I have a meniscal cyst in right knee. It came after an injury while playing football in 2016. From that time till now, it has not grown. I try to rotate my knee to check if I have any symptoms of meniscus tear and experience nothing. But the cyst pains a little bit while bending at an angle and this irritates me. If i completely sit or squat then that little pain goes away. There is no problem in the range of motion. I regularly train my legs. What are you views on this?
If you and your cyst have maintained a symbiotic relationship then you can ignore but if you want it to be treated or get it better and less painful then we can try to achieve that with Arthroscopy cyst decompression and meniscus repair
How is it now do you go for operation or not….actually same happened with me while playing I got injured and I don’t even know about it after 3 months I saw a small inflammation and some irritation while squads and bending my knee please share you experience with this problem
@@lueesgoyal2081 I don't feel any pain now. I have strengthened my quadriceps muscles. While bending or running I sometimes feel a bit uneasy. Do stretching to strengthen your ligaments as well relax your muscles after heavy lower body workout. Use good foam like insole shoes for sports activities. Meniscal cyst is a common phenomenon these days. Don't take much tension.
Meniscus cyst is not a common phenomenon or else everyone will have parameniscus cyst. I happens only when there is horizontal meniscus tear which is a tear and that will lead to stresses on your knee cartilage and lead to early wear and tear of joint
Mostly surgery may be required but final treatment will be decided only after clinically checking.
