My sister recently purchased Scan n Cut 2 machine which we are (was) going to share. We both attempted to cut design we previously hand drew and scanned, several times to no avail. On the CM 350 machine you Cannot Scan using the 12" x24" mat; apparently that's for cutting only. We scanned the graphic on smaller mat hoping to cut it out using larger mat so we could get more than 1 graphic on fabric. The image we used is 4" x 10" so we thought we could cut out 2 at a time. When we tried to add/copy image again, screen read "not enough space on mat" or "mat not recognized". I changed mat size in settings but it still didn't allow duplicate image. Several emails between myself and Brother representative have not solved the problem; only frustrated me more than I already was. Owner's instruction book is a waste of paper because instructions having you bouncing from page to page instead of step by step instructions. I was so excited about this machine to use for my many personalized Quilting projects, but no longer feel that way. In fact, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS MACHINE TO ANYONE!
felt agrevied that brother should bring a cheaper updated model so soon after paying so much for mine it's definitely not worth buying one if they are updating them and are cheaper to buy !!!

What sewing/embroidery machine is that used at the end of this video? I'd like to get both of them if they work together well.

I feel for you. Machine is a total disappointment. Waste of money.
