You did the fountains of the 12e justice. This is where I live in Paris and we refill our bottles every 3 days from that sparkling water fountain.

The first time I viewed those large terraced gardens and stairs leading up to Promenade Plantee was from the top and saw a homeless person or persons had brought a mattress and blankets onto one of the ledges. What a room with a view!

I like your easy-going mellow voice Corey. So easy to listen to. Those green hairy round balls on that plant are very familiar as they grown everywhere here in Africa. Called :Gomphocarpus (=Asclepias) physocarpus it's a plant in the milkweed family often used as an ornamental for the striking yellowish, ball-like fruits. The name physocarpa comes from the Greek physa meaning bladder and karpos, fruit, referring to the inflated, bladder-like fruits

Paris is beautiful at any time of the year. In the city, every square and park looks like a blooming botanical garden. Thank you so much for the video walk !!! Very interesting to tell and make a video !!!

    Great broadcast.
    At the last fountain- Athena
Patron Goddess of Wisdom and protector
of the eternal city of Athens Greece.
The shield is the instrument she uses to protect her beloved Athenians.
    Not a warrior .
As mentioned before , the French and especially the Parisians always referenced the Classical city of Ancient Athens for inspiration and beauty- as Athens is known for.
    Just wonted to clarify
    Many thanks once again
    I always enjoy your broadcasts.

Thanks for showing that entrance to the Promenade Plantée. I will look forward to the PDF to find out where it is. I have only entered from Bastille. I have not yet walked the entire distance to Bois de Vincennes.

Corey, I haven't been able to wrap my head around public urinating in Europe. What's the deal ? Does it occur to those that do that it contributes to unsanatory conditions . Paris is not a 3rd world country.

Lisa Copeland I agree it’s gross. Though I’m not sure Paris has more of it than other major cities (in the Western World at least). It’s definitely a very specific type of person who does such a thing, and I’m not sure how you’d convince them to stop. Maybe more live-streamers need to catch them in the act. 😊 Thanks for watching and I promise a pee-free episode next week! 😉
