I was thinking the same. Or maybe keep the labels of used skein, and if you want to buy more yarn, you have to "use" one label to buy one skein? Kind of like a one-in-one out system.
You could honestly make one of these videos every month or every other month, and I would be jazzed to watch them. I love when yarny RUclipsrs keep track of how much yarn they acquire versus how much they use. It would also be super cool if you kept a tally of how many scrunchies you make in a month.
The yarn use is impressive. But honestly, I’m more impressed that you can be filming content for multiple videos simultaneously. 1. How much yarn 2. How many scrunchies 3. Vlogs That’s being unbelievably well organized and disciplined. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You used more in one month than you bought in your first bulk order! Congratulations! It is so true that during the process of making, you don't realise just how much yarn is used so it ends up feeling like you're constantly buying. Thank you for making these videos!
Yes. I love how you rejoice with the tags. Also that you always say we and us in everything you do. It feels so warm and inclusive. Thank you for that.
Okay I would definitely say my FAVORITE part of this video is how happy Kelsie was for finishing 79 skeins!! 1. I’m SO IMPRESSED like omg! 2. She has a beautiful smile and she was just so happy!!! Love you and all your videos Kelsie❤
I tried to see how many skeins I used in September. I ended up using 30!. Several of them were the granny all in one and now I have 170 granny squares that I need to do something with.
you should make a video where cesar picks random yarn from your stash and you make it into something. it’s a good chance to use some yarn that you rarely use, fun because it’s a mystery for you, and also a good opportunity to maybe crochet something new!
I really enjoy these videos! I've been saving every label since January 1 of this year to see how many I use all year. It's fun! Great job, 79 is awesome!
You are a very impressive young woman!! Not just with how much yarn you can crochet up, but with the logistics of filming, editing and posting multiple different videos. It makes my head spin thinking about it. The cool thing about the yarn your friend brought you on vacation is that it never made it to your house! It was turned into scrunchies that are waiting to go to their happy homes. A cone of Lily’s Sugar & Cream is about 3.3-4.5 skeins. So if you use a whole cone give yourself proper credit. 🙌🏻 Great job all around! Keep up the good work. ❤
Woman. YOU ARE THE QUEEN!!!!! You are awesome. Inspiring, devoted, dedicated and a pure delight. So glad you are healthy and happy. Bless you. Love and big warm hugs 🫶❤️👍👏💋😍🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾 I hope you treat yourself to a yummy sweet dessert.
Great job and congratulations! I love saving the labels from skeins for a project I'm working on. It makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. Like it proves that I am doing it!
I'm so proud of you! I was guessing that you would almost get to 100 lables. I knew you did a lot of scrunches this last month, but you did so many bags too!
I absolutely love ur first ‘how much yarn in a month’ it was the first video I ever saw of yours and it’s my favorite out of all of ur videos. Especially the time lapses and music.
Wow Kelsie what an amazing amount of yarn used. Now to think of a challenge for you to use the yarn in the cubbies behind you. I love watching your videos.xxxx
I didn’t guess this time, but boy you are definitely a scrunchie making machine. That’s a 172 scrunchies, crazy good. U go girl. So enjoyed this video. Hope you’re having a great day.
The first "how many in one month" show how much you progress. Everybody have to learn and it's good to see that you can identified the defaults in it that you correct since then. Good job Kelsie :) You use 1/2 of a bulk order for the Juicy couture yarn and 1/3 of it in the "how many scrunchies in 12h" Impressive👏
Kelsie you're amazing!! yes love love these videos please keep making them🥰 and whether or not you beat your past self these are just so fun to watch as little recaps! also please give yourself a day off every once in a while you deserve it!🌻
Girl you are a MACHINE! I wish my hands could handle crocheting more often. Crocheting a bag as fast as I can for ren fest tomorrow and I am huuuurting. ❤️🩹
Kelsie I am begging you to make a vid series where you try and use up the yarn in the cubby shelf behind you. it would be so cool. you've mentioned before that you dont use acrylic yarn that often so I also think it would be super good because it would be a way to work through your yarn stash and not have to buy a bunch of replacement yarn. anyways... love the scrunchies lol.
I love these videos. And of course you use your yarn you literally have a crochet business! The only thing I’m hoping for in the future is for a dedicated juicy couture yarn shelf. Likely that would mean using some of your less used yarns so I don’t expect that until the new year when you said you might go in your yarn buying ban.
Congratulations Kelsie! This was a huge accomplishment. You did so well. I didn’t go in guessing how many skeins you were going to use. It made the video more fun. That pile of Juicy Couture labels was huge. The progression of these videos has been awesome.
