For anyone who had trouble with getting the villagers to spawn kids. Don’t have any blocks (or more beds) above their beds. Fill up their inventory with crops or bread (except wheat). Put more beds around. Also make sure the amount of beds is more than the amount of villagers. (EX if there’s 10 villagers already you need more than 10 beds if you want them to spawn more) will fix them not spawning.
For anyone having trouble getting this to work like I did: If your villagers start breeding and show heart particles but then stop with angry particles, that means they have enough food but cannot find a valid bed. They must be able to find a path to the bed and there must be at least 2 blocks of air above it. For some reason, if you put any block above the upper trapdoor (the one used to keep the adult villagers in and let the babies out), the villagers usually can't find a path to the bed for the purposes of breeding. I had a glass block above it and spent HOURS trying to figure out the issue (and even decompiled the Minecraft source code to double-check the wiki) before figuring out that block was the problem. If that doesn't fix it try breaking and replacing the beds or just adding more of them.
@@kokosonev6675 If you see the anger particles that means they can't find a valid bed. The only three possible reasons for that as far as I know are 1. they can't find a path to the bed, 2. there's not enough room above the bed, or 3. some other villager has already claimed that bed. Update: found out my trap door configuration was wrong. Previously none of the villagers seemed to notice the beds but once I fixed the configuartion the babies fell through. New problem: the babies jump a lot and get pushed into the whirlpool area before they've matured. Anyone found a fix for that? I've tried putting slabs and extending the water distance but they keep managing to get into the water/minecart area before it's time
hi, i recently built this on my world but the baby villagers doesnt stay below the water source. They float up and join their brothers and sisters up above near the minecart systems. Anyway to fix this?
Why can my villagers only produce a maximum of four baby villagers? They are all bound to the beds in my house (which is nearby). Since there are no more beds, they stopped producing villagers. How do you manage to produce so many villagers?
They used to breed endlessly with only 3 beds, recent updates have changed it so they actually link to the beds even though they cant reach them. It's actually not that bad a change because it allows you to limit your breeding instead of having the villagers start dying due to entity cramming. I has this happen once and had to manually block off the farm so they stopped breeding. Now you get as many villagers in your holding room as the number of beds you put in the bait room.
I can’t get the minecarts to grab a villager, even though I followed the exact steps. It just goes through and never grabs one. Edit: if anyone else has this issue, make sure the villagers stand on a bottom half slab. It’ll start working.
I made this exactly as is besides the button , I had to put it on the dispenser. Regardless , the baby villagers are falling down the hole and are able to get up the water beside the signs before fully grown ,phasing through the map above and get stuck on the outside of the glass any solutions?

@@tateharding1000 yes, you MUST make your farm 150+ blocks away from the village. this is because the villagers breed to their original beds, but it will be cancelled out at far distance and allow them to assign to the correct beds
Doesn’t work for me. The baby villagers can reach the beds and when they do fall in, they don’t stay in that little space to grow up, they just jump up
built everything exactly as the video says and it doesnt work for me the 2 villagers just go to the trap doors and just keep walking into it like they are trying to go to the beds.
I made this and it has made 1 baby villager but the baby seems to have claimed the bed. So idk if that will affect spawn rates or if any more will spawn at all? It isn’t able to get to the bed. It’s in the holding chamber, but when I replace the bed and put them all down they all sparkle green. Any ideas? I’m on bedrock
This doesnt really make sense to me or either work, i recreated everything you did but the thing is if i put 2 adult villagers on the little farm segment how are they supposted to get to the beds to breed if theres a trapdoor ( 1:36 ) that only lets the baby villagers go through? maybe im just stupid or i built it wrong but either way i bulit it the way its on the video

