Doku being 21 and raw, he’s far from a finished product. If developed right by Pep, it could potentially be our Vini type signing. It may be a stretch, but I have high hopes for Doku and excited to see his growth.
I can Imagine him coming at 2nd half of the game with opponents defence fully tired and not to forget the huge extra time this season, lets do 4-peat now❤
Great video! Doku is going to make the attack electric! Palmer is my concern that he will leave. Sharing the winger role can work and it possible he can get more games just needs patience to stick around like Foden. Pep rates him highly!
Incredible analysis mate! Enjoyed every second of this. Refreshing to see someone so knowledgeable about football in general but also my boyhood club. Extremely excited to see how Doku settles in, but also extremely sad to see our young baller Palmer leaving for Chelsea. Got my sub fella! ( Also very jealous of that signed SWP shirt I can't lie ) COME ON CITEH!
Nobbins, I enjoy your content as usual, I hope for the ultimate success this season for Manchester City coupled with happiness for the team/ management and of course the fans ❤
No worries, Doku can play at the right wing very well, too. Dribbling defenders left, right... During his training sessions/games as a youth player for Anderlecht, he even played as an attacking midfielder. So basically, 3 positions: left winger, right winger, and attacking midfielder. I guess not many people know this.
I don't know whether I am the only one seeing this but the Man city that got the 100 points ( that of Leroy sane) wasn't a possession game city. What I mean is they were a balanced side. They could retain the ball, press high( both during attack and defence) and were lethal during counter attacks I mean to think of this, Sane was a very fast player when he was at city so was sterling and they adapted well to the team which now suggest that city's style of play has now evolved to just being obsessed with possession. It now like they are scared of going forward and focusing more on ball retention like classic Barcelona. We saw this lots of times last season especially during the return leg against Bayern and the 1st leg against real Madrid
Guardiola wasn't so much upset with Sterling or Sane for their aggressive dribbling, as for their lack of discipline. Dribble all you want, but hug the touchline.
Nobbins - Always appreciate your insightful, analytical videos as there is at least 1 takeaway I get from each. This one is no different and I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. Although Pep loves control, perhaps he sees the need for a little chaos (control of course lol) every now and again. Lol Interesting stat: last season Doku ranked 3rd for dribbles per game just behind Messi and Vini Jr. If Pep can help him with his end product, and this is a big ‘IF,’ could Doku potentially a Vini-esque winger on the right at some point in the future?
Thanks mate glad you enjoy the content! I think he absolutely has the tools to be that sort of player, as you say, it’s all about whether he can adapt to a stronger league and whether he can add a greater degree of end product and being more clinical! If anyone can do that, it’s Pep
He's a wild card. He will be brought on when we are struggling to break down 10 men in their own half. The problem will be Peps latest propensity to not make substitutions
I love how you didn’t mention foden as a winger who can keep control and do risky offensive plays aswell like doku maybe not to the same extent but foden can take 2 touches and then he’s in for a goal
Doku plays the same way as Sane and Sterling. Grealish plays because Foden was injured, his English and Costs £100mill and didn't have alternative wingers.. Not because he prefers players like Grealish!
City have a big schedule and are running slow on the market for midfielders, if Foden is more gonna be appointed in the middle why isn't cole Palmer getting more time?
Should win us a lot of penalties against rubbish defenders like Utd’s and Liverpools where they think the can foul city players and get away with it 😂😂🤷🏽♂️👍
Without doubt the signing I'm most excited about this season.
I think he’s going to become a fan favourite immediately. Suspect non-City fans will also love watching him play 💙🇧🇪
Doku being 21 and raw, he’s far from a finished product. If developed right by Pep, it could potentially be our Vini type signing. It may be a stretch, but I have high hopes for Doku and excited to see his growth.
If he works on his end product this guy would be better than Vini
I can Imagine him coming at 2nd half of the game with opponents defence fully tired and not to forget the huge extra time this season, lets do 4-peat now❤
The 4-peat is on!
Remember Sane ? Nothing like it since in PL, This chap is arguably and upgrade on that w both feet too.

Man’s an absolute menace and I can’t wait to see more of him throughout the season
Great video! Doku is going to make the attack electric!

Absolutely brilliant for Haaland 👍🏻

i think he will help out a lot if he understands peps sytem.
Just found your video and it's a quality content. Subscribed already
It sounds good! I cant wait to see him play on the right wing
Same 🇧🇪

i'm also a fan of Shaun Wright-Phillips, but, when you point behind you to something, make sure it's actually readable :D
Great video & great content. 👍🏼

Great video mate.
Foden Haaland Doku - Kevin Kova Rodri - Josko Stones Dias Walker - Ederson | Im dreaming now
Love these analysing videos mate🔵⚪️🙌🏾
Thanks Tyrese!
Ederson & doku combo will be super hit
100%
Good video mate!
Thanks Dr and thanks so much for supporting the Patreon 💙
I so love your channel 😢❤
💙
imagine him being born sooner and playing alongside prime hazard and kdb in the belagian squad🔥🔥🔥🔥
When was Walker ever considered an offensive RB? He's always been a pace merchant who helps stretch the pitch.
At Spurs especially and also early City
I think u should be on city player analysis team, u r very good!! ❤
Haha that’s very kind of you but I’m nowhere near those levels
This is exciting
some very good predictions there :) but not all
He's a wild card. He will be brought on when we are struggling to break down 10 men in their own half. The problem will be Peps latest propensity to not make substitutions
great video❤
Thank you!
How are you able to use videos in the video doesn’t copyright stop it ? Good video as well

Foden's not a winger

Not because he prefers players like Grealish!
To be honest City need a winger who takes on really good.
Sterling was not that winger tbh he was bang avg despite what the stats says.
Sterling was average?? U are crazy u twart
Class
Amazing analysis I just wonder how long does it take to make this video ? :)
Thank you Jakub! Many many many many hours this took 😂 so any support from you guys is greatly appreciated 💙
Pep will cook with DOKU. 🤔
it's nice to have someone intelligent talk about football, just look at sky sports saturday social 😂
What do you think of Ludovic blas😮
Where did you get the statistics from ?
FB Ref 😊 you can see the source in the bottom right when the stats are on screen
Can you make a video on our newest signing Matheus Nunes please
Yep that’s in the works mate 😊
New Hazard
🇧🇪
City have a big schedule and are running slow on the market for midfielders, if Foden is more gonna be appointed in the middle why isn't cole Palmer getting more time?
We’ll have to see what happens I guess, in theory Bernardo and Doku will be used as the main RWs
🏆🔥🏆🔥🏆
Doku is a Txiki signing
Should win us a lot of penalties against rubbish defenders like Utd’s and Liverpools where they think the can foul city players and get away with it 😂😂🤷🏽♂️👍
Earned yourself a sub, up the boys in blue!🩵
