Sorry for the rushed nature of this video, I'm currently working on 3 longer videos as well as some quality-of-life changes for the channel including proper animation. I also didn't include an outro, so I'll put it here instead, Thanks for watching and have a great day! -Mr. G
Man, You did exceptionaly well on pronounciation, kudos to You! Also, fun fact: most of AK resistance fighters' aliases were simply other common birth names used to confuse Germans and it is so funny to hear about all those John aka "Steve" Smiths and Tom the "Bob" Whites :)
In addition to the Cobi set shown at 7:20; for scale model builders, Mirage Hobby from Poland has a very good, (and very affordable,) 1/35th scale model available of this unique, but historically significant vehicle. This is a traditional, injection-molded styrene kit - not resin or 3D printed. Your video is excellent inspiration for anyone with this kit in their unbuilt stash! Thanks for doing the research and posting this for us! 321st Like.
one thin Kubus is diminutive from polish name Kuba/Jakub which is Jacob, winnie the pooh in polish translation is Kubus Puchatek. thank you for this video i've learned more from this than in musem.
I'm glad you actually did your research on how to pronounce the Polish names in the video, instead of pronouncing them wrong 3 times in a row before saying "Uh oh, sorry I'm gonna have to pronounce this wrong! Sowwy" like most youtubers
3:13 Correction. As seen in photos later in the video Kubuś has no rear hatch. It can only be accessed or exited via hatches in the bottom of the vehicle. The top one was for the gunner of DP-27 or PIAT. Hence the front shield.
you are small youtuber. i will watch your career closely. for when eventually you make it to a 1000 subscribers. you would know i was subscriber 652 and when you make it to 10000 subscribers you would remember me as subscriber 652. and when in a few years u take a glimpse at your comment section you would remember subscriber 652
Lovely names, even more funny were names given to two captured panthers while Warsaw Uprising: Pudel (poodle dog ) and Felek (if you give some animal Felek usually it is some countryside dog xD )
0:14 primary underground army; it was part of the underground state, which had a civillian element, and was subject govt in exile German occupation, Nazi German occupation
Funnily enough, Kubus is Indonesian word for cube, not really different from the shape nature of this vehicle lol Btw, this is a great video coming from a small channel like you
Blaming the Nazis is fair, but the Home Army would have had a much greater chance of success, if Stalin & the Soviets had not stopped his troops miles outside the city to “regroup” and supported them.
The reason that the Red Army didn't intervene in the Warsaw Uprising was because they believed the home Army was still loyal to the government in exile of the second polish republic rather than the pro Soviet polish government and so allowed the Germans to quell the uprising.

Fun fact: The Cobi set shown at the end is almost a decade old. But few weeks ago Cobi released a new Kubuś set (its alot better)
Your Polish pronunciation is actually quite good.
And the video as a whole was great!
it was bad. the video rules tho.
"Armija krajowa" 🗣️🔥🔥
"Kubusz" 🗣️🔥🔥
Say what you want. His pronounciation is still decent for a foreigner!
@@igusgodwin3939 that's right. But its still funny
