My copy arrived last week. Your two playthrough videos have been very helpful in understanding the flow of the game. Thank you for doing them! One point of clarification. I think once the USMC deck runs out, that's it. There's no re-shuffling the discard deck to create a new deck based on my reading of the rules. If we can't re-create a new USMC deck from the discards, then I get the sense that this will be quite a challenging game to win!
Thanks, glad they've been helpful. Check rule 7.0 (Victory) - it says the game ends when the Japanese deck is exhausted or the USMC controls all island positions. Since the Japanese only use 1 card per turn, this makes sense to me, as the Marine player would probably burn through the USMC deck in about 15 to 20 turns. That's based on how I played the USMC cards at least.
Happy New Year to you as well. Right now I don't have plans to do anything for Between the Boards. But, I am always thinking about other sports games to do and that one only had one video so it's possible I will revisit it at some point. I just don't have any current plans to do so. I will definitely have some sports game content this month.
