Keep in the mind,this method only useful if the rattling sound came from the cap of the racquet..If the sound of the rattling came from inside of the handle,the could be the wood chip inside of the bottom cap of the racquet..So,I'll explain it to you about this method,without using the lubrication (wd40/grease spray),the wood of the racquet handle would likely create friction..the surfaces of the crack will rub against each other..By applying lub/grease spray,the oil would help to keep the crack moist,therefore there would no friction..But keep in mind,do not use lub/grease spray too often..Only use it whenever you noticed the rattling sound..I hope this info would be useful to you👍
