And just to think. In one year from a comedy match against the Jackass Crew to one of the most exciting possibilities in WWE for WM this year. I don't watch WWE that much anymore, but I will watch the Rumble and I do hope that there will be some really nice controversy within the Bloodline.
When wrestlers get this organically hot… it’s special. The “ucey” movement is almost as big as the “yes” movement where the fans have spoken. This really should be Sami’s turn.

It's been 3 years since Adam Blampied joined Wrestle Talk & PFK, did the Board Games (No Rolls Barred) channel, and so much more. I'm happy for the guy and everything the PFK crew has done for us and enjoy Pro-Wrestling, even accepting the good, the bad & the ugly side of the business/sports entertainment.

The main reason I enjoy Adam's booking so much is because he always finds the best way to showcase as many wrestlers and their characters as possible.
Honestly, that's what the rumble used to do before it became cheap pops and nostalgia.

I love your booking videos, particularly Rumbles.
However, it would be great if Rumble videos would have some sort of tracker at the bottom, like the faces of the wrestlers that have entered the Rumble with them being greyed out when they are eliminated. It would be a very helpful visual aid, particularly for people who have to pause the video due to something coming up and resume it later on.

I love that Adam’s prediction did indeed age immediately as his booking began with the bloodline acknowledgment ceremony that did not happen. Still a fantastic fantasy Rumble and I nearly died laughing at the Finn riding Priest to the ring portion. Serves me right for listening to this in the car.

And then what? All anyone says about Sami is how great the moment will be, but that's bad booking. You have to have a plan going forward and apart from maybe am Owens feud any interest involves Roman, the real star to Sami's sidekick
Best outcome is Sami and Roman at elimination chamber in Canada, Sami will lose sorry not sorry, then you can have him and Roman work a program without the title after he costs him it at WrestleMania against either the rock or Cody
@@joekerr1607 Yeah, and the way you put Sami in Romans title path is with the rumble, not by booking him in a tag team with Kevin Owens.
@@joekerr1607 The Rock and Cody are narratively much less satisfying than Sami Reigns at Mania, Rock Reigns doesn't need a title and Cody needs an actual build other than show up and get handed opportunity. The best thing for Mania is to push the story actually happening on the product and reward long term booking. You can put Cody in the elimination chamber and have him fall short to begin building a 1 on 1 towards mitb or SummerSlam and make a much more compelling match

It's hard to imagine the ending being better than it was. Plus Adam got to use The Rock and Cena.
Whilst I think Sami winning is a great choice, and makes alot of sense storyline wise, I think El Generico coming back to life and winning the Royal Rumble could be really exciting

Cody won and while cool, it’s kinda meh cuz we all knew he was already in the match so there was no point of him being the 30th entrant

Nicely-done. Almost every entrant gets a memorable moment, key eliminations set up further matches, it tells two separate stories that get resolved in a head-on collision at the end, and the fan favorite gets the win. Color me impressed!

This was horrible. Why have Sami Zayn eliminate The Rock? Thats literally the only possibility of Sami Zayn getting boo'ed in the Rumble match.

I love the booking the only thing I disagree with is your Mania planning, story wise it makes a lot more sense for Night 1 to be Roman/Rock, Roman wins marking the highest point of his reign as both champion and undisputed head of the table, then on Night 2 it comes crashing down against Sami who wins the unified belts from him
adam's redemption arc on WT and PFK has been my favourite part of the last 3 years

I... Actually think WWE did it a tad better. My biggest gripes were too many tag teams plus Kofi botch the Kofi spot. But the Sami turn was so much better on wwes end.

I'm here from the post rumble to tell ya- You did it better. Your rumble actually tells a story. Real Rumble felt like it was just- building for Cody to come in and win.

As a person at the Rumble, the Men's match was so good, that it kinda burnt out the crowd for the rest of the night.
I wasn't against the booking of the actual match. But man the ending to Adam's booking made the hair on my arms stand up in anticipation. That would have been such good story telling
Although I loved how the Bloodline story played out IRL at the rumble, I agree that with Adam that Sami should've eliminated Cody to win.
This year's RR wasn't BAD, it was just slightly bland. There weren't many separate little stories going on, or memorable spots really (aside from Ricochet and LP), and the winner was predictable - which, could still work, but overall I felt it was a little underwhelming. Better than last year's though.
I truly think Cody has to win the Rumble. This is a much longer story than Sami and Sami's story is unbelievable. But Cody is the guy who was overlooked for Roman. Roman was always Vince's guy. Cody thought he should be Vince's guy but he was never good enough. Now he goes out to prove his worth start a competitor to Vince and then he comes back to win the one thing that alluded him. And to truly be the guy, he has to beat the guy who was picked over him and end the historic reign of Roman.

I have to say, Adam... This year you actually did NOT "do it better". You was off yo game tonight, uce. But to be fair, competition this time around is actually stiffer.
What I want to happen is the last 2 is Zayn and Cody. Roman comes out and yells at Sami to eliminate Cody. Zayn and Cody look at each other and eliminate themselves at the same time forcing Roman to defend a title on each night at WrestleMania
This would be so great, fully separate the titles to create more directions for the story! can end the Roman’s hood on both at the same Mania, or retain one, or even retain both via shenanigans and have it all blow over at summer slam!
I get more excited for this than I actually do for the rumble
Only thing I would change is having Roman/Rock on night 1. We need the visual of Roman with the two belts when he faces Zain. Roman beats Rock and gets some protection (having wrestled he might before) for when he loses clean to Zain.
There’s one upcoming event in particular I would love to see Adam Blampied tackle. How Adam would book the revival of Ring of Honor.

Sami Zayn should NOT win the rumble. He doesn’t have the look to be a main event level star and definitely not during wrestlemania season when you need to draw as many viewers as possible.

Horrible booking. Why would Sami Zayn just turn on Roman in the middle of the Rumble? If he would have won the Rumble it would have been better to have Roman turn on him at EC in Montreal for nuclear heat.
After actually watching the show, I’m sorry to say, but I actually do think that WWE booked Sami turning on the Bloodline better. God I love Triple H.

I know it seems improbable. But HHH is a very smart man, and I think he knows where this storyline has to go. Sami winning the Tag Belts with KO isn’t enough, he deserves to be World Champion. (And I would love if KO hugs him after winning and then immediately turns on him just like NXT…. Turning heel because of what should have been “his moment beat Roman” at the Rumble)

Watching these booking is always a double-edged sword. Highly entertaining video, and depressing knowing the actual rumble probably won't be as good.
