heat gun on the body shell.. if you dont want to cut for clearance heat it up slowly use something metal and round and slow flair the arches so the wheel sits under :)

@@mrmagoo.3678 works with hard bodys also. lots of old rc body you can melt to fit newer chassis, got a mitsubishi pajero nikko and a dodge ram 1999 1500 to fit on wpl c24. i use magnets to hold the bodys on and then Velcro the battery inside the body shell.

couldve lifted the body with washers???
2 years in the making, you'd think they'd catch that. Amain also had missing screws and had to trim the body on theirs...
of course i cant be certain but the camera resting on the back of the body probably didnt help

7:08 when running a rally car on the pavement you should stiffen up the shocks as you don't need the large suspension travel. When you go into rally, dirt, sand, gravel and pavement you'd need softer spring rates. I bet this would be a blast on a true rally course.....now if you only knew someone with some property!!!
So, I literally had one of these delivered today. CEN have sent with it a a rear bumper(part number CM0411) and it’s to support the body at the back and sort the problem of the shell catching and folding up. I have to fit it but CEN said on their second batch it will b fitted standard. 👍🏻

CEN were very well known back on 2000's . I still have my 1:10 CEN monster truck alive and bashing. They were stuck in time for a while, but this one is a good shot from them. You shold try their new F-450 one day mate ;-)

Wishing Ford had a Global nameplate they could use for rally - 'Puma' here is just a defunct shoe brand, and large cat nobody can recognize. Except here in Florida, somehow. This little car looks _the business,_ I hope it comes with different shells, maybe a recognizable one for us Colonials? Some sorta bro-dozer or jellybean SUV, I guess lol
Kinda disappointed honestly… with the teasers I thought oh a scale rally car with a roll cage and everything but no we get another average rc car lexan body with clips no interior no inner fenders etc etc etc I’m gonna start taking design classes so I can make my own rc cars…. I’m sure it’s great and everything but it’s nothing new and not very exciting 🤷♂️

I thought CEN Racing was outdated, that's what my local hobbyshop told me, but now when I see this, I need it. Always been a fan of CEN Racing, and now that car is out, i need to get one😍🙌🏻
Shops will tell different from what's on their shelves to sell you the products they have in stock
Iam a professionally certified Rc car technician my recommendation is to subscribe to few good youtube Rc car channels to stay current on new products and order on line from A Main hobbies. HORIZON HOBBIES OR OTHER ON LINECTHEY WONT GIVE. BS Advice

I know I‘m (as always) late to the party but first I do have to explain something:
I‘m 45 years old (or young 🥴) and I do want to get „back on the RC train“ again. I had, back in the days, two TAMIYA RC cars, one of them was a black kind of „Big Foot“, if I remember correctly it was all black with a few decals on it and the rims were red I believe. But don’t quote me on that, cause it was a long time ago… And then I had a TAMIYA buggy, but again, we are talking here 30 years plus!
Now, after watching a lot of videos, I do want to buy exactly THIS RC car for me. I know it‘s a bit on the pricier side but I think it‘s worth it. 👏
BUT can you explain to me what the difference is between the batteries? 2S or 3S? Obviously one difference is the power, but what 3S battery should I buy, are there any differences in the 3S batteries itself? Where can I ideally buy them online? (Btw: I do live in Germany!). Do I need special chargers for those 3S batteries? Do they come with different connectors? 🤷🏻♂️
Any help would be highly appreciated! 🙏

Unfortunately the thing was new out of the box , you shouldn't have to trim anything , that sucks to have to do that ... hopefully they will see your video and do something about that .( posted my comment before I saw that YOU did write them over at Cen racing ).. It is a real cool Rally Car though ... I like it ... Come on CEN Racing do something about it , Please ...... Great review Phil Thanks

1/10th being marketed as a 1/8. Honestly I dunno aftet 15 years of being a customer this is just typical CEN despite new owners. I'll likely avoid knowing those diffs won't take 4-6s.
It’s a 1/8… I put it next to a 1/10 to show the size difference 👍
Maybe Tamiya 1/10; but this is smaller than standard 1/8 Rally cars like the HPI WR8; and can't even take 4-6s! I was at least expecting something comparable to the HPI to be honest.
So as you have all 3 1/8 rally cars so what one is the best the hpi wr8 the cen or the carisma I only have the wr8 and I'm thinking it's still the best 1/8 rally car 🤔

How RC cars have changed. Back in the day, to get 45mph you had to be running a petrol engine.
which would you choose and why? XV02, LC racing PTG2r or Cen racing?
That body issue does suggest that it was not properly tested before release.......2 years and they didn't test their own design.....not good....would avoid

Just watched RCDriver video of CEN Racing rally car. And after the test run, he pointed out that body post flexing is causing the rear body tucking problem.
Yes I saw that, but also being very close to the rear tyres

Its a really nice car, and fast what I've seen. But the remote controll looks soooo cheap (the buttons, the shiny case) , like it's from Smith Toys for kids under 10years. The main reason, why I hesitate to by that car. And I'm sure it doesnt work with other RC Cars.

I love cenracing products. I have the hl mt and the 2wd mt wheelie machine. And they have not broke in anyway at 1 yr of bashing. One diwnside is the 2wd mt needs some kind of plating on its screws bc they rusted rite away. But thats minor. Plus their double pinion gear is great innovation.

I was watching a video on AmainHobbies and they had one issue of the motor mount screw being loose when they drove around harsh dirt areas but thankfully it was okay. Just wanted to point out to keep an eye on the motor mount screw.

I'm in love! BUT..... 1/8 scale and starting at 2S is a little weak. I'd rather see 3S to 4S capable more reasonable
i love the design. i just grabbed the Fiesta Traxxas rally a couple weeks ago. haven't ran it yet, but i am excited for it. for the price of this car, i would expect the QC to be better. that missing flathead is a disappointment. and the body design is also a bummer. they should have tested it better and trimmed the design up a hair so the end user doesnt risk an uneven trim. also the suspension seems to be too loose. i figure they will iron these minor issues out. really cool looking car. looks like it runs smooth, pretty quiet for the speeds imo
Just wanted to say, i'd much more prefer, RC company pay little ammount of money to multiple design students for a nice car shell design, than to pay loads of money for a car license to a car manufacturer or rally team and push those expense onto buyers. And i wish yt channels would endorse such approach.
In real car hobby, everyone always moans concept cars never end up on the road , despite how awesome the designs are, due to $ and limitations. RC car body shell has none of those.

I want to get my first RC car. Is there a kit that you can recommend? It must have everything included in the box and it must be a car that I can build. I would like either a car like the one in this video or a crawler.and I would like a 1:10 or a 1:12 scale. I have looked at so many websites, but I am getting lost in all the information. And as it is my first car i am unsure of what is what.

I've just bought myself a traxxas rally vxl vr46 and I love it😊😊
