NEVER get advice from Reddit holy shit. Look at story 2. Sure it was a really bad thing to say but clearly they MISSED HER. She ghosted them completely for weeks! Like I swear these people just never had a close family ever. Reddit's solution? Immediately go no contact at their first mistake. Even if they took care not to talk about Ava's baby when she was present. They just were frustrated she was a no show (who doesn't inform when they're an hour late? wth OP.) and said a mean thing just ask for an apology and be done with it. Holy hell.
