TWICE name's key meaning is "Once thru the ears, once thru the eyes" - which translates to them charming audiences Twice. 🥰

TWICE will charm u twice, once with their catchy music & once with their beautiful visuals & performance;
They have a big & diverse discography; Their music matured with them & it got a bit more global (due to them growing in popularity & being on demand globally) thought it's still have their unique charm & color; I would suggest their songs : Talk that talk , I cant stop me & their recent release Set me free if u want to do more reactions of them.
By the way if u are from the US, TWICE are so big there, they recently were the 1st girl group to sold out SOFI & Metlife stadiums in history & had a big US tour (they are still touring worldwide)

If you’re someone who pays attention to detail of the beats you’ll appreciate Twice. Although they follow somewhat of a formula with Melodies, most of their comebacks play with a lot of different sounds/techniques/genres. Something I love because you expect a new release to have the essence of twice but still have unexpected elements in the music.

Thanks for giving TWICE's music a chance, they have been in the industry for 8 years now and have escaped the dreaded K-Pop 7 year curse. For discography, it's best to listen to it in release order so you can see there growth thru the years. The Korean releases first, then you can listen to their Japanese tracks next. Then their B-sides to complete the journey. Their latest releases from 2019 onwards have their more mature tracks apart from their Japanese releases which are also fire, but you can start with these:

Followed Kpop since 2010, I've seen the greats of KPOP and STAYC, these girls have it all. Everything needed is there. They are the perfect group that's been put together. Seriously, the world needs more of STAYC GIRLS !!!
Thanks for reacting to Twice! (They’re my all-time favourite group, and I say that as someone who just discovered Kpop through them a few months ago and now I’m obsessed!) I’d say if you’re looking for a Kpop group who has unique music and isn’t super westernized, Twice is a wonderful choice. Even though they’ve recently found a lot of success touring the world (and have broken into the NA market) they’re kind of known as an anomaly for it because they don’t have the typical westernized radio-friendly music. They create music for their fan base (known as “Once”) and have found success and longevity through building this fan base!
I hope you give their music more of a listen as I’m so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed Alcohol Free. Their songs are generally not as chill as this song is, but once thing I can say is that they do an excellent job exploring genres and have a wide variety of music!
My suggestions:
- TT - this is one of their first/early songs and has a very unique Kpop flavour. I don’t think anyone could ever call this song westernized 😂 but it’s so fun and has a Halloween theme to the music video!
- Fancy - this is known as one of the most “Kpop” songs of all time because of its upbeat dance-ability and unique and almost overwhelming vibe- both musically and visually through the music video
- More & More - if you’re looking for unique, this song will definitely give you that. It’ll also give you a super fun rap section, dance break, insane visuals and a crazy beat.
- Talk that Talk - a pretty recent song (from last year) but this one definitely has a unique Kpop flavour but is still catchy, fun and feels like you’re going a million miles a minute with all the music and visuals being thrown at you
Those are my suggestions at least for now, based on what you seem to be looking for! I hope you react to Twice more. There’s definitely a good market for people who love watching the reactions, especially if you’re relatively consistent with them. I’ll definitely be checking back to see if you do any!

but they did a lot of music genre, like psychedelic in 'fancy you' EP. (don't worry about rate it kind of PG for me.) .other like jazz, disco, r&b spread in multi albums, they did even waltz(kind of) in 'last waltz' ('formula of love' album, this album is so good.)

I came across this reaction totally by accident I have never heard your reactions before but I think you enjoyed this M/V and I did enjoy watching you react. Twice is different and as you delve deeper into Kpop you'll figure that out. If you want to see them in full adult mode check out "Set me Free". FYI there fan base is called once and as you can see by my name I'm one of them. Be careful they have a way of pulling you in lol enjoy.

Alcohol Free is not representative of most of Twice's music. It has a soft sound with what I think of as Island vibes, and is one of my least favorite title tracks. Most of their music is more upbeat. I'd urge you to check out some of their many other M/V's. Regardless of genre, Twice is basically a happy pill. Their Japanese sub-unit released a mini ep and the m/v for "Do Not Touch" is fantastic - everybody that reacts seems to like it.
I noticed you mentioned clean lyrics. Most of their music over the past 8 years is very "PG-13" so to speak, and their general concept is described at cute and innocent. They have somewhat matured recently and Moonlight Sunrise is basically about a girl wanting to spend the night with her lover, but nothing overly trashy like it would be from an American group. Oh and Do Not Touch I mentioned above is about consent, so a positive message for young girls (and boys)
Appreciate the information. I might be in for a rough journey. I actually liked the vibe of this one, anything more westernized I don’t think would have received a positive review from me. Someone else mentioned they have tracks in japanese, but are they more aligned with J-pops alternative and indie rock nuances? Or….
@@counterreaction They have 4 Japanese albums, 4 Korean albums, and a ton of Korean mini-albums (e.p.'s). It's mostly all dance pop which I normally don't like but its high quality, upbeat, energetic, and just makes me happy. The b-sides have more range of styles but no m/v to react to. It's cool if it's just not your thing, but I've watched a lot of reactors and they get generally positive reviews.
