Hey Mary! Thank you so much for stopping by! Yes, it is certainly great when you can take your home with you. I really love your van. When we become empty nesters, that is the route we will take. Take care and safe travels!
Enjoyed the hunt. Finding exactly what you want is always a plus! I want to try tent camping. Outside of RVing, I have only Truck Camped and I enjoyed it so maybe one day I’ll get to try tent camping. Safe travels out there and congrats and much success to you all on the channel growth. 🙌🏾👍🏾
Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting! This was older footage (I was still shooting in portrait mode on my phone at the time) but I wanted to post the process that we went through to eventually buy our rig. I actually had tent camped all of my life but I could tell that after a few outings, my family was not really into it any more. We do still have our tent and depending on the occasion, we will pull it out (usually as extra space for guests; our rig is only 20 ft.). Tent camping is a different experience and you can go almost anywhere and set up but I am now spoiled using our rig. Safe travels to you all also (you all are an inspiration in helping us to grow our channel) !
@@MySUPRunnethOver Thank YOU very much! Sometimes, I am harder on myself than anyone. That is why it takes me so long sometimes to get things completed and posted (and we are still learning). Really appreciate the encouragement!
Thank you so much for stopping by and commenting. We love the E-Pro and until our girls outgrow it, we will probably have it for a long time. Safe Travels! P.S. We are new at this, and our channel is small. I am curious. How did you find our channel? Appreciate it!
Hey, thanks man! We really appreciate it. As far as comments, the YT algorithm is funny. Sometimes I will post a comment and it will disappear, although there was nothing offensive in it. One thing I have learned is to make a copy of my comments before I post so that if it is rejected, I can make some small tweaks to allow it to post. One time, it was something as simple as using an exclamation point. It can be frustrating, particularly when you write a long comment and it is rejected. Although this is older footage, we are trying to post videos until we can get caught up (I was still using portrait mode on my phone, for some footage, at the time). The newer videos should be better (I Hope). How is the purchase of your rig coming?
@Road_Trip_Warriors I'm still very indecisive right now.. lol.. sooo many options to choose from in my budget and Travel RV #Goals... I dont want to make a rushed decision, but your video definitely gave me a LOTTA insight.. the few questions I asked last night : How is towing your RV? And With an RV in thebl size and weight range yours is in, is Gas Mileage really a concern or make a substantial difference? Can't wait to see more videos Bro! Again, Enjoy!
@@djskillzz215 Yeah, there is a lot to know when looking for an RV. We tow with a Toyota Sienna Hybrid which has a tow capacity of 3,500 pounds. Our rig has a dry weight of 3,100 pounds and we tow with a weight distribution hitch (without it, we would not be able to tow this rig). It is 20 feet long. Our Sienna gets about 37 MPG not towing and towing, we get about 17 to 22 MPG, depending on weather and terrain. A lot of people that tow RVs, particularly larger ones, are happy if they can get 10 MPG. A lot depends on the size of the rig and the type of tow vehicle. What kind of tow vehicle do you have?
@Road_Trip_Warriors Ohhh wowww? That IS a significant drop in mileage efficiency... I drive a modified 2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV... my tow rating is in the 7K lb+ range... but i don't want or need anything near that weight... right now I'm really leaning towards a tear drop that has the rooftop tent on it... but again, there's still some nice ones I have my eye on as well.. I love a certain aestetic as well, so far I'm pricing Encore Venu 10KB, but I'm not sure if I'll like the sleeping area?, and I'm liking the smaller Forrest River NoBo 19.7 with roof too tent, and the Modern Buggy 12LRK... my wallet is telling me to get the 2025 Coachmen Catalina Series 7 134RKX LOL... and you seen my videos on those models and the Modern Buggy one... Little Guy Micro Max CT(cassette toilet model) is still in the race as well.. lol I have no issues using park facility restrooms or buying a porta potty for use with the tear drops
@@djskillzz215 Yeah, towing will certainly put a dent in you MPG. Your tow rating is double ours. You just need to select what will work for you. In our case, my wife hates using public bathrooms, unless necessary, so having complete facilities for that was a priority. If you do get a unit which requires you to set up a tent, awning or other temporary shelter, there will be times, particularly in inclement weather, where you would just want to go in your unit and not worry about it. A lot of rigs come with retractable awnings. Also, the ability to walk inside your unit could be another consideration. then again, it comes down to what works for you. Based on our circumstances, our rig checked all the boxes for us.

Yes! Travel gets more comfortable when you have your home away from home! Nice pick. Can't wait to see the Everglades!