I love how you did this video! I keep meaning to do a video of all the yarn I used and just keep forgetting. Just so you know before I came across your tutorials all I made were amigurumis. Now my boutique is stuffed with hair accessories too now. I told a crochet friend about your scrunchies and she started making them. Now she is getting so many orders and getting requests from friends. Im hooked on making more wearables now. Seriously ive been a plushie maker for 12 years.
This is mind blowing. Damn Kelsie. I've seen all your video's the past month and this video but damn 79 skeins 🤯🤯🤯 I would love to see this video concept a couple times a year 😁😁 But i don't want you to ask to much off yourself and if you make another video please don't get upset if you don't beat this marvelous record
Maybe since you count a cone and a regular skein as equal, you could also keep track of the yardage used for finished skeins? Like Juicy is 107 yards, and just multiple by how many you used plus the others. I think itd be really interesting to see how many thousands of yards you use!
That is awesome lots of things made, you used so much yarn very impressive. Luv watching your videos. I used your tutorial to make my daughter a lily top. Turned out pretty good. She likes it and it fits so that’s all that really matters. ❤❤
Im currently making a bandana rn and it always feels like i have a crochet buddy! I love these videos, your first one is how i discovered you this year and so it always feels a lil nostalgic when i watch your other two! I would love to see you beat 80! An idea that i have is id love to see you break down a video like this week by week but focusing different yarn types to really bust your stash. Like "how many lily sugar n creme can i use this week?" "How much acrylic can i use this week?" Then at the end of the month you have more room everywhere than just your floor lol.
This is why i WATCHED her video, so i started crocheting when i dont watch her yet, i wanted to give up until i found her vid and it made me crochet or make projects and sell them, I eventually made 120 (Philippine money) last 6 months ago!
I would be so genuinely curious how many skeins you use in a yer, I know this would take forever but if you gave an update every month then we could get a rough idea. I love your channel and your business. I have recently joined a fiber art club on my college campus and I knit a beanie during club time today. I discovered however I am like the only person in the club who enjoys working with cotton yarn, so now they give me all theirs they don't want which is great! thank you for your amazing content
Video Idea: You should time yourself making your most popular items and see how much you could be pricing if you gave yourself an hourly wage plus supply costs. Love your channel! 💕
I'd love to see a video where you challenge yourself to use up a cubby, or maybe a row from your shelf, and see what you can get used. Obviously, you use the yarn you buy, but it seems like some of the stuff put nicely away might live there and maybe that could be a good way to keep more things moving?
Hi Kelsie! I absolutely love watching your videos and crochet/knitting along! I was curious if you’ve considered doing a review on the Big Twist cotton yarn from Joann’s! I personally love the color ways and feel like you would too! Keep being awesome and see you in your next upload! :)
When comparing the older versions of this video with this current one, you can see that her yarn usage not only changed in numbers but also the brands differ; previously, Kelsie made scrunchies with Bernat velvet, which are huge compared to J.C.. 1 skein of bernat velvet made 10.75 scrunchies while 1 skein of the J.C. Makes 3.5-4. Additionally, her store currently offers custom mesh market bags which weren’t in the previous videos too, so there’s more options in using the Lilly Sugar & cream 🙈 (just a thought I had :) )
kelsie i love your videos but MAN i wonder how you haven't gone insane pumping out so much content. i hope you've had a good month though and i wish october to be just as silly and fun
My thoughts exactly! It's already impressive how consistent her crochet vlogs are. But to think she's been filming clips for this video - all month long - and editing all that footage, too... it's crazy.
Hi, Kelsie! You are such a friendly and positive person! It is always a great pleasure for me to watch your videos! I am from Poland (Europe) and I am trying to start my handmade business. I also make scrunchie (100% cotton), my pattern is different from yours. I would love to try to make soft and fluffy like yours, would you mind sharing the pattern with me? 💚💙💜
Now we need a how much yarn I bought video 😂
Ha! Good idea
I was thinking the same. Or maybe keep the labels of used skein, and if you want to buy more yarn, you have to "use" one label to buy one skein? Kind of like a one-in-one out system.
Now this would be an eye opener
Yes that’s what I was thinking how much came in vs how much used…
Exactly 😅
It's incredible that you are able to post the regular vlogs AND film content for these long-term videos. Logistically very impressive
I was thinking the same thing
You could honestly make one of these videos every month or every other month, and I would be jazzed to watch them. I love when yarny RUclipsrs keep track of how much yarn they acquire versus how much they use. It would also be super cool if you kept a tally of how many scrunchies you make in a month.

