they should just enjoy themselves performing the song. Each scene in the video also represents different emotions like the scene where they wearing all white which represents the children being nervous and the scene with a bus that one represents anger. And it kind of shows that even if they have to go through those emotions it going to be fun in the end which was why the last scene was everyone from different scenes of emotion was dancing together. This was my opinion and some of the things i heard from Stray kids saying as well
