- Have you ever been somewhere really high up, and out of nowhere your subconscious tells you to jump? This unsettling sensation was recently coined the "High Place Phenomenon," but long before that, the French already had a term for this: "l'appel du vide." Which translates to "The Call of the Void."

I'm just 0:35 in, but the question "what if I jump" called a more then 10 years old memory, that I already forgot forever, but now I remember I had a similar scenario in my head, but it was with a lake and I was about 6 years old.

Such an interesting video, still watching. I use to have the urge to jump from the ferry boat as a kid. It was so odd and had nothing to do with wanting to end my life. Jerking the steering wheel as well. Thankful I never did either. 😬

Maybe I’ll celebrate still being here every Halloween. That’s a new thought. Thanks for the POV. Also just talking to someone you trust isn’t always enough sometimes they won’t see the signs even when they are staring them in the face. And if that’s your only lifeline your going to leave them in a whole lot of pain. Get professional help if you need it, you gotta save you sometimes for those who care about you the most……
