My God, I know exactly what you are saying about negative thoughts. I've been experiencing that lately to a point of me not praying and being emotional about things that have happened in my life but I know I that I will conquer no matter what as long as I give everything to God. And when I feel that I'm overwhelmed by them I just pray in other tongues in spirit praying to God and connecting to the throne of grace cause that is where I find strength and victory

Sister Mumbi: you're God's greatest gift to me at a time when its so hard sometimes to pray because am a grandmother who has suffered demonic oppression throughout my adult life. Lately I have felt unable to pray & joined Esther Fast just ending to break this heaviness but I just felt blank. Last night as U resigned myself & went to bed at 9pm, I experienced axactly how you explain. I purposed at around midnight not to just keep my mouth shut in defeat. I started singing softly songs of praise and worship & my strength started slowly increasing till I was confidently singing aloud. I then felt myself expressing gratitude for so much the Lord has done & given me & that led me to surrender, then I sought the Lords forgiveness for my failures that have separated me from His grace. Yes, I felt the Lords presence as He lifted that heaviness from me & it was then a sweet that a communion with Him enveloped me. I haven't been 10o% accurate with the Esther Fast though I've been doing partial fast so the enemy was busy condemning me. So I was now able to counterl that with Rom.8 v1, "... there's now no condemnation to those who are in Christ...." praise God! I slept, then dreamt being in my village and my dead father was there. When I woke up, I could command every evil power masquerading as my dad, and powers of my fathers house, coming to steal from me in the dream, to be consumed by fire, and I cancelled that dream. I thank God that you have been instrumental in teaching us these Biblical truths. I have now regained my strength according to Is 40 v.31. Hallelujah!
