A few things that will probably help,
-you only have to click harvestedables once and your horse will do it till completion or stopped
-You buy things in town (lassos are there)
-your horses have stats you level up to make your journey easier (harvesting, jump, speed)
-food speeds up breeding
-you equip things from your inventory
-the building system will be getting an update in the future to have more functionality rn it's just to build a house or whatever else you think of
-when you equip food and hit c to crouch you can food tame
-the game has species not breeds because there will be primarily fantasy based horses
-different lassos are for different species
-market realm is going to have more updates for trading, stud system, and market stalls to go with the auction system already in place
-there's an action ring to call your horses over or tell them to stay and you can go into wild mode
-minimap is planned
-journal unlocks the other species
There is a boss horse, you give up a horse to participate and you can win amazing prizes
-theres a contest to try and breed a horse as close to the contest horse and you can also win rare prizes
Also, the discord has lots of information on current and future updates, but there is a help and update debrief sign in spawn if you dont want to be in the discord
Most of these are alr in the game like alot of them
@tbhitscara yes but I was explaining it since as a new player who wasn't around for the alpha and beta testing it can be extremely confusing going in blind due to a lot of the information being on the discord more so than in game. I never said that all of this was planned updates, only a few things she might want to look forward to

Hello, just to point a few things out:
1. Buying lassos:
you'll have to go to the little town area and you either have to go into a shop or a market button will pop up.
(I know you found it already but just to put it out there)
2. Harvesting logs/ stones/ bushes ect:
your horses strength will increase if you keep harvesting which means that overtime harvesting will go a lot faster. You can also equip more horses once you upgrade the stable slots which will make harvesting even faster!
3. Auction:
There is also an auction where you can sell and buy horses (you'll have to be SUPER patient for the waiting time though😬 depends on how busy the server is) you can unlock this feature after you've done all the quests in the journal (it's a bit grindy but it's so worth it)
4. Earning money:
it's simple, just catch horses and sell them. It's a really fun thing to do as the game is so pretty and fun to play.
5. Breeding:
You can harvest bushes and feed the pregnant mare to speed up the time. It's free and easy to do.
These are some simple things but I'm new myself with this game so it's all that i can share.

I love this game, but the new boss update needs work. They are ambitious with adding reused content from their other games.. which kinda worries me. As long as they adapt it smartly, it wouldn't be a problem.. but so far they are basically copy pasting and it kinda feels a bit icky...
I lost all my horses but 3 and the 3 I have are infertile I use to like the game but it is bad now
@@animal_person That was beta/alpha. The game always stated in the front "ALL DATA WILL BE WIPED WHEN FULL RELEASE" The game fully released, you lost your stuff, everyone who played before release, lost their stuff. *It said on the game's front page it will happen.* Although, yes, they did bury it under a lot of other stuff, it was there.
The keeping 3 horses was a surprise they decided to do. Making them infertile was because they are old coded horses, and making them breedable with the new coded horses would break stuff. At least, that's what they say. I think it's because they don't want people's long used genetics to be easily breeded into new horses now and they want release game to have playability still for even beta/alpha players.. if you ask me..
@@animal_personthey warned you that it would happen, you should have read it if you were going to be upset by something such as an serious update that was the full release, you cannot say a game is bad when you didn’t take a minute or two to read the short summaries they gave in the update logs, plus they did that because the beta/alpha horses would cause glitches from being bred and that’s why everyone’s horses of choice was made infertile to let you keep ur favorites but to not breed them, they are basically legacy horses and are one of a kind because they are OLD models not new models. You quite the game for such a childish reason, if you were so “happy” with it before you should have had the dedication to start from scratch and see if you could do something better than you did before, you obviously didn’t like the game and wanted a reason to dislike it because they didn’t appease to what you thought it should be, at least they let you have 3! Of your favorites.
@potato9709 k well I can have my opinion and I just don't really like it that they put it down so far bc I looked and it is almost all the way at the end the should put it up at the top if it is a major update like the data wipe. I also think they should have let you keep more of your horses and choose 2 to be fertile but only to each other. I had 1 bisorse that was a very cool color that i was waiting to breed and now I can't! That is really stupid

