How can you go into device manager when you screen keeps on switching on and off because whenever I try this it's impossible !
Try an other monitor and or hdmi cable if you have an hdmi monitor

Black screen can be caused by "SCREEN SAVER" turned on. Type in lower left white space bar.......
"screen saver" and select the option "None" to keep it from turning on with bubbles or the wording,
"WINDOWS 10" that spins horizontally. '' A very sharp friend of mine figured out my hours long dilemma
and saved my sanity!!!! Screen saver is no longer necessary with the disappearance of cathode ray tubes.

Hey did you find the solution? I'm having the same issue.
I have same issue i am running windows 10 on my dell latitude E5410. At least we know it is not a hardware issue more like a software issue. After some further research i found that the cause for this maybe due to a bad install. A clean install should fix the problem. I haven't tried it yet as I need to do a backup which i just haven't got round to doing just because is it long

This helped. Thanks a million. In my case issue was with power options.
Drivers are up to date and power settings are set to never sleep. 2nd monitor still goes black randomly. Not sure what else to do.

Mine while using my pc for about 30 minutes or an hour my display randomly turns off but the fans are still working and a few minutes after my computer will shut down completely do you think its the power supply?

You don't need to set your power plan to high power, it just creates heat to your Cpu. The best settings is balanced
what do you mean by blackscreen? like randomly shutdown the pc or only the monitor?

My monitor randomly goes off and then after 2 3 seconda its goes on again, if im playing game its still in game i can move and everything but it just goes off and than on, what should i do?