Wanna ask that why the machine work for sometimes and after I got some villagers away the chunk, it dun work. The farmer share their food to each other but end up with some grey and orange signs which mean they dun gonna have a baby
This tutorial only works on Java, not Bedrock. If you are on Java, then at night do the adults in the farm stand near where the trap doors are? If not, then they don't know the beds are there. Make sure you have the three trap doors set up exactly like in the video. You should have two villages in the farm and three beds. The two adult villagers will claim two of the beds (even though the trap doors prevent them from getting to them) so you need a third bed for the child.
I made the baby are spawning and its all good but the problem is that the babys are not going to the beds and not falling to the water what can i do ? ( Im on bedrock btw )
I think there’s something wrong with bedrock because every time their child dies they have a new one, but if their child is alive, then they just won’t make a new one until it dies
I don't think so. Try breaking any work stations in your base first, then place the workstations in the farm so they connect to those, then you should be able to replace any workstations you broke in your base,
wont the villagers suffocate when u are trying to get them out with the minecart? also dont u need to have more bends in order for more villagers to breed?

The babies aren’t going through to the water, they just run around in the farm until they grow up
rewatch the tutorial again then
The babies zoom around the farm like tiny crackheads but refuse to go in the water and end up growing up in the farm area. Anyone else run into this?
Update: found out my trap door configuration was wrong. Previously none of the villagers seemed to notice the beds but once I fixed the configuartion the babies fell through. New problem: the babies jump a lot and get pushed into the whirlpool area before they've matured. Anyone found a fix for that? I've tried putting slabs and extending the water distance but they keep managing to get into the water/minecart area before it's time
use ladders instead of trapdoors on the bottom part
hi, i recently built this on my world but the baby villagers doesnt stay below the water source. They float up and join their brothers and sisters up above near the minecart systems. Anyway to fix this?
Why can my villagers only produce a maximum of four baby villagers? They are all bound to the beds in my house (which is nearby). Since there are no more beds, they stopped producing villagers. How do you manage to produce so many villagers?
place more beds, for each bed you can have another villager
They used to breed endlessly with only 3 beds, recent updates have changed it so they actually link to the beds even though they cant reach them. It's actually not that bad a change because it allows you to limit your breeding instead of having the villagers start dying due to entity cramming. I has this happen once and had to manually block off the farm so they stopped breeding.
Now you get as many villagers in your holding room as the number of beds you put in the bait room.
@@brassman7599 Oh, I see. Thank you!
My villagers can reach their bed from the farm area, and the babies literally teleport through the ground to the bed. Any ideas how to fix?
I saw it!

Thanks for the video, a really good farm
did u add a roof?
No particles no nothing 2 hours of just looking at eachother
Its working but when 1 villager baby is born there are not producing more why?
@@hinanvk6217 more bed
more bed
You need to remove the villager from the farm, if not the just add beds
op villager breeder it produced 2 villagers everyday for me which really helped with my villager situation
does it matter if one villager is a farmer and one has a completly random job
Mine is not working..like 5days in minecraft and alot of potato and carrot i dropped but its not working
Don't give them potatoes and carrots. Choose one and it will work much better
If your villager doesn't get on the mine cart, switch the block they'll be standing on to a slab.
i cant wait to build a VILLAGE with this
Haha good luck!
Bro ur like the only other person ive seen do it
wondering if other crops such as wheat or potatoes will work
I can’t get the minecarts to grab a villager, even though I followed the exact steps. It just goes through and never grabs one.
Edit: if anyone else has this issue, make sure the villagers stand on a bottom half slab. It’ll start working.
Ru close to the village or far away
i tried that and it still doesn't work
@@dragonhunter3475 make sure is powered rails
I made this exactly as is besides the button , I had to put it on the dispenser. Regardless , the baby villagers are falling down the hole and are able to get up the water beside the signs before fully grown ,phasing through the map above and get stuck on the outside of the glass any solutions?
Realms Xbox btw
when i built it it doesnt pick up villager through the blocks under where the water ends any help?
nvm i didnt slant the powered rail at dipesnor greeat video thanks
did u add a roof?
Idk what people are talking about this works great, thanks mate!
WHY my villagrres do love and then they are angry ???
Likely they can't find a valid path to a bed.
@@UltimateLoaf there is no bed for them in the toutirial

Do they just automatically breed cuz of the carrots or do u still have to feed them?
bruh i added a roof and they stopped breeding wth
Thats beacouse they need a 3 block tall roof (I assume you made a 2 block tall)

