Is Stihl KMA 200 R powerful enough to run Stihl HT-KM pole pruner with the Stihl HT-KM shaft extension attachment ? I know the Stihl KMA 135 R isn't powerful enough to do that while Stihl KM 131 R is powerful enough to run Stihl HT-KM pole pruner with the Stihl HT-KM shaft extension attachment.
Hi there, yes I’d say it definitely is. I was blown away by how fast it’s able to spin the chain when running the pole pruner. The one thing I would say however, is I did find on a couple of occasions it would get stuck if I was trying to re-start it mid cut. With that being said though, I’d say it spins the chain faster than any gas Kombi I’ve ran before! Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions I may be able to answer for you!
Unfortunately there is no direct data for horsepower. However, in comparing it to the KM 131R gas Kombi they both output 9500RPM and the 200R has instant torque output due to the electric motor compared to the 131R where the engine has to rev up to reach those same torque levels. Hope this helps!
