Singapore looks pretty at night with the fully lit ships in the harbour. The caption of the supermoon, the food and that soothing music on board. SQ 237 was my flight every time i choosed SIA. After a good night sleep at the York Hotel with a superb English breakfast. In the last years i flew with Qatar because they serve Berlin. This year in December i will book Emirates from Hamburg via Dubai. Let's see then. Singapore Airlines is still a top carrier. No question.

It was lovely to see Melbourne and surrounding area. I wish I knew you were coming as I could have stopped by and say hello. I live close to the airport. I also take my 3 year old granddaughter to watch the planes take flight or land, it is thrilling and beautiful to watch. Was it Woodlands Park where you saw the Kangaroos? Next to it is Living Legends where champion race horses go retire. There is a nice coffee shop there and also a look out for watching planes. I enjoy watching your reports - thank you! Interesting as I was just on one of the NH's flyingHonu's and I notice that the overhead compartments on the side are different in SQ's vs NH's. The compartments on NH open downwards when released vs SQ's. I did not realize there was an option. Looking forward to watching many more of your reports.

Going from a first world airport (Changi) to an outer suburban landing field (Tullamarine-Melbourne). What an experience.
Yep exactly, Tullamarine airport is a joke for an airport serving a city of over 5 million people. It hasn't even got a train line to the CBD unlike numerous much smaller cities such as Brisbane and Perth. I've transited through Sydney and Auckland which both have much more substantial airports than Melbourne in terms of their size.

Changi: I did not recognize anything. There is not much left of the aiport as it was in 1990. I do remember the tax-free bookshop where I bought several books about programming. I needed them for several years to come.

I always enjoy your flights. It's such a shame that you ended up over the wing and engines, the view's with a full window view are amazing, but with 2/3 filled with the wing and engines that was such a shame! Keep travelling and filming, and hopefully, in the future flight's we get incredible views?
To me , this is the best window view in A380
