The way I grew up, I always felt like God was about condemning. That was what alot of the sermons were about. I started following JWLKRS worship and this podcast because this is how I feel God wants us to show love.

This is a good topic to speak about, in my opinion i think he doesnt but he does love obedience and when hes children obbey him it makes him feel happy. Just like our parents when we obbey them they give us more then we ask for. ❤
Absolutely, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom". Fear isn't meant as irrational fear, but the respectful understanding of our place as children to the Almighty Father that He is. We keep His commandments, follow his ways the best we can, and when we falter, we acknowledge our misteps and repent.

I ended up in so many mental health facilities and psychiatric facilities believing lies about myself and my life and God until one day I had enough and there was a Bible in the psychiatric unit room and I picked it up and it had a section for verses for different things you are going through in life when you're feeling alone or when you're feeling like you have suicidal thoughts or when you feel discouraged and I decided to hold onto those verses as if my life depending on it and Jesus became so real to me I had to choose everyday to believe and not look back. I agree with what kolby was saying I had heard those things but I had to decide to believe and it was a process. I still have that same Bible and read it all the time God has done a complete 360 with my life since then and I smile when I look at that Bible knowing God had it put there for a reason it saved my life
I live like the way Colby lived and I realeat to his story even if i didn't know everything about his story but I live in chaos everyday and I witnessed so much and I been through to
But now I am choosing to go to God and give my life to him.

Colby and Allie!!! OMW God really spoke to me through you. Like before I came on youtube to watch something I was having my quiet time with God and your video was the first one that popped up and what you guys were speaking about was literally what I was dealing with today and speaking about over myself and just telling God about how sometimes I feel like I say stuff to myself that I think God himself is telling me and then sometimes i disregard them and think "oh I am just speaking to myself thinking it is God." But the thing is if everything is based on the word of God then it is Him speaking to me even though I am saying it to myself out loud. You guys literally said what I was telling God when I was in my quiet time, when sometimes you do not feel as close to God or you do not believe the things that God says for yourself. We should know that God's love is not based on who we think we are, but it is based on who God says he is, and we were created in his image. His love was fully meant for us from the beginning when he created us. I love listening to the podcast and God is really using you, love from South Africa.

This exact topic is what I’ve really been struggling with recently. I’ve allowed the enemy to creep in with his lies that I’m unworthy, just dirty and unloveable and unqualified. And it’s gone into every part of my life, effecting how I think and act. So this podcast helped me so much and truly blessed me more than you can imagine! Thank you guys!! ❤❤❤
I feel y'all's strength is that you are NOT scholars or Biblical theologians! God Knew to get Gen Z to come to Jesus to listen to the Holy Spirit, he needed young relatable people to help Him in that effort. I've said this before...We don’t need a long set of credentials or an impressive resume with all the right skills to do what God has called us to do. Just keep doing what you a are doing... great Podcast!

Colby, I disagree. I believe you had a hard time (30:00 minute convo) because you were fully confronted from all sides, what you missed out on.
It is easier to keep living the life you were raised in, yes because you don't have to do the work to change and grow. Also because you don't have to grieve the loss of all those years of innocence and peace and joy and love and loyalty that you should have had. All the forgiving that needs to be done from the trauma and wrong doing, is a lot of pain and work.
Praise God you slept on the stage at church. He is doing so much work in you and through you.
