- In this video, we take you on two separate brook trout trips in North Carolina. I was not going to make a video for these two trips because they felt incomplete. After reviewing the footage I decided to put them together and create one video and here it is. Hope you all enjoy!

Such a great group of friends. Love watching these videos. And the one of your senior trip was a joy to watch. As a dad, I appreciate and enjoy seeing the bond of "brothers from another."
Loved the video as always....this was probably my favorite because the scenery was awesome and those brookies are gorgeous.....you guys ROCK 👍👍👍
Great video! I went to school at ETSU and spent all my free time in those waters. Nothing like a native!
Awesome dude. The quality of your videos is unreal. Can't wait for more.
Great job combining the 2 trips, made for some good viewing. I know that 2nd stream very well and it's tough fishing sometimes. Thanks for not mentioning names cause it's crowded enough around here...
Gauley guy 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ditto Michael. Yeah back 27 years ago you could go up there on a Saturday and there would only be 5 or 7 cars in the parking lot and nobody fishing it.
@@derekspace Ya this is one of my favorite streams, but I prefer much lower down. I have videos from this stream on my channel, and found lots of larger brookies here.
I see you found my favorite brook stream. Glad you didn't drop the dime. :)
Love your passion Scotty. Been back to work and haven't fished for two days. The struggle is real. Nice choice in music. Shane has a potty mouth!
Awesome Brookie bro. That's a lifetime fish in those waters. Nice score! Looking forward to the weekly series.
We need more content like this. I love the short bus diaries but these ones are the best.
Shoutout Gator he’s a great guide. Keep up the sweet vids
Bring on the Wild trout action! Love those brookies!
stoked for the weekly videos!!
awesome video guys!
Nice video man. Love them brookies. Look forward to seeing more videos.
Not trying to be a spamming jerk..lol. but thought you might like my channel if you like brookies. ruclips.net/user/BrookieBum
That is my favorite brook stream in North Carolina. I really like watching your videos and a Short Bus fan as well.
They are a pretty fish. That type of fishing is fun. Use to do a lot of that in upstate NY in the small rivers & creeks around ballston spa and Saratoga and glens falls
Looking forward to some great vids from u in the future! Good job. O and get the net! Lol
Great video man. Love the vids so much. Such a fantastic channel!
Dallas Trane thanks so much man
Good video guys. Thanks for not naming those streams. BTW, that was a really nice one for that creek. WTG!
Haven’t watched it yet but know it will be dope 🤟🏻
Love you and your friends video's! Great job! Some suggestions - how do you decide on where you want to go fish? How do you decide what flies to use where? Keep up the great stuff!
Keep the blue lining coming! Can't wait to see the hog that you hooked up with in next week's video.
These videos deserve wayyy more views. I’m a new sub and I absolutely love your content
beautiful scenery
Great video! New video every Sunday?! That’s going to be awesome
That second spot is one of my favorites. And there’s some monsters below the falls.
Nice one guys
It's actually quite funny, I'm from ma and love fishing near Ashville and I know exactly where you were on the second stream. I won't spot burn but I find it interesting that I've fished probably three places total down there and you picked the exact spot.
I don't wait for the videos to play anymore, I hit the "like" before I even watch 👍🏻
Great video guys. Well done as usual.. Can you tell me what rods & reels you were using? Thanks!
Nice video man!! We’res some good places to fish in Boone?
The second stream I love
You ever fish the laurel fork of the watauga up around Boone? Stayed at that flint rock campground recently and I was surprised at how well it fished
The Wandering Meadows oh yeah, great stream!
Good video! Thanks!
Wow, I would not expect brook trout fisheries like that in the south, no offense. I have some secret spots up in NH with wild brookies in unexpected places! tight lines, boys!
That second spot is one of the best.
When you need to be humbled, go to the graveyard lol
For real. Spooking fish 30 yards away with every step!!
Where was this hike? I would like to do it with a buddy and explore the stream as well one day after class at Clemson.
Do you guys have a N. Mills vid?
There's something special about fishing native Brookies In an ancient rhododendron Forest.
This was a good video. What show did you go see? Chased brookies last week in Eastern TN. Those both look like bigger water for brookies. Good stuff look forward to the summers production.
Tash Sultana at Pisgah brewing. Incredible show.
What weight rods are you using in this video?
How about tossing some micro streamers on those big pools in brookie waters?
That was one big native!
Awesome video! What kind of watch is your friend wearing at the 8:39 mark? Also, do you ever tie your own flies?
md3631 some amazon watch that was like $10
@@WildFlyProductions Cool, I have that same watch I think :)
What net were u using?
Also...what kind of camera do you use? I started a another RUclips channel, and do fly fishing films in Idaho...what kind of camera do you use and editing software? Your videos are inspirational man
Sony A7 iii and premier. Thanks for watching Dallas!
@@WildFlyProductions your awesome thanks man
love the content Scottie...so sick! I know you don't use GoPro's anymore but I got the Hero7 Pro and shooting 4k is power hungry in the backcountry/multi night trips. What were you using for power bank in the go pro days? Thanks dude!
What camera do you use ?
BCH production sony a7iii
I'm dying to try to find a good spot to catch a wild brookie up near my grandparents in Boone
High elevation streams have em almost always 👊🏻
@@WildFlyProductions thanks bro🤙👊
What are those?
Brook Trout
Crocs ;)
that video was too sick I want to see every trip even if it's not a full video
You fish North Georgia any?
I have not. The pellet fed private water fish don't really interest me.
@@WildFlyProductionsLMAO they're not all like that bud. We have some nice streams back in the mountains. I'm just getting into fly fishing but looking forward to trying my hand at it
@@WildFlyProductions Didnt mean that to sound rude. I really laughed at the comment cause I know where you're talking about 😂
Yeah I know haha. I know there are plenty of beautiful streams there I just honestly haven't been able to make it up that way with being in school.
It would probably make for a terrible story, you guys should come to north central/ western Ma and hit some historic eastern rivers like the millers, deerfield, and swift.
Or my favorite brookie brook Broad Brook in Pownal VT / Williamstown Ma. Nice mountain brook
WV?
Get off my fone
Nothin like hearing white kids cuss repeatedly 🤣🤣🤣
