- After visiting Pitlochry to ride Ben Cathro's test track, with Ben Cathro, I have been itching to get back and ride it again. I also wanted to see what other trails were available on the hill too.
Well this video is of just that.

The first trail had some awkward sections but the rest are all relatively straight forward thankfully. Ben Cathro’s track has alternative lines around anything that’s tougher 👍

Hi, Glad you liked the trails, it took me a long time to build them (the newer bottom section of totem and the last trail you rode, the new one next to Conans). I don't mean to be difficult, and I do enjoy your videos, however , it takes a really long time to keep maintaining the trails when they get hammered because people make videos and strava/trailforks segments showing everyone exactly where the tracks are. This results in the tracks taking more traffic than they can naturally handle (just look at Cathros track, which I also helped build, its now hammered). So my suggestion is that maybe when you go and ride at other peoples trails, at places where people aren't paid to maintain the trails, it would be courteous to the trail builders to not show everyone exactly where they are. Sorry for the moan, I dont mean to be a bore and I know trails get found, its part of the game, but now 10k extra people know where my trails are and i cant keep up with that level of maintenance.

I can’t and won’t argue against you on any of the points that you’ve made, as I completely understand.
I try not to share too much info on the trails when they are off a sensitive nature.
I unfortunately forgot on this occasion.
I have now removed my Trailforks and Strava info from the description to suit.
It’s a difficult situation for me, as loads of people come to the channel to discover places to ride, and when I refuse to give the locations etc to them, they can get unreasonably angry at me 🤷🏼♂️
Anyway, thanks for the work you do and well done for being good at it too 🤘

Looks like you guys had one heck of a day, once again the photographic clarity of your GP10 is excellent, even in low light. I am very impressed, almost as good as your riding apart from over cooking your speed into that wee jump.

Great trails pal some skeckie moments but you need at least one on a outing anyway so much flow it was amazing you carry speed so well well done great footage loving the slow Mo 😁👍

That last trail was amazing , could tell everyone was loving , so unexpected, Do those 800mm handle bars come with feeler gauges or cats whiskers haha some of those turns were pretty tight for sure,, , not for the faint hearted that’s for sure. , looking forward to some more seagull laughs later in the vids to come. . I avoided that drop when I was there. Blind run and just looked dodge. Done so much bigger but that put a ghost up me. Nice to witness what I avoided.
The drop is s actually quite straight forward, I just hit it too fast and ended up launching off a bump before it 🤦🏼♂️
Place looks unreal, that last flow trail looked different gravy 🤙🏼
The last trail is the one that’s got me wanting to go back already.

Ross did have to finish on a climb and Lewis was not amused lol Lewis did do the rock roll after. Will need to do that last trail the next time I'm up.

i actually said wow when you reached the top... what a view.., just wondered tho, is there anything you miss from the gearbox bike?
I do miss the extra suspension performance that the gearbox bike had because of the weight that was taken off the rear wheel. Also not having to even think about hitting a rear mech.