1. How much yarn 2. How many scrunchies 3. Vlogs

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Yes, it is awesome👍🧶
The "same day different shirt I swear" was so personal
😂😂
You used more in one month than you bought in your first bulk order! Congratulations!
It is so true that during the process of making, you don't realise just how much yarn is used so it ends up feeling like you're constantly buying.
Thank you for making these videos!
The wordless waving of yarn labels is my favorite thing
Thank you thank you I’m glad you like
Yes. I love how you rejoice with the tags. Also that you always say we and us in everything you do. It feels so warm and inclusive. Thank you for that.
Katie has a very strong sense of the world and he knows that the best thing about this
Okay I would definitely say my FAVORITE part of this video is how happy Kelsie was for finishing 79 skeins!!
Not my brain chiming in with "granny square three-piece suit?" TTATT;;
You should make a blanket or some baby blankets and donate them
Make a long coat!
Now a video with how much yarn comes in vs goes out in a month! Thanks for another great video!
If she designs a printable yarn ledger and puts it in her shop, I think it'll make bank. XD
you should make a video where cesar picks random yarn from your stash and you make it into something. it’s a good chance to use some yarn that you rarely use, fun because it’s a mystery for you, and also a good opportunity to maybe crochet something new!
Me feeling all proud when she tells us good job everyone. 😂😊😊💕
Thank you so much for sharing all that you do with us. Celebrate your total!
I really enjoy these videos! I've been saving every label since January 1 of this year to see how many I use all year. It's fun! Great job, 79 is awesome!

😃😁😃 “Yeah!” I love your smile right there!!!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻GOOD JOB!!!! Isn’t enough!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻GREAT JOB, Kelsie!
Wow it's cool your improving with each time you do this type of video. You look like you were having fun with your crochet. 👍🤗
Woman. YOU ARE THE QUEEN!!!!! You are awesome. Inspiring, devoted, dedicated and a pure delight.
So glad you are healthy and happy.
Bless you. Love and big warm hugs 🫶❤️👍👏💋😍🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾
I hope you treat yourself to a yummy sweet dessert.
Great job and congratulations! I love saving the labels from skeins for a project I'm working on. It makes me feel like I'm accomplishing something. Like it proves that I am doing it!
Yea ❤️ I had my coffee ready and just kept refreshing so I could get my day started!!!
This is one of my absolute favorite types of videos from my favorite RUclipsr/ crocheter! ❤❤❤ love you Kelsie ❤❤❤
Fantastic job!! WOW! What a great job. Definitely made a depletion in your boxes of yarn..
Fantastic!!! I think you need to order more yarn. Keep Smiling.
Wow, Kelsie, what an amazing accomplishment in just a month! You're a crazy yarn woman and I love it! Way to go! 🎉
I could watch this every month 😊 what an inspiration you are in terms of productivity, I have your videos playing in my tie dye studio while I work ❤
Wow Kelsie what an amazing amount of yarn used.
Now we need a things that I've crochet so far this year........love you and you are so beautiful
Yesss, a beautiful sunshiny day, iced tea and one of my favorite creative brains just posted!! Heyy girl lol Cheers and much love!
The first "how many in one month" show how much you progress. Everybody have to learn and it's good to see that you can identified the defaults in it that you correct since then. Good job Kelsie :)

Just amazing❤
Be proud of yourself❤
I have fallen in love with your videos they make me so happy! you have such a fun personality.
You should totally do one in January! This is my favorite type of videos from you
You’ve inspired me to keep track of my yarn labels! I’m trying not to buy new yarn until after the new year 😬
Girl you are a MACHINE! I wish my hands could handle crocheting more often. Crocheting a bag as fast as I can for ren fest tomorrow and I am huuuurting. ❤️🩹
Make sure to take small breaks and stretch! ❤️ I know the crochet crunch.
Fall is upon us and soon winter. I'm thinking beanie and ear warmer season. Making beanies and ear warmers out of the acrylic could use up a lot.
That will be amazing. Now is her acrylic yarn time coming I guess👍🧶
Recently I have been saving my yarn labels and I already have 15 skeins

