Any negative effects from having the bottom stock horn still installed as of yet? Some vids say that it could drain extra power but i didn't know if it were true
The only negative effect is after we removed the bumper recently we noticed some rust on the horns themselves. We'll be sanding then down and repainting before the upcoming winter
SheffieldCodes good to know! From having the Hella Horns on my old Legacy GT. .i noticed the paint being damaged from the rain and sun too. So i went ahead and applied a few coats of a high gloss clear coat over the existing red on my new Hella Horns before installing them on my new WRX. So far so good.
Would this work on a 2015 Subaru Impreza Limited? I have been looking all over the internet and could only find 1 plug and play connector but it does not look like it would fit the connection cable on my car. Is there any way that I could find out if it works on my car?
I'm unsure. You could try reaching out to the company. They will usually list all the compatible vehicles. Or try the forums and see what guys are running
We didn't have any check engine light turn on but we left the secondary horn that is down by the passenger side wheel plugged in. The hella horns plug into where the old horn plugged in.
Try connecting the hella horn to the alternate horn plug. The main factory horn has a temperature sensor. Disconnecting it causes the check engine light. The grimmspeed harness will not reach. I unraveled the alternate horn cable away from the lighting wires. After doing this and releasing one clip, it will barely reach. You can remove the alternate horn and main factory horn as well.
Nice video. Best one I seen yet
Thanks! 👍
We noticed a lot of the other videos on this were missing steps so we tried to fix that in our video
Took me like 1-1.5hrs. I took my time. Wasn't bad at all.
Watch atleast 10 vids, this is the best one hands down. Real life saver !!
Glad it helped!
I unknowingly bought exactly the same products for myself haha. Will be using this guide when everything arrives! Great video!!
Hope it helps you! And thanks!:)

Fuck those factory bolts. That was a nice 7 hours I'll never get back. Good video!
Idk why they are so tight. Glad the video helped 👍

My brother has not had any problems.

My check engine light is on now because I don't have anything plugged into what the original horn was plugged into. Is this a 2018 problem?
