EMPTY Ryanair 737 MAX8-200 Newcastle to Shannon | April 2023

Probably one of the best flights you can get to yourself at the moment is the recently launched flight from Newcastle Airport across to Shannon on the west coast of Ireland.
Taking this flight on the 27th of April 2023 I was surprised to find I was one of only around 19 other passengers who were onboard the Ryanair Boeing 737 MAX 8-200 EI-IGH which was delivered new to the airline on the 10th of March 2023.
At only £9.99 for your own private Boeing 737 MAX this is a pretty good deal!

Splendid work fella, yeah its a shame isnt it when a route isnt busy. ATR size would be betterm but probably not as efficient as a max. ANyway enjoyed that matey. Cheers

YEs, it is a bran-new route. Bookable now until March 2024 at ryanair.com

This flight obviously doesnt have demand! It wouldnt surprise me if it doesnt get extended past its current cut off in 2024.

Apparently other flights have had more passengers. Amazingly they have extended it thorugh until next year,

Coming back to this, it appears I was correct. Considering how many ppl use Dublin flights it is mind blowing. Some more flights to Ireland, even if only 1x per week on an 800 would be great e.g Cork and Shannon
