- I am taking you on a tour of Universal's Premier Hotel, The Hard Rock Hotel. This hotel is a 5 minute walk from Universal, has multiple restaurants, and includes Free Express pass for everyone staying in your room. I'll be giving you a full detailed tour of the resort and a tour of their standard 2 Queen Rom. I will go over the benefits of staying here and give you my final thoughts at the very end. We love the Hard Rock! The five minute walk to the park + Express Pass for everyone in the room can't be beat, and the first time seeing that pool every time we go is like coming home. Love that you commented on the lobby smell! Haha. The resort is definitely lacking in food but we enjoyed the cheese fries we had at the pool bar.

The kitchen breakfast buffet is 🔥🔥 I stayed at Sapphire Falls and took the water taxi to Citywalk, then took the Hard Rock water taxi over to have breakfast there. 😊👍 10/10 would recommend

Good to know! We were there last year and they were closed for renovation. We cant wait to head there for breakfast. There is nothing like a good breakfast at the parks.

Gotta love how they give you the $100+ Universal Express Pass for free but charge $7 for a bottle of water! BTW did you know you can rent a fender guitar and headphones from the front desk? Super cool :)

Room service, ooh la la! I have never ordered room service at a hotel, only on the Disney Cruise. Great tour! I love visiting Hard Rock Hotels, but I have never stayed at one.
It was a fun bucket list item

This was great! Hopefully one day I will stay there. I wish you explained more of the Express pass. I think the shower head is changeable because it looks like it is the same one I have and it does change water pressure.

Hard Rock needs a lil renovation for the price I’ve seen lots of videos and I don’t love what I’ve seen. You are just like me with the throw pillows and top sheet. I take those off IMMEDIATELY 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Trying to decide between HR and Portofino Bay next December. We’ve done RP a few times now, but my kids aren’t fans of the pool (no slide). Having the worst time trying to decide, currently have reservations at both. Any suggestions?
I mean both are great and very different. It really depends on what you want out of the hotels. I have a tour of PB and if a slide is the main factor, then go for that. Keep in mind it’s a bigger resort, further away from city walk, but you have boat transportation, and you do have way more dining there. If you want closer, a smaller resort, and you like the theming, then hard rock.

Hi, on a one night Hard Rock Cafe hotel stay, do you get unlimited fast passes for the two days wrapped around your night or just one?
Yes you get both days!
Sup Demi! I’m by no means a hotel expert, however with this being a higher end hotel, I would describe it the same as your Outlet Sitch result, “It’s Aight”.

Look like a really nice hotel, but honestly? If they didnt give express pass probably wouldnt be worth it. I mean how often are you at the hotel when on vacation? Personally I just need a place to rest my head.
I also LOVE that you check out how many outlets, which I only really travel with my sister so there's only 2 of us I know we use at least 4 each (nnot including the bathroom) so this is very helpful!

Cabana Bay i´d have to say while I did get lost at my room, the Starbucks IS a full length starbucks (i think Last time i went was 2016) There was so much more things to do at Cabana bay, like the bowling Ali and the food. while it was just hot dogs and pananis it was pretty good for after theme park day. I would much rather go back to the Cabana Bay for the emenities, but the Hard Rock´s rooms look bigger as well as the pool. I personally didn´t use the pool, but to me it just looked better. so theres that. You should compare the two.
Both are so different! I LOVE Cabana Bay for all those reasons. And actually some Cabana Bay Rooms are bigger. The rooms that have circle windows are bigger. To me the best part of Hard Rock is the location.
