When I first started a thought I needed crazy equipment to make lagers. That's definitely not the case. Pressure fermentation makes it so much easier for people to get started making lagers. Will it be a gold medal beer? Maybe maybe not. Will it be a great beer? Yes absolutely.
I'm an ale guy for the most part but nothing wrong with a nice clean crispy lager. I've got 3 lagers conditioning in my keezer right now 2 types Märzen or Märzenbier one traditional October fest the other a double Marzen. Both brewed in March looking forward to the leaves falling and the last one a Schwarzbier. Using black rice to make it light and crisp. That one should be conditioned and ready end of June early July it's sitting pretty at 4.8% should be good!
I enjoy stouts at times. My husband enjoy lagers. The Viking Malts sound interesting - Chocolate... Beer slushies sound good too! Congrats on your medals Shaun!!!!
Great video of a successful local craft brewery and a great insight of Viking malt flavor profile. Going to be using Viking Malt in future home brew competitions!

Enjoyed the video and larger tips.
Looking forward to a return to lagers.
Love to see you at Epidemic. My new favorite since Imperiale closed!!
Going to do another lager soon. Might have to check this one out.
It’s a great one, we think you’ll love it. In your X2, too! 😎🤘
@@MoreBeer_ true that!
Still love a great lager!
I've never heard of a beer slushy. Good thing they weren't around when I was young. The oatmeal stout sounds more my speed. Is it in a beer kit?
Love Epidemic, great video!
Cheers, dude! 🍻
Cheers
I think they should add a sour slushy, that sounds refreshing to me. HA, I honestly made the comment before the end of the video 😛
You called it!
Nice. 🍻
Awesome video
Glad you enjoyed! Cheers 🍻
Gonna make this a kit? Everyone I've tried brewed up well
