@@tomburns5341 yeah pretty much always been that way. I don’t bin the tyres though, they do my trackdays / test days. Everybody is different though, the slower you ride the less you work the tyre and of course it lasts longer. Lowered powered bikes (twins and cb’s) are much cheaper to run due as they are kinder to the tyres (rear)

How many sets of tyres would you use for a weekends racing?
Usually I use 1 front and 2 rears.
New tyres for qualli and carry them into race 1. Then a new rear for race 2 and use that for race 3 as well.

Shame you couldn't get more practice time or I reckon you would of killed it.
Yeah more practice would have definately have helped! oh well, always next year :D
