Some advice for anyone that likes to set their friends up. Don't set them up on dates. Instead have a get together with multiple single friends if possible. If anything sparks, great. If not, you may have helped your friends make more friends. It's a win win either way, and saves your single friends the awkward date, or the refusal of the date.
YES 👏 I couldn’t agree more! This also allows people to sense whom they have a natural chemistry with in the room instead of trying to force it with one chosen person.
I think as long as it's kept as a small get together. Maybe a game night or small dinner. It would give everyone a chance to talk without all the pressure of a ton or people or it being a date. Then you should also be there so even if they don't vibe with each other it's still you and your friends hanging out. Like you said, a win win.
Him being an hour and a half late does not equate to paying for her kids meals. He's right that their dad, or whomever is taking care of them at that time, will be paying for their meals. Like you said, she shouldn't have tolerated waiting for him more than 30 minutes without him contacting her to explain why.
Maybe she waited because she was just in it for a free meal at that point. She might not even have a kid, she may have felt entitled to two free meals for waiting so long.
@@phaedrapage4217I’m wondering in this day and age why she didn’t phone her date asking if he was on his way. And did you see the pile of dishes in front of her?
Make that 15. If a guy doesn't call me to explain why he's late BEFORE the agreed upon time he's already in deep trouble. If I'm already on my way or at the agreed upon spot before he lets me know he's gonna be late he has 15 minutes after the agreed upon time. After 15 minutes I'm gone and he probably doesn't get a second chance. It's a matter of respect. I'm gonna be there on time to not waste his time so he better be there on time too. 5 minutes late max.
She has the right to be mad, however, he does not have to take care of somebody else’s kids. That is her responsibility as the mother, and frankly, it has nothing to do with the fact that he was late.
She can be mad all she wants but she only makes herself look foolish. Who waits for a date when their an hour and half late? Desperate losers, that’s who
When I was a single mom, I rarely dated but there's no way I'd wait that long because that's an extra hour and a half beyond what I planned for the date and I was paying a sitter for all that time he thoughtlessly wasted. No, he shouldn't pay for her kid's food and any good mom would make sure their kids were fed before the date, or she leaves food for her kids (and the sitter, if she's thoughtful). I also told my son how long I'd be gone so he knew when to expect me to return, and I'd stick by that unless there was car trouble or something unforeseen. Asking him to pay for 1.5 hours of babysitting would be fair IMO, but not a steak dinner. One man that scored major points for me was the one who brought a small gift to the date... for my 7 year old son! I had mentioned that my son loves Legos and anything space related. He brought him a Lego kit to build a little NASA space shuttle! I think my now 31 year old son still has it. I probably should have married that dude.
It reminds me of the woman who tossed the McDonald's into the street that 1 of her baby daddies brought for HIS kid, because he didn't bring enough for HER other kids too. My mom taught us if u can't share it, don't show it. But these women were wrong. But it would've been better had the dad took his son to McDonald's. Feeding him AND spending time with him.
For the lady waiting an hour and a half for that guy to show up. She definitely should have just left, but she shouldn't go around trying to ask the guy to pay for food for her kids because they're not dating that far in for the guy to have responsibilities to take over another person's. On top of that you even heard the orders that she was trying to make did not sound like they were appropriate for 8 year old or younger kids sounded like she just wanted to have an extra meal. Shame on him for being late and not contacting her to let her know, shame on her for trying to get extra food out of this guy
She waited that long because she wanted free food she would of waited all night to feed her kids. I get the feeling that this isn't the first time she has done this. 🇬🇧👍
@@Puppylove82-gv3gm There have been so many fake or prank videos, I now assume that most are things that never happened IRL. The one yesterday for example with the guy claiming to be a lawyer. There was nothing believable about his story, especially after reading comments from people who know who the guy is and that he's a comedian who admits that his stories are fake or they happened to someone else. However, I understand that there's only so much content out there that's "real" so to be able to provide us with so much daily content, she has to go with what is funny and/or interesting to entertain us whether it's staged or not. Charlotte is _always_ entertaining so I just enjoy the laughs and don't worry too much about whether it really happened or not since there's a good chance that it happened to somebody out there!
What is food not appropriate for 8 or younger? By that age, kids are on solid food and can cut meat themselves. Give them shellfish and teach them how to crack it. They can eat anything.
