The irony about the Velma redesign is, the thing everyone was mad about at first, the skin color, was by far the least of the problems with it. That goes to the weird unnecessary lines they threw everywhere, the sharp square glasses, the super horizontal eyes with a single dot in the middle, and the fact that the design seems super... condensed if that makes sense? Like she's shorter in the redesign, but nothing else is adjusted to match, so it just looks like someone resized her vertically in MS Paint. And the larger irony is the redesign was by far the least of the problems with the show. The biggest problem was the "look how edgy we are" writing.
The VA that plays velma is the sole reason why this shit got the green light. She has basically put herself into every character she voiced. The entire show is some woke bs crap

For clarity, that Sonic Redesign is from a series called "Sonic Boom" which is a sort of alternate universe in sonic, with its own characters, story, and locations, seperate from the main sonic stuff.

The irony about the Velma redesign is, the thing everyone was mad about at first, the skin color, was by far the least of the problems with it. That goes to the weird unnecessary lines they threw everywhere, the sharp square glasses, the super horizontal eyes with a single dot in the middle, and the fact that the design seems super... condensed if that makes sense? Like she's shorter in the redesign, but nothing else is adjusted to match, so it just looks like someone resized her vertically in MS Paint.
And the larger irony is the redesign was by far the least of the problems with the show. The biggest problem was the "look how edgy we are" writing.
The VA that plays velma is the sole reason why this shit got the green light. She has basically put herself into every character she voiced. The entire show is some woke bs crap
