    This is what made me decide to go after my dreams of being a bodybuilder. I went from being 220lbs over weight to being 180lbs of muscle mass, benching more than what my old body weight was. And now I am competing in my first competition this year. Thank you for this inspiring video. Arnold is the best.

      Yeah, I have to precise. Recently I wonder what does it mean to be a man. And I figured out that it is about DOING. For me it is about setting goals and achieving. I'm tired of thinking, overthinking. I want to DO SOMETHING! Make something! Make myself! I don't think Arnie is better than me in ethically sense. i don't know that. From what I see he seems to be a nice guy. I don't see any haughtiness in him and this is what I too often feel (paradox, because I feel like shit). I want I need such model. Person who achieve and inspire others to do best they can do. I'm very happy about this discovery of Arnold. It is very recent discovery and I'm telling you man. His words, his success is helping me to be better man. Maybe even morally.

      Josh Peterson alright lad i’m not being a downer but boxing and body building isn’t going to work. Have to commit so much time and energy to both. I’m all for making dreams reality but you can’t really balance both at the highest levels

      Number bloodySIX maybe I can do bodybuilding after boxing that’s what Franco Columbu did. He was a boxer first than got into bodybuilding. Arnold got into the movies after retiring from bodybuilding so I can do both but one after I retire from the other. Just because it hasn’t been done before doesn’t mean it can’t.

Used to listen to it every day, then gradually every month, then only when I needed a inspirational and motivational boost. Haven't listened to it for a good 4 or 5 years now just come back from a gym workout and thought about it, felt like I needed that life boost again and it still gives me the same feelings/ motivational boost as it did when I first listened to it as a 17 year old 10 years ago.

We all know that the Father has sent the Son, whom we know is Jesus Christ. We should all be very aware of this, and never lose track of this. For it is life-saving truth.

    I may have already commen 2:21 ted on this but 12 years ago when i was at a milestone in my career to become a senior personnel at my organization, this video sat with me so strongly and pushed me to my limits and I can speak from experience...work your butt off...no pain no gain, it even inspired me to push myself physically and can now leg press 800 lbs and 16 times...back then when this was made at most I could only do around 200 lbs. I've also given colleagues looking to get promoted this advice that Arnold gave...paying it forward because anyone who is down or needs some inspiration should watch this video.

      *****
      Arnold is the one that has lived an incredible life and done things that most people will only be able to dream about. He became a champion in 3 unbelievably competitive areas. The undisputed king of bodybuilding, an enormous film star, and the governor of the most populous (and greatest, I might add) state. You, on the other hand, are left to argue the virtue of steroids on RUclips. Yeah, you're pretty much in no position to try to diminish the success of the man for using steroids for a brief period decades ago when everyone else was also using them.

    • @nathanripley5506
      @nathanripley5506 11 лет назад

      ***** I guarantee I know more about steroids than you do. If you use them intelligently then most of the risks you hear about are not a factor.

    • @marheesesnow8679
      @marheesesnow8679 11 лет назад +4

      ***** At the time Arnold used steroids noone really knew anything about the sideeffects. There was a new product on the market that enabled him to work HARDER to achieve his goals and he used it! That's motivation for everyone in every situation. He didn't take a product that made anything easier! He wanted to be able to perform on a much higher level.
      Judging by your comment above you have absolutely no idea what bodybuilding is. How much dedication it takes to control what you put in your body and when all the time. To spend 2-3 hours in the gym DAILY! Putting yourself through so much pain that you get the feeling that you're gonna throw up! You have no idea how much dedication it takes to push yourself until black points and stars appear in your vision and you certainly have no clue how much dedication it takes to push yourself even further!! And the only thing that steroids allow you to do is to go to the place where you can do all this and more.
      Finally: How about you do some reading??

We can have a friendly rivalry. We can be the next Franco and Arnold! Beat each other in Olympia’s and be rivals but also best friends and training partners. You down bro? We will be training partners and motivate us to keep going but be friendly rivals. We will be like Arnie and Franco and Lou Ferrigno in our own pumping iron one day lol. Safa Yavuz awesome you can be my Apollo and I will be Rocky without the dying of course. Perfect we will be the real Rocky and Apollo and the next Arnold and Franco in bodybuilding. Former rivals turned best friends. We will be great and legends in boxing and bodybuilding. One day there will be Josh Peterson simulated fight against the current champ on my Rocky 6. Right bro? You can be my Apollo and mock me on tv and I will stun you in our second fight by the last second and I will recreate Rocky 2. Where can we talk and motivate each other bro before we become Rocky, and Apollo and Arnold and Franco respectively?

    Arnold is the Father of Bodybuilding. I don't give a damn if he used steroids. They weren't illegal back then, until he showed the world it was. You still need to put in the Work in the Gym and at home. You don't just take steroids and become huge.

      Good stuff man Arnold trained twice a day up to five hours at a time he worked hard I remember reading I'm his book total recall he only used steroids on of season to try not to lose muscle. And at the time people did not know much about steroids. Today steroids are much stronger and guys like Ronnie Jay cutler kai green and Phil use them all day. They work hard but Arnold is and will be the hardest working bodybuilder of all time.
