Damn.... Game 2 was so close! It really did look like Guy Gold helped the team out with that misplay in left leading to a huge rally, but the 2 run HR that cemented the game off of his bat says otherwise. Tough loss. I didn't disagree with any of your moves and there is barely anything on the waiver wire to be able to do anything else. It's surprising that we are still in the hunt at this point, but it all comes down to the next game against the Crocs. Let's hope we are ready to go! Love to see the development with Action getting Fastball Hitter! I think when you get into the off-season, it might be a good idea to see if it makes sense to go tier 3 Disciplined for those hitting traits and potentially make Sakda Song even scarier! It just depends on what is available, but something to think about! Love the content as always!
@@Scootsie16 Yeah we had a chance to take this game from them with the sleeper agents on their team, but turns out it was all a setup from the beginning to stab the dagger in and twist it again later on. We definitely needed to make some changes as we want to be as fully rested as possible for the finale as we'll do anything to finish at .500 and also potentially steal a playoff berth. We'll definitely reevaluate the trait situation in the offseason to see what the best course of action will be. Man, game 1 was a dagger in our season! Not only did Sluggy single-handedly win the game for them, but Traq breaks his leg as well. It really couldn't get any worse in that game... To twist the knife while it's in us, they add 3 more former Dogs to face us in game 2. One of the biggest drawbacks to doing the default league settings is that you HAVE to play every game. This would definitely be a time to cut our losses and move on to the next season. Let's play spoiler now and see what we can do in game 2!
@Scootsie16 This game was definitely the dagger to our division title chances and felt like the whole season was going to collapse on us right there as Boomhauer had a great revenge game, the offense did nothing all game, and Statsman broke his leg in the first inning as one of our hottest players at the time. Then they bring in almost all of our rejects we dropped this year to be ready in Game 2 against us. We need to win that game to give ourselves the best chance to make it as a wildcard team. Also great start from Sawyer despite the lack of run support, he did his best to keep us in it we just didn't support him like we should've. #TheNastyOne
