I meet "Billy" and his girlfriend(she was considerably taller than him) in Orlando Fl some time around 2000 at a Winn Dixie. They came in shopping. The pair of them were the nicest folks you could meet. Talked for about 20 minutes right infront of the seafood case. I didn't ask for an auto or a photo, we just talked about Orlando, safe area's, local food places, ect. The rock star personification is just an act on stage. Keep on Rockin "Billy" !

Looking back now on all of his interviews, I can see that he is no idiot and that it was all an 'act'. Despite nearly wiping himself out, it's amazing he's still here. Think he sounds even better now than he did back then. And as for Steve Stevens....A M A Z I N G!!
Funny... when I met him at the Ojai Valley Inn I was working banquets and he was a complete d*ck. But he also checked in under the name Mr. Rude. I was stoked to have talked to him. Wearing a white suit, spiked hair. Full on Billy Idol mode!
He and Steve Stevens seem like such genuine, down to earth people. As I met them both in Ohio three days ago. However, billy idols security guard is a complete dick.

It's crazy how tight the band is. Idol can still belt it when he has to. They come prepared, and don't sound like burnouts running on fumes.

he's a phenomenal guitar player, I was lucky enough to see him live once with the Rock And Roll All Stars, he was amazing, by the time I didn't know much about him but that night my life changed
Steve Stevens is awesome. I've seen 4 of BFI concerts and Billy sounding better. If you have seen him live he will always go over to one of his amps or guitar sound boxes and adjust it to just perfect

There's Bon Jovi and Ritchie Sambora, which is no more. Then there's Billy Idol and Steve Stevens, who are still rockin' together. In my opinion in Bon Jovi's case, Jon Bon thought he was the prize and the Ritchie was irrelevant. His loss. In Billy's case, he knows he has a gem in Steve Stevens. And still going strong.
Guitar Center must pay really well, these performances from bands are 5star.
Good to see David Hasselhoff singing Billy Idol's White Wedding so well. He looks good here. I heard David was big in Germany for a minute. Glad he's still got his singing career going for him. Nice job on this song. Don't Hassle the Hoff.

Mr. Billy Idol . . . and to me, he's a centerpiece example of 'bad-ass' 1980's ROCK and ROLL!
If anyone thinks “White Wedding” or any other Idol songs are out of date or the typical 80’s sound, this live version of WW should put any of those thoughts to sleep. This rocks and holds up to this very day…6/19/23. And shame on me for not knowing who his drummer is (lifelong drummer here), but he’s absolutely solid and total pocket. Lays down the beat and let’s Steve and Billy do their thing. Speaking of Steve Stevens, he’s sooooooo underrated. One of the best ax men ever. Yes, ever. And this is coming from a drummer…we drummers love playing with great guitarists, not just bassists. In short, Billy still, to this day, puts on one of the best live shows, period. Billy live is money very well spent on tickets.
Who's doing the ratings? Every expert on rock music I've read about said Steven's is one of the best guitarists and melody song writers. You're reading opinions from the wrong people.

The first time I ever heard Billy Idol,it was Steve Stevens that captured me to enjoy his guitar work,he is an accomplished guitarist and I really enjoy his wavering sound.
