I had to top off paid vis to finish rikku pulls as well. I ended up getting rikku 1 before pity, so took a flyer at perrene on the 1k paid. Nothing, but ended up getting the lvl99 perrene on the following free pull on the paid banner. lol. I got rewarded for doing a stupid pull.