She waited an hour and a half so she had a 'justification' to make him buy her kids' food. If he'd shown up on time, she would have had to either go without or finesse it. 😅
He's wrong for being so late, but why did she even bother waiting 90 min for this guy? I can understand being upset, but SHE decided to stay. She doesn't have the right to demand that he buy food for HER kids. The server needs to be reprimanded or fired for trying to add on charges when the one that's CLEARLY paying is refusing to pay for added food.
also why was her kid there? i get it tough for single moms so i’m not knocking her for bringing him but at the same time that could be super dangerous if the guys a freak or something. also why are you waiting with your kid for so long?? like clearly this man doesn’t respect your time, take your poor bored kid home & leave that man in the dust!
@Kayla-rd5jd I've seen a long version of this video, and she has at least 2 kids at home while she's on the date. Explains why she asked for 2 additional steak meals. Still, she needs to make sure her kids are fed and taken care of prior to this date, which could go on for several hours. Her 100% responsibility, 0% for him.
If someone waits an hour and a half for a late date it's because they ordered several drinks and maybe an appetizer and have ZERO dollars to pay for what they've already ordered.
As someone who has met many kinds of questionable people, I felted she just waited that long to guilt trip him into buying food for her children. When someone invites you to dinner they want to pay for YOU and nobody else. Also, waiting one hour and a half for someone on a blind date? I dunno, Most people I know leave after 15 - 20 minutes. It all just feels suspicious to me.
I'm sorry but absolutely not You're right I'm a mother of five and now I've been in a 12-year relationship if I were to start dating One there's no way in hell I'd be bringing any of my fucking kids to a date unless I absolutely had to in the person was okay with it two if I'm sitting there waiting for you and my kids hungry I'm going to fucking buy my kids some food not sit there and wait for you to get there and make you pay for my kids food that's absolutely ridiculous I would have got up and walked out.
Turning up 90mins late is definitely bad, but honestly I get the impression she would have expected him to pay for the kids even if he had been on time.
I'm going to reverse it unless you are actually talking to me tell me you so sorry I'm late I'm gone after half-hour to 45 minutes and there's no way I'd expect my date to pay for food for my kids even if I wait 90 minutes for you
Right? People with anger issues and aggression don't just get magically fixed because you start a relationship. Someone like that will explode and lose their shit over the most random things, because they've typically been bottling their emotions and the recent crisis is the straw on the camel's back. My dad is like that and my mom and sister would push me into the line of fire to try to diffuse the already exploding bomb. In a real crisis situation people like that typically explode, lose it, then walk away, leaving you with the aftermath.
I told my friend that if her husband has some nice and decent single friends, feel free to introduce us. Her husband's response was that while his single friends are nice, they aren't decent enough. He's a good dude, I'm happy for my friend.
I told that to my friend once. He was like, "Hey, set me up with a nice friend of yours." I had to tell him, all of my good friends were taken, and the single ones.....I would not. I just would not 😅
That is the funniest date story I've ever heard that guy setting up a date with another guy that's got to be the funniest crap I've ever heard in my life
The last girl, I get her reason for wanting her friends to check in on her and can respect it. But them staying for the entire time would literally kill any feelings that might of happened. Now if they came and stayed for 30 mins or so and then left that would of been fine.
Yeah also she's overreacting claiming he "roasted" her, he was just very honest and didn't call her any names or anything 🤷🏽♀️ I can't understand why she didn't just ask her friends to leave or at least sit somewhere else lmao
Yeah, they could like come by and chat for a moment, then after a bit they should have been like "oh well you don't seem like a murder lol, we'll leave you to it!" Nothing wrong with them checking up, keeps you safe and it's probably nice to have them meet your friends, since that'll probably tell you a lot depending on how OK they are about it, but them staying is weird
As soon as she demanded he pay for her kids food, he should have just payed for his own meal and leave 😅 Being that late for a date sucks - they could have just reschedule over the phone -but she wanted to get herself and her kid fed -that's why she waited 😅
Exactly a date lasts longer then an hour and a half too if ur lucky and vibing. I think she said she’s full here that’s why he has to pay 😂. Girl must date for dinner haha
Yup! The second time she said it, when she refused his no, he should have gotten the check for his and hers, paid it and left Or honestly not even pay for hers, with that attitude, I wouldn’t blame him
I absolutely love that Charlotte talked about getting set up with Mike a year ago, and now they are engaged!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖💖💖✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ I am so damn happy for the two of them and hope that they can work through every weird situation, newlywed squabble, and grow closer together as they experience the ups and downs of life together!!! I went on a blind date I didn't know was a blind date. Later he asked me to go on a real date and I said no. Well I felt bad and I called him back. He already sold the tickets, but he took me out anyway for a real date. Will be married 32 years November 9th!