Great job Kelsie, That's really impressive
Way to go young lady. Excellent amount, I guessed 59. I'm actually keeping mine for a year, ends on Dec 31st. It's going to be fun counting them.
It's one of my favorite sequels 😍❣️😍
I love how you did this video! I keep meaning to do a video of all the yarn I used and just keep forgetting. Just so you know before I came across your tutorials all I made were amigurumis. You're such a Productivity Queen 👑👑👑 I love it
this is hard work!!! Thank you for doing this!! Wow!!! Thank you for sharing and putting this together!! Love it! 'til next time!
That is awesome! Love to see you succesful and happy.
Well done that's a solid effort. I was watching your video and my baby girl started clapping when you were adding up your labels. 😂
It was a solid 80!🎉 You forgot the cone in the total count.
Good jobb Kelsi, you inspire me.
That was freaking awesome!! I gasped out loud at your Sugar and Cream total! Love these videos!
Just an idea, the pride yarns you bought a while ago, look very good when knitted and possibly double stranded.
I absolutely love this series!!! just tried Juicy yarn and i see why its so popular for scrunchies!
Great job Kelsie. Love you vlogs.
Great succcesful end of the month. Thank you for sharing 😊
Great video. These sort of videos are my favorites and I hope you make them more frequently in the future 💖
i love love love these, they're always so motivating to watch!
Impressive!! Give yourself some big big kudos for this accomplishment!
Your filming management is really amazing, and good job on finishing so many yarns!
Maybe since you count a cone and a regular skein as equal, you could also keep track of the yardage used for finished skeins? Like Juicy is 107 yards, and just multiple by how many you used plus the others. I think itd be really interesting to see how many thousands of yards you use!
Awesome video! Thanks for the entertainment and the inspiration!
That come is equivalent to 4 skeins in my mind. You got 82 baby girl
I really enjoy these videos. Thank you for them. So impressive!
That is awesome lots of things made, you used so much yarn very impressive. Luv watching your videos. I used your tutorial to make my daughter a lily top. Turned out pretty good. She likes it and it fits so that’s all that really matters. ❤❤
its raining and kinda cold here in my coutry, a new crochet video is just what i needed for the cozy vibes for today xD thanks
Hope you enjoyed it!
Well done! You're amazing 👏 💖
Faboulous!! Keep it coming.
Im currently making a bandana rn and it always feels like i have a crochet buddy!

This type of video is how I got into your channel ❤️
this is absolutely insane, i can barely use a few skeins a month, so this is super inspiring.
Amazing amount of yarn!
congratulations!!! my first guess was 62 and then when you said 33 sugar and cream i made my final guess of 78 😅
I was cheering for you at the end.
wow that's super impressive! go Kelsie!
I wish I could start a crochet business, you are literally so inspiring this is so impressive!!
I'm Jerry from TEXAS love you take care ❤
Wow, you did an amazing job on finishing alot of yarn. I guessed 56 so I was definately short on my amount. You are a crocheting machine.
This is why i WATCHED her video, so i started crocheting when i dont watch her yet, i wanted to give up until i found her vid and it made me crochet or make projects and sell them, I eventually made 120 (Philippine money) last 6 months ago!
A huge yes to more of these videos ❤
❤wow🎉awesome 😊job 👏 I love watching your month use and make as much products in month🎉🎉🎉
since those juicy couture were full once upon a time thats 172 scrunches which is crazy! I love your videos.
I would be so genuinely curious how many skeins you use in a yer, I know this would take forever but if you gave an update every month then we could get a rough idea. Very impressive. Love your videos
My guess was 50 at most!! 🎉 congratulations on that 79!
Congrats :)
That is an awesome amount of yarn to use in one month :)
I would love for you to film more of this type of video for us please :)
soooo proud of you, kelsie ❤ keep going 🥰
I love this encourages me to crochet more thank you
I'd love to see you do a video where you exclusively use yarn from your cubbies in the background. I feel like that stock never moves. XDD
I think the knit beanies could make a dent in a lot of it since the one shelf looks like mostly acrylic like some of the past ones she has made.
Wow! You have set the bar very high! Tough to beat that number!
Hi Kelsie! I absolutely love watching your videos and crochet/knitting along! I was curious if you’ve considered doing a review on the Big Twist cotton yarn from Joann’s! I personally love the color ways and feel like you would too! Keep being awesome and see you in your next upload! :)

WOW.. I LOVE THIS KIND OF VIDEO, always enjoy your challenge!!!!! Love you 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
