First time watching and I loved hearing you say you used your credit cards while still doing the cash stuffing method. Thats my goal with my budgeting journey. Great video, new sub 💜
Good afternoon new listener here - I love the way you are doing your budgeting month to month. Question for you: did you have to get a month ahead before you could start successfully doing this?
Great question! I was already 1 month ahead when I started my channel. But I would love to share some good tips in a future video on how to get one month ahead on your bills 🫶🏼
Good afternoon Paychecks and Prayers. I hope you're doing great today and let's get to stuffing cash together. Happy Father's Day to your husband and enjoy your weekend 💋🙏🤍
Hi Paycheck and Prayers! I'm so happy to see you back posting! We missed you!! ❤ Just a friendly reminder to cancel the editing software you don't use anymore...lol 😂 If you're able to explain, what do the letters on the far left side on the tracker represent? If not, I understand. 🤍 I would love to see a video on your reasoning and experiences on leasing a vehicle. I think it could be beneficial! 🤗 I'm sure with Mr. Paychecks purchasing the safety beaker, it gives you peace of mind when he's out on the boat. ❤ Hope you're having a fantastic weekend!! 🤍🤍
Hi Toni! Thank you for your support, as always 🤍🫶🏼 I will cancel today! I’m working on some videos now and will take the opportunity to cancel that subscription. lol. As for the letters on the expense tracker on the left, those are just for my knowledge to know where the transaction was from. (D - debit account, CC - Capital One… etc.)
New Subbie here. Gotta say I'm new to the budgeting community and I'm obsessed. I've been binging on your content & you're inspiring. Keep up the good work. :D Blessings from Texas
You should color code/highlight your envelopes rather than the binder, so you can easily see which ones you need to add up. If you like your binders color coded, you should just change the color the binder (font or pen color) so they’re still easier to scroll to. If you use Goodnotes you can simply write them all in black, but use the lasso tool later to circle the text you want to change the color to, tap the selection, and change the color quickly so you don’t have to write or type it out in a different color at first. I hope that made sense, of course you don’t have to, I was doing it similar to how you are, but doing this was just something I found that made it easier to track the spending and make unstuffing go smoother and quicker. 🥰
If you have 1k in the bank ( car maintenance) and spent over 800 and left with 169. Why are trying to stuff cash money in your envelope, when you have the remaining amount in the bank. Just make a slip stating you have it in the bank …….Right…..confuse ????
Some people prefer the aesthetic of the whole prop amounts versus cash. I also wouldn’t want to just put in a slip of paper stating what I have. It would also complicate things down the line. It’s better to just have exact amounts.
If you’re referring to the $69… the $100 is representing what I will leave in the savings account for that category and the $69 is the change from “pulling out” $900.
I use my credit cards to gain miles and I pay myself back from my budgeted cash stuffing. It’s the way I enjoy budgeting instead of transferring funds from one place to the other. It allows me to visualize what I’m spending, not spending, over spending… etc.
I loved the chaotic un-stuffing. I'm glued to the screen for your videos

I believe you need to have your bills in order before you start cash stuffing for other expenses. Your bills should always be top priority 👍🏼

I don't understand this 😭😭😭 it seems unnecessarily complicated like why cash stuff if youre not gonna use the cash and just move things all around?
