Sovereign Hill is located in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. It replicates the gold rush era and is set on the land which was a former gold mining site.
There are plenty of things to do during your visit including going underground into old mine shafts, watching live demonstrations of machinery being operated, making raspberry drops, watching blacksmiths and even a live gold pour!
Such a great day out and I hope you enjoy this review and travel vlog of our time there.

Came across your channel through a vid you did at Beechworth, thought it was great, decided to check out your other videos and started watching from your napal trip. Have been working my way back up through them and I love all the content you guys put out, all the places you go I have done alot of but there are many things extra you have shown that I didn't know about as well that I would love to go back and revisit. Just wanted to say I love the way you do the videos your sense of humour and they are shot beautifully and it is one of my favourite things to do as I and my whole family love the camping and beautiful Aussie bush and wildlife we are so lucky to have as well as the historical side of things to which I love to. Look forward to seeing more in the future and love the content 🙂👍

I know this is my opinion and some people won’t agree with me but you should stay overnight and watch the night show in winter
