The Wonderous "" mother 32 "" Of course , and 16 synthesizers later is still my favorite !!!!! Jaffa jenkins dawless jams is my channel ,, id be honoured if youd take a peek when u get a chance ❤❤❤
You’ve got a real talent/gift/voodoo-hoodoo thing, not often I get genuine feels for this kind of thing but pretty much every track I’ve binged today has had a positive emotional effect on me, thank you..
I've been watching Mother 32 videos for weeks, this one is just now coming up but it's one of my favorites. I don't know why but I love the simple, soft patches. I think it really lets you hear the purity of the analog components rather than just noodling.
Let me compliment you such . I showed your video to my quite non musical wife...and justified why I bought the M32 ( I am not yet commercial through my musical works ). After your videos, she dropped arguing about unnecessary purchases !
That's brilliant . Well done and the fact that it's live is even more impressive. Totally impressed and I am a small time composer myself. I am giving you a standing ovation.
Really stunned by Your performance - it's so beautiful! Like a bath in light and warmth - thank You so much! By the way extremely effective use of the FX. Just bought a used Mother + DFAM.
And again...😃Sooo awesome!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😃😃😃i truely love these admospheric Dimensional Space Ambient sounds you create from these analogue synthesizers!!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎😎😎
What an amazing pair of kits you’ve got. And so rare. More rare every day. I had an SDSV kit back in the early 80’s, but after a handful of years I sold it to buy a Sequential Circuits Studio 440, which was Dave Smith’s predecessor to the MPC-60. So that worked out for me. … but I always wanted an SDS7 kit…. 😢
I was thinking about a DFAM, M32, and what else to fill out the rack. I think and extra M32 might be the answer. That sounded great. Thanks for sharing a lot of things, it's awesome af.
Happily, as a subscriber, I'm alerted to all of your new tunes! I like the idea of this being somewhat of a tutorial. But more than that it's a strikingly beautiful composition. As usual, we're graced with a sonic palette that sweeps us up and rushes us into a lush soundscape that unfolds before us as colorful vistas that are both strident and melodious!
that Valhalla Shimmer it's on another plain of existence it takes (it) the tone the frequency to cinematic epic trance levels you need to log book + graph all your sequencer jams so as to get perfect segways from one feel to another a kind of map of the sonic. for going from one landscape to another seamlessly, better than memory and luck. just a thought 🤔👍
Sometimes I wish I had a setup like this, so I could play with this all day. The only synthesizer I've ever touched..... actually I don't think ive ever touched a synthesizer. I'm just stuck with a DAW. Amazing live performance though! Valhalla Reverb makes everything sound epic.
Thanks! You could set up a similar template in your DAW. Load up two synths you like with separate effect channels and midi map the knobs on the synth to any type of controller. It's the exactly the same but it's close enough for a fun jam.
Thanks Nate! I saw that you asked about the reverb. I use Valhalla Shimmer. I also recommend valhalladsp.com/shop/reverb/valhalla-supermassive/ which is free!
@@RemixSample yeah I did, bit as soon as it sent the comment, I thought to check the description and saw you had it there. And yeah I just found out about the Supermassive last night! Fantastic stuff. Definitely subscribed to your channel now. 🤘
Great! It would be nice to have the whole process of hooking up with the Scarlett into the daw, midi, audio routing, etc. Also with other synth like the Volcas :)
Hey thanks! Well there is no midi stuff going on here (I forgot to unplug the cable). All the sequencing is done on the M32. So there is not much to show. Two cables going into the audio interface into two separate channels with some delay and reverb. There is a limiter on the master channel and that's it really.
Oh, okay! Thanks. What happen if you want to connect more than 2 synths to your daw as I believe you only have 2 inputs on the Scarlett 2i2? Do you have a separate mixer or something else?
There is a whole line of Scarlett audio interfaces ranging from 1 input to 10+. So I guess you invest in one with more than 2 inputs. Or you record each track separately and mix them together afterwards. You could use a mixer to if you wanted.
Some audio interfaces comes with midi connections. Check out the Steinberg UR series. Since the Scarlett 2i2 doesn't have midi connections I use a usb-to-midi cable that I bought from ebay for 10 bucks or so.
Excellent job here! I have a question, is it possible to control the transposition of a sequence using cv, sending the same cv to both mothers to have some key changes during the performance without having to do it manually? Can't wait to get my hands on it

The video that made me buy my first synth ❤ and still blows me away every time !!!! TIMELESS🥰🥰🥰
Nice! Thanks! Which synth did you buy?

This is a wonderful example of the type of music that I have been experimenting with and just love the flexibility of these Synthesizers.
Dude you are an absolute giant. The music you produce with the mother 32 is colossal. Keep it up
Thank you! :D
Such a beautiful sequence and ambient sound...I listen to this frequently. Thank you for sharing.
this is an awesome extension to those old and good albums from tangerine dream and klaus schulze. very very nice!
Thank you!

Yes I'm the same way. I really like these simple patches with a nice reverb.
Awesome!

Agreed! Masterfully executed piece of beauty!! 🥋
Ah, so nice.. makes me want another Mother 32... she is a beautiful thing
Deadly track . The softness is perfect and sense space is timeless.
Beautiful sounding melody. I literally have a playlist of sequencers. They are so fun.
The mother 32 sounds good on its own, but damn man. You’re really able to pull some very special sounds out of it. Phenomenal jam.
Thanks! I love M32 plucks!
RemixSample me too man. Some serious space stuff.

I love the sound of the analog synthesizer 🤓👍
As always... deliciously melodious and awe inspiring!
2024 and still amazing vibes! I've got the M32 as one of my first semi-modular synths, still love the sound and vibe.
I agree, it sounds lovely!
Thanks for sending me here, this was exactly what I was hoping for, wonderful track and loved watching you noodle while reading the notes. 🙏
No problem! Happy to help out!
Wow this is awesome. Wish you had continued, the ending was the most interesting part! Nice sequences.
Thank you =)

Selected of a few videos on modular synth and I'm left it on autoplay and this came back up I haven't played it for a long. It is very enjoyable.

Thank you!
The pad sounds are actually from the reverb? That's amazing. I've never thought of doing that.
Yes that's right! It's a very convienent way of creating pads. Just turning the dry/wet knob close to 100% :D
I love it !
absolutely gorgeous!
