Hi Bel. I'm the one who shot this. Some background: This was the end of the Stowaways set. The Stowaways are a collection of random artists, about 12-15, that will play covers just for fun. Think, live band karaoke with pros. About 3-4 songs from the end, I saw Ivan walk by towards the side of the stage. As in The Warning's videographer. After a couple of minutes, I decided to head over in that direction to see if the sisters were there. Yep, saw Dany. I figured they were going to just bring her up for a song, so I stuck around. The song before this was Don't Fear The Reaper and a bunch of the artists came on with cowbells. I was expecting Dany to be among them. But, nope. After that song finished, they announced The Warning and Michael Starr for the last performance. Said screw it and pulled out my phone and started recording. Side note on the annoying guy yelling at the beginning. When they announced The Warning, he said "The Warning. They kick ass!" Yeah, I gave him a pass.

The Warning have been paying their dues, playing small venues, playing the 3rd or 4th stage at festivals, but along the way they are getting the respect from headliners and rock critics around the world. They have been moved up to the main stage at the 30th Pol'and'Rock Festival!
That's awesome! Yes as much as TW deserves awards, and as much as Pau earned hers, the respect and acceptance--and the opening spots and the touring opportunities--from rock icons seems as much or more meaningful imo.
They are now going to be in pol and rock in Poland on the big stage, which might be the biggest festival on the planet they are expecting 750000 people there,we are watching super stars in the making
Dany is such a guitar tone SuperGeek! She absolutely NAILED that tone and immediately took me back to the first time I heard H2H! Just a great performance and if you zoom in you can catch Pau grinning ear to ear AND singing along early on.
You can see at the end that Dany is queuing Pau and Ale for the end parts so they all would hit those at the same time. Check it out. There's also another video that's from Dany's side of the stage where you can see her doing it and Pau looking at her to get the queue and I'm sure Ale is also. Check it!
AC/DC is one of those bands that got played often in the Villarreal household, so they’re definitely familiar with the catalog. No idea if they knew beforehand and rehearsed before arrival, but either way they sounded tight. They can pretty much read each other’s minds on a stage anyway.
Kudos to Pau here on drums. The AC/DC songs are not complicated for a drummer. They are mostly just keeping a solid beat. However, this is a jam. No one has practiced this. Pau is not sure exactly where the song is always going, but she keeps an eye on everyone and really plays it smoothly. She's a real pro.
They did an all star jam to end the cruise and this was the encore. The cruise was delayed for 8 hours after they crashed into the dock on Tues. 30 some bands and the Warning gets chosen to close.
The Warning is hungry to grow and I wonder if other bands were offered the stop first but for whatever reason declined. Either way I'm very happy to see the girls increase the number of TWA.
Absolutely EPIC live performance!! hese sisters are overwhelmingly talented! They are the best power trio of XXI century! Awesome crossover! Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
I've met Ralph AKA Michael Starr and he is NOTHING like his character on stage. Coolest guy, very down to earth and respectful. He's just a guy you wanna sit down and have a beer with.
I've kind of "stumbled across" quite a few celebrities over the years, and to be honest most of them were that way. The only one I was ever put off by was a pro football player. Eventually he had a dinner reservation to go to, and he invited me to come along - "My treat" he said. I respectfully turned him down, because I was meeting a friend, and he said, "OK, next time then..." and wandered off with the group we were with. Only afterwards did I find out who he was. I honestly think he had fun talking to me precisely *because* I didn't know who he was, and just treated him like a guy I bumped into at the bar (he was with some mutual friends, so I sat down with them). Probably the most unusual "celebrity encounter" I've ever had. 😋
This was Shiprocked Cruise 2024. The Warning played 2 shows, one show Sunday night Feb 4th and another on Feb 9th. They played S!CK during both shows and HELL YOU CALL A DREAM the second show
I am really curious to know if they rehearsed it at all, or were just winging it. I’m pretty sure Dany’s little solo was impromptu. Fun and memorable jam for DPA. 😎👍
This was ShipRock, a rock 'n Roll cruise out of Miami. TW played two shows on the ship. The ship ran into the dock in Jamaica due to high winds and had some damage. Some passengers were briefly left on shore when the ship had to go out to sea until the winds calmed down.
All I can say is this, I wish I could of been there to see this live in front of me...Dany, Pau and Ale just hitting it out of the park, so damn proud to see them shine like this.
This was so very fun seeing The Warning up there just having the best time!! And to me, the others on stage seemed happy as all hell to be on stage with DPA - they sure $h!t know at what level the sisters are at!

The Warning might not get invited back to perform on a cruise ship. They sing, "Mayday, this ship is going down". They follow it by singing "I won't survive the fall, Just let me drown, Let me drown, Let me dive in, Sink in deeper, Push my head, Choke me 'til I drown, Let me drown". They didn't have the decency to sing "Survive" on the ship, to let everyone know they would be alright in "The End".

EDIT: i see you found out and fixed it... i have an idea why it happens... i've seen similar before with macros to trigger a key in a window and that window doesn't have focus for some reason... but that doesn't make sense here since the audio does roll on properly...

It's cool to see so many old school rockers accept THE WARNING and show them respect.
