I’m pretty new to HA so automating with.yaml is beyond me. This looks pretty helpful though, so may give it a try 👍🏻 thanks.
I’ve recently made my own roller blind motors mixing EverythinSmartHome’s components, such a ESP8266, motor driver and 5v motor and coding. Then a ThigyVerse file for the cogs and other bits to 3D print.
Works well and can be added to different roller blinds.

I look almost every video to get my blind to open at sunrise and close on sunset and your video is the only one with the better explanation. One question how can you open the blind to 50% only?

You need to call the service cover.set_cover_position and tell it a value of 50

Useful video - thanks. I’d love to find something which can tilt to close or open our Venetian blinds. It has two strings - one tilts one way, the other tilts the other.