Horse life is a fantasy like horse game. It’s not gonna be just horses. There are stone, horses unicorns, and they’re gonna add kelpies at some point a seahorse that you have to fish for as far as I’ve seen on Discord.
Sorry I should have given more details as there is a glitch for the tutorials. You can feed the mare food for faster breeding gestation is is how soon you can breed again. Harvest bushes or apple barrels in the main area. You can upgrade your horse by doing certain things when you go to stables to “skills” you can see what you can do especially for the higher breeds you will need to upgrade skills. The boson are very stubborn and aggressive so if you try to catch those I recommend lassos. And you can go to the main area where the horses are sold there is a shop in the top where you can buy everything you need.

you can also get food and feed it to horses easier to earn money :D also you can combine different eye color, colors and traits on all horses
Hi Lady! Glad you're getting into Horse Life. While it's not nearly as easy to understand as WHI, it is still pretty fun. At spawn there is a "Help" circle next to the loyalty rewards. In that, there is a basic explanation of how to play. Good luck and have fun!!
You dont need lassos to tame! There are apple barrrles around the mao that are easy to hit and its free u can use those apples to tame with there are food and lasso tames and the shop is in town where u can get cool gear

I searched it up, To make lassos you go to the market place im pretty sure. And if you dont have lassos you can get food for it to tame the type of horses! pls keep playing this game plsss :)

My personal opinion on Horse life:
I recently tried it and it’s a good game! Better horse options and different types of horses but… the quests need works because they have horrible quest options and they don’t even have a map to know where you are going! They also have horrible storages because you have to keep upgrading it with certain quests But overall it’s a nice game

IF U WANT THEM tips below
TIPS :
Catching horses and selling them is the best way for money.
Breeding is FREE and you can speed it along with different food.
You can harvest things with the babies to grow them up
Also you can catch horses with crouching (C) and apples :)

I actually prefer this over WHI it's a fun grind
Oh and also there's a giant ghost horse that spawns every hour and to battle it u need to donate a horse to the totem that spawns but beware it's quite hard to catch
Hi thought you might want some help on the game
So where you first spawned there's a shop icon at the top of your screen and you click that and you can get lassos and other stuff too.
And for food taming you can get them by kicking down bushes that glows or you can kick down a barrel of apples ( best food to get a horse/species.
Also you have to unlock the journal to be able to catch other horse species.
Also new horse species coming out on the 28th of June if you want to see that,
they also got there own discord the link should be in the group or at the bottom of the page of the game.
This game is amazing and i hope you love it and do more of this!
Hi lady!, so basically on how you get lassos is where you start right?, there is a "Shop" button on the top of your screen click that then go to gears. Going to gears leads you to lassos, I recommend woven lassos
Also lady!, you only need to click once for the bushes,wood,stone, etc etc!. No need on clicking multiple. BTW. It was funny when Kiwi ran away 😂
Look at the target species for the lassos in the shop. You can unequip kiwi.

this game made me RAG since it would always make big updates, one being you remove your whole inventory when id had been playing for months !! but overall its a good game it just made me quite annoyed when it updated.
The dev said this would be the case when they made the game and warned people over 3 times that they would reset all of players horses but the three of the players choice and make them infertile, you made that decision to go with their rules when you played the game in early access/beta before its full release. The reason they did that was to avoid having glitches in the game because of beta horses not being up to date meaning the game would have went down hill very fast and no one would want to play a laggy/glitched horse game.

I love this game ! Theres just so much more to do than wild horse islands and everything is much more attainable, still like whi but this game looks so much more promising and the bosses are so much fun .
My only criticism so far is that the quests and what to do in the game isnt easily layed out to understand and before i starting playing on full release i watched youtube videos of beta and alpha players so i understood.
Also for people saying its not new content going around catching wild horses neither is any other horse catching game 😌 it not a new concept 😅
But everyone should definitely give it a go so much fun and in the discord the game creators actively take fan suggestions and feedback

No its not better than WHI 🤷♀️ its new so its over hyped. I played for 30 minutes and quit. People like the fantasy creatures only and thats why it shouldn't even be considered a horse game.
Play it for a bit longer please. I am a long time lover of WHI and while i agree it is infinitely better, I do think that Horse Life is decent.
@@Airstream14 nah I was there for the beta and played 30 minutes after the full release to see if anything changed. It's all the same I'm good 🤷♀️
I also enjoy WHI but i like the both and find this as a nice breath of fresh air and i would like to see how the ame progresses.
