As mma fans, we need to make bad judging(specifically repeat offenders like Lee)a viral talking point. We gotta do it fight card after fight card until its too big a thing not to be noticed. I know it sounds a little naive, but I don't feel like egregious scorecards get enough hate for the ufc to care. We should have the same energy for a bad scorecard that doesn't rob a fighter as much as we do when it does. We can't ignore it and then cry when we get a Kara France situation.
Gotta say, Emmett looked really limited after the second round, doing the same thing over and over. Topuria didn’t really look to knock the guy out, he just kept composed and took the fight to the ground in order to secure the rounds. Josh really didn’t look like the veteran he is at all. Fun ass fight.
@@drake1896 I mean if you can't get KOs what then? It is a sport at the end of the day. The cringiest thing is the idea of completely losing sight of the fact that despite being "the closest thing to real fighting", you still have to win a sporting event somehow.
@GKJusticar55 amazing performance and fun fight, I just prefer fighters with a reasonable prediction. Topuria called for a round 1 ko, and basically just threw jabs that round. My point is just that i personally find it cringe that he stated he was aiming to knock him out straight away, when he was never going to do that. I am a fan of topuria, just not him making stupid predictions
@@drake1896 I was honestly thinking that Topuria was just saying that to goad Emmett into fighting his fight. He loses basically nothing from making that prediction: 1. If it happens your hype increases, 2. If it happens later you can say it happened later, 3. If it doesn’t you can compliment your opponent and look classy and still win, 4. If you lose, well, losing is by far a bigger problem.