That tip at the end to bring villagers by putting n breaking composter is neat
glad it could help you out!
re-created this in my hardcore world. They are breeding but no baby villagers spawn after they're done.
its the exact same build
I have the same problem!?
can someone help us?
drop some bread or crops around the villagers, they should pick it up. also, make sure there are more beds than villagers. this should fix it
@@thebradyallenbuncharchives7012 did all of that, didn't work. I had to find a new village with different villagers
but for me is the small villager does not go to the bed and drop down, even tho i push them down it still able to connect to one bed which make the 2 adult villager not having any child "/ it bedrock version for my game
This doesnt work on bedrock 1.21. The babies will just run around and refuse to go to the beds then grow up in the farming area.
@@NickNackNick4713 does anyone know a fix?
@@tateharding1000 yes, you MUST make your farm 150+ blocks away from the village. this is because the villagers breed to their original beds, but it will be cancelled out at far distance and allow them to assign to the correct beds
Or u can just break all beds in the village if u plan on making a trading hall with all of ur villagers u breed
They get hearts then get mad and i replaced beds, added, beds and put it on peaceful to see if it was mobs but nothing worked. What do I do?

I made this and it has made 1 baby villager but the baby seems to have claimed the bed. So idk if that will affect spawn rates or if any more will spawn at all? It isn’t able to get to the bed. It’s in the holding chamber, but when I replace the bed and put them all down they all sparkle green. Any ideas? I’m on bedrock
Baby Villagers grow up in the farm area and do not make it to transport stage. No blocks above trapdoor, surrounded by glass. What is going on?
This doesnt really make sense to me or either work, i recreated everything you did but the thing is if i put 2 adult villagers on the little farm segment how are they supposted to get to the beds to breed if theres a trapdoor ( 1:36 ) that only lets the baby villagers go through? maybe im just stupid or i built it wrong but either way i bulit it the way its on the video
@@xwmvnq You have to let them sleep for one night. After that, they should breed just fine
@ Thanks
Do you need to place 1 bed for every 1 villager that comes from the breeder?
no u need to place 2 for every villager that comes out
I don't know what I did wrong, i put 2 villagers in the breeding station but only 1 of them become a farmer . the other one remains normal so they won't breed . if someone can help me it would be appreciated
Thanks so much for this tutorial! You don't know how much u saved me! Also great tutorial, great to keep up with and understanding!
Keep up the great work! ❤
You're very welcome!
( Im on bedrock btw )
im having the same issue i dont think this particular farm works on bedrock
I think there’s something wrong with bedrock because every time their child dies they have a new one, but if their child is alive, then they just won’t make a new one until it dies
Add more beds
@ ahh
Does it have to be a jobless villager and farmer or can the other villager have a profession?
only needs 1 farmer but pretty sure better rates with 2 you can use any villager
can we use the guy w the green coat or no? bc everytime i try use another villager they just take a job in my house or something
I don't think so. Try breaking any work stations in your base first, then place the workstations in the farm so they connect to those, then you should be able to replace any workstations you broke in your base,
The green guy is a nitwit, he cannot take any job. The best place to put him is in an iron farm...or banish him from the village.
wont the villagers suffocate when u are trying to get them out with the minecart? also dont u need to have more bends in order for more villagers to breed?
When the baby villager falls down the hole and flows over to the other side they just jump up into the water and go to the corner
Farm overall worked great and was efficient but uhh... I had a problem where my grown up (ready for lifetime slavery) villagers started breeding in the waterless corner. But it wasn't a problem for me since i didnt need one at the moment. thanks for the clear tutorial!
worked in the first 5 minutes. thank you~

Hey i had a question for somereason the villager doesnt wanna go into the minecart for me would you know the issue?
Try replacing that block in the corner that the villagers are standing on with a top half half slab
The villagers in the farm aren't taking the job, they are just beelining to the trapdoor (to the beds) how do I fix this?
So I’m getting the villagers to spawn the kids, but they’re not going after the beds, they’re stuck by the blocks and the trap door
Set up the farm on my HC world for some reason neither villager is picking up the farmer job one’s a nitwit and the other is still a cartographer does this matter
