I started taking self portraits because it was convenient, and I am very introverted. I continue to take self portraits because it enriches my life.

The concepts illustrated in this video should be in every young person's toolkit. I take that back. It should be in everyone's life toolkit. How can you know where you are going, if you don't know where you are now? Fascinating!
I suppose it doesn't have to be self portraits, but it is important to take time an reflect on things. A practice of self portraits for me has been such a big part of my life though, I can't see how someone wouldn't benefit from it.
As a teenager I took SO MANY self portraits, but I've basically stopped. I do itch to take more, and need to start doing it. LOVE this video as well. You rock!!

It always feels that way at first. I actually hated the first ones I did in this video with the glass. That's why I went back and did the black wig ones!
