    So epic and beautiful... the reverberation sensation gradually progressing and climaxing together goes beyond words and worlds, thanks for the trip.

      Yes having CV velocity control is really nice!

    • @AntonNidhoggr
      @AntonNidhoggr 5 лет назад

      I love the mod slider on it. You can connect a mod cv to the erebus echo feed for example and slide right into madness (ps. crap, I forgot that erebus doesn’t have echo feed cv, but the method is useful anyway)

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад +1

      Yes I will definitely be experiment more with mod cv. It's probably worth investing in a mult module so I can affect even more parameters! :D

    • @AntonNidhoggr
      @AntonNidhoggr 5 лет назад

      RemixSample you can get a cheap ninja-star-like splitter. Works fine for me. And Keystep has a super comfortable mono-aftertouch as well. The only downside is that it can’t CV all these things at once. I’d definitely vote for Keystep Pro with more outs!

      Oh yeah! I forgot about that, I got one of those stars. Thanks for the suggestion!

    In my opinion the KeyStep is the best Small Keyboard on the market for it's price. More ports on the back that the average Keyboard on this price range.

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks! I used a Sony A5100 with a 50mm 1.8 sony lens. Most of my videos are recorded with a 50mm lens. Sometimes I use a Super Takumar 50mm 1.4 lens too

    • @DannyJamesGuitar
      @DannyJamesGuitar 5 лет назад

      @@RemixSample Ah, cool! The depth of field in your clips looks really nice! I've just got the Sony A6400, so I'm trying to figure out what lens to get with it for filming my RUclips videos... I love the bokeh you can get with the 50mm, but I'm concerned that it would be too zoomed in to use comfortably in my living room at home etc. I think I might try the sony 35mm 1.8 instead. Thanks for the info, really appreciate it. I hope you keep making these awesome jams too, you sound great!

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад +1

      Oh nice! I own that camera too. So my most recent videos are recorded with the A6400. The quality difference isn't that dramatic but what's nice with 4k resolution is that you can crop in on the footage and still having it look crisp so getting a 35 mm lens is probably a good idea. When I shoot with the 50mm it's a struggle to get the larger synth in frame. 50mm is perfect for the little Korg Volcas though!

    • @DannyJamesGuitar
      @DannyJamesGuitar 5 лет назад

      @@RemixSample Yeah, the main reason I went with the A6400 is that it apparently has less issues with overheating when shooting video. Otherwise, I'm sure I would have been happy with the quality from one of the older models. And yes, I agree that having the ability to crop in from 4k with the wider lens would be an advantage too. Thanks again for the info :)

    Please tell me, exactly how you did this? These are the exact sounds I’m trying to create but don’t have a clue

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад +8

      Ok the main ingredience in most of my songs here on RUclips are a short piece of synth music that I stretch out with Paul's Extreme Sound Strech and then I play something over that with a synth like the Behringer Model D. I always use Valhalla Shimmer to make it sound larger and more lush.

    it has really been inspiring watching your videos! thank you very much. I was wondering if you could pass on any tips for creating these lush backgrounds with Paul's extreme sound stretch? I downloaded it a couple of nights ago and my first stretched audio came out just so so (the audio I stretched was a 20 second long pad sample)but def not as nice as the ones I hear on your tracks. Do you just play a single chord in something like Omnisphere and then stretch that way out...or do you play a longer sequence and then just stretch it a little bit? What is the best length of sample to bring into Pauls? Is there any particular settings that you recommend when using the app? Any info you could pass on would be awesome :) thanks again. finding out about this app from you has been one of the best things I've gotten from youtube!

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад +3

      Hi Chris. I uploaded the synth chords I stretched. This is what it sounds like pre-paul stretch: dbr.ee/ITnR
      So a simple chord progression, some reverb and maybe a delay. Filters can come in handy! And you can record something sloppy out of sync and it will sound cool anyway.
      I usually use the default settings. If I change something it's to make the stretch 4x instead of 8x.

    • @ceejay642000
      @ceejay642000 5 лет назад

      @@RemixSample it was so helpful of you to upload that demo for me..excellent! So if I want to create a piece that is about 8 minutes I will export a 1 minute sample and then stretch it at about 8x with effects added to the sample pre-stretch..this is exactly the help I needed. thanks again!

    • @RemixSample
      @RemixSample  5 лет назад

      No the Behringer is only like 25% of the track. It's a pretty minimal track though with 4 different pieces of audio in total. And I use a lot of Valhalla Shimmer reverb.
