I’m so excited to learn about this book series! I’ve put a couple on my wish list for Christmas. I read some books that were similar only they had main characters who were really into quilting. I can’t remember the author right now, but the books were so good. Looking forward to the crochet series! I love that you make hats for your students. That is just the sweetest gift I’ve ever heard of a teacher doing for their class. It truly shows your commitment and caring nature. I pray my grandchildren will have teachers like you….💖 -Brenda
The books sound like fun. I've read others with quilting, and I think knit for the theme. I agree with cotton you about washcloths and letting kids solve some of their confrontations. I’m reading the second book based on your recommendation. I got it for the pattern! The electronic book cost as much as a typical pattern these days so it’s win-win.
I’ve seen right handed videos and left handed videos of the same tutorials. Just an FYI. I don’t know how it’s done. But I think they just flip the videos and label them as left handed or right handed.

I'll remind you that one of your students may like the Baltimore Ravens (my team) and their colors are purple and black. So keep making purple hats 😂😂. I've read that entire series and it is one of my favorites. Betty Hechtman also writes a second series called the Yarn Retreat Mysteries.
