Rue is mentioned in the HOLY Bible. The LORD Jesus said that Pharisee's tithe mint and rue but they leave out other more significant parts of the law. He said that they strain out a gnat and swallow a camel. Jesus the Christ was born approximately 2022 years ago of a virgin named Mary. He was wounded for our transgressions, bruised for our INIQUITIES. The chastisement of our peace was upon him and by his stripes we are healed ( See The HOLY Bible).
This plant is not Arizona heat tolerant. I have had to put it in shade during the summer to have any luck, because it just dies, no matter how much water is given. Give it water every morning and mist every day...this thing really grows beautifully during every other time but the Arizona Summer, especially the Phoenix Area. Which sucks. But.... what can you do
Don KiksBiscuits they don’t do well. In the shade, they wilt. I had a very very expensive plant light that I got for them, because in our culture (I’m middle eastern) they keep away the evil eye, black magic, plague and demons, so it’s a plant you want. But it still does not grow, rather it wilts as well or stops growing and goes as if you gave it too much water, even though the soil was dry down to 6-7 inches in the pot.
@@musskeeterbump I had great luck growing rue indoors this summer. Now that it's cooler, it's not as happy because it's not very sunny. I didn't air condition and it grew from a seedling to a large plant.
Thank you for sharing your video's. i was looking at adding the Rue to my flower bed which is on the side of my septic bed facing south, but since it is a bush rather then a flower i am concerned the root system might hurt the drain tiles? Is this a valid concern or can i go ahead and add this plant. i have no intentions of using the plant for ingestion of any kind. Also I am in Zone 5b central Ontario Ca. what is the growing zones on the Rue? Thank you stay well
I also hear it's a bad omen or negative energy involved when you have one of those plants die on your property . But then again that's probably just old timers folklore, beliefs and superstition .
I planted 5 half gallon sized Rue recently. Live in hot part of West Texas. I am seeing new parsley looking growth but also dryed yellowish leaves on some.
Wm Petroff.. Me too! My Rue plant has a lot of yellow leaves on the bottom, I'm in Central Florida where it gets hot. I read that Rue doesn't like much water and likes full sun, so I moved the plant in a much sunnier location and cut back on the watering but I haven't seen a difference since then. I'm just thinking that maybe it's normal to see those yellow leaves but in the video I don't see any yellow leaves on the underside of the plant 😆
@@banehelsing7541..at Easter time I bought a few one gallon size, one foot tall Rue plants, separated them by 2 feet placed near a stone wall and planted them at a place where nothing like this ever, ever grows in the direct 9 hour El Paso sun. I have water them daily. I just read to allow for drying out so I will comply. I was unaware of Rue until last month at the nursery. I am eager to have them thrive. Thanks for responding since there is miniscule data about them.
