Warmonger isn't bad either. A very solid mid tier character. The issue is the player does not use the correct punishes 90% of the time, doesn't do a good job using WM kit and mixups and is a mediocre player overall.

Angelus call a draft for some warmonger players, at this point it's like he's not even taking this remotely seriously and is just pressing buttons. I play warmonger better than this and I only have 2 reps on her. At least find someone who's going to respect the match, these type of players just waste everyone's time.

I feel like there should be standards to keep. If you go over x matches without a win or hit a certain deficit in your ratio, you get replaced. Kinda like ufc you know
I agree. I've never understood why he uses this same map and never switches it up. Not to mention that heroes like cent, wm, lb, etc. lose a lot of their power since they don't have an available wall.
He's going to a smaller map with walls for the actual tournament. This is just the qualifiers. Technically everyone will be in the tournament so LB and WM will have a chance to shine in the smaller maps, but theyre going to have to grind through everyone all over again to get to the top whereas those who have done well will get some cheats and byes.

This guy baited shaman a bunch but always did the same thing so the shaman read him and took advantage. Not everyone is on the same skill level but I think WM should get pulled from the comp bc he just can’t compete with these other top dogs.
I dont think the zone after heavy parry is a good idea, you cannot use the bash after a zone. If you light its 1 less damage but you have the ability to throw another light do a heavy or bash
You can throw a light attack after zone, and the only incentive to even throw a light for the punish would be to establish a bash mixup which this dogshit warmonger is not capable of
I think Ravager can improve if he gets training and pointers from other players like Angelus. Maybe he has not played in a while, maybe he reads the comments. Whatever it is, there were a lot of mistakes made. I really want to see him grow and improve, but at the end of the day it is up to Ravager himself to make that choice.

I don't blame for you being hopeful but sometimes there's just a time when a replacement is needed

I don’t even play warmonger and I feel like I would do better than this guy. The dude didn’t even play around her bash at all, barely threw it out. When the shaman landed 2 out of stamina lights I just cut the video off.
I know the Shaman player had the reaction advantage and has insane pressure with the bleed. But Ravager spent half the fight getting hit by like every didge attack and was bit a thousand times. Probably wasnt trying. Warmonger just sucks because all she has is a bash that's punishable by gb everytime (even the level 1 and 2 bash). So every attack is very risky. Should have at least tried. You carry the #1 title so you gotta represent.
Warmonger doesn’t suck at all. She has good pressure and frame advantage on chains. People just don’t know how to use her. And then you have this “top rank” who can’t parry a dodge attack to save his life
@@zorro8027 with frame advantage you can bully the majority of console players. Against anyone reacting to offense you have the bash and that's it. And the level 1-2 version is just as punishable as the level three. Meaning she can land a level 1 or 2 for small damage but can punished with big damage if she misses. Also most dodge attacks will evade her fully charged bash anyways when they dodge early. Warmonger is just too damn punishable

That’s their whole point of their design. As for the rest of her kit, Now having Hyper Armor on follow ups allows for trades; which, ironically, are probably the reason this warmonger even beat the Nobu for his first w. Her dodge attack is atrocious though; definitely needs a speed buff

Chargeable bashes have the kit necessary to work; it just comes down to reading your opponent and how your opponent reads you.
Ik Ravager struggles in this series but warmonger is honestly very lackluster. Idc what anyone says. With an Extremely predictable move set that is highly susceptible to both gb and light parries along with very bad stamina management. Her only pressure comes from a chargeable bash which on paper is really good because of how late you can feint and its tracking is like wardens. Yet in practice doesnt work very well. Her main mix up is a mix of wardens chain mix up and warlords neutral mix up. She has wardens opener bash and warlords frame advantage after bash. On their own these mix ups work fine but when combined Ubi ended up giving her these 2 characters most glaring problems. She gets wardens high gb vulnerability on forward bash start up along with his Low stamina pool and warlords non-existen chain pressure. The reason why warden works despite those issues is because he has amazing range on his bash and unblockables. Warlord works because he currently has the best bash. A simple fix is to allow her to bash after heavy and makes her bash 100ms into dodge forward instead of the 300ms into dodge forward. People calling her good or fine as is are wild to me.
