Explanation is good but one question: how come a switch has both phase and neutral as you have mentioned? When that switch is turned on bridging phase and neutral, won't there be a BOOM 💥 due to a short circuit? It should be rather mentioned as IN and OUT of the switch and NOT phase and neutral. In the switch board the Neutral is provided only for the socket/outlet. All lights and fans actually get their neutral directly from the wiring and not through the switch board. Thank you for the nice demo.

In BT 160 model all the lights and fan can be operated through a single switch in the remote.At that point is the power supply to the unit is switched off?
Can you give the wiring diagram for the above purpose