She stayed because the plan was for her to have him pay for the kids meals regardless. Him being late made it easier for her to do. Also we don't know if he informed her that he would be late and she could have said "it's ok, come through anyway, I'll be here"
I had a blind date once with a stalker. The girl had been stalking me for several weeks. She found out where one of my buddies'wife worked then got a job there just so she could befriend the wife and get her to introduce us. The blind date was at my buddy & his wife's house. It was two days later when she tried to run me over with a car in front of my job that I found out she had been stalking me for weeks. Note, we were not intimate at any time-- not even a kiss. I had just broken up with someone a few weeks before and after talking with my boss that particular day when I got to work from school. The boss was really alarmed by how the girl had been there that morning so I walked out to her car when she pulled up and asked the girl about it, then I told the girl I just wasn't ready to date anyone right now. She backed up and tried to run over me. The boss called the cops and it was a mess. She later pled her case to my sister at sister's job one night hoping she would intercede on her behalf . About 2 months later she just disappeared. I found out she found some other guy in another town to stalk and moved next door to him. And that's the only blind date I ever went on. Anyone else offered and I said no.
sorry u went thru that but i hope u dont give up on finding true love, some people are just crazy out there, u just have to dodge a couple bullets and the wait till be worth it :) best of luck in the future lolol
My sis always tries to set me up with every random single woman she meets for five minutes. It's usually something like, "hey i met this really sweet girl at work...she's sweet, nice, Christian, tall" etc. Her intentions are pure but usually her conversation generally ends with some version of "you're both pathetic and lonely. Perfect match right?🙄. Sis even invited one of these women we'll call Amy to a family birthday party as a guest. I got mad because i felt ambushed at an intimate family gathering(Sis never mentioned she would bring Amy as a guest). I ignored Amy completely and spent the day outside fixing my brother's car. This is quite possibly the rudest thing I've ever done. I did apologize to Amy for being a jerk a few days later because I felt terrible. I never heard from Amy again, and my sis never mentions her in passing. Guess Amy decided it best to stay away from the crazy people. Thankfully, Sis has mostly stopped trying to match me with every rando she meets.
As a past restaurant server, dealing with people squabbling over who pays for more items being ordered, the simple answer is you ask if either are willing to pay for the extra steak and they both say no, there's not another steak getting ordered, the end.
My best friend (F45) went on a blind date set up by her coworker, I was her standby just in case phone call, I called her 30 mins into the date to give her an out if she needed. She told me she had immediate left and was texting frantically her cousin (F43) that her blind date turned out to be the cousin’s HUSBAND. Naturally the cousin and cheating husband divorced. And the cousin and my best friend have never been closer.
Holy shit what a wild ride that comment was! I'm so sorry to the cousin but that is hilarious! A married man wants to cheat on his wife so he goes on blind dates? The moron deserved getting caught!
Yo, Thank you for gifting us with several of the most , iconic, all time songs. The memories jamming to your records are a beautiful childhood / teenage memory.
You gave 2 reasons why people would be single at an older age, but here is a third boat that I am in: I never had any interest in dating and relationships whatsoever, and there is nothing wrong with that!
Or this one.. I choose badly so I am 51 and has been single since 2013.. This means I nolonger get beaten up because I Can fix shit in my House myself or being mentally garbage because he wants multible women.. I am 51 and happy as I am not afraid if I will live til tomorrow … I am not taking anymore chances and I am happy.. Being alone/single does not mean lonely 👏🏻👏🏻🤩🌞
The guy in the first story reminds me of a Door Dash driver that got pissy with me because he claimed I didn’t give good directions. I gave a whole paragraph of instructions and I sent him pictures of the entrance so he knew where to go. I even sat with him on the phone and tried to talk him through it. I had to take time out of my work day just to have this dude try to pick a fight with me at my workplace. I order food so I don’t have to leave my security post.
@@fndmntl5341 oh boohoo, you know what i do when i get called to a place i haven't been yet? i'm putting it into google for directions (and also to check ratings and pricing tbh) and if there is a discrepancy i'll check back with the other person if that's the spot. it's not like she gave him a wrong address intentionally, it's an honest mistake. but that escalation was absolutely uncalled, highly immature, and could easily have been avoided if he accepted that he does indeed live in the 21st century.
My middle son (he's thirty, has a PhD in music) went on a blind date to "help a friend" The friend went to secure a table for dinner, leaving son with the ladies. He offered to get a round of drinks, and was on his way back to the table. He heard his date say to her friend "He's a slob. He didn't bring me a gift". His friend came up, my son handed him the drinks, and said he was done. He wanted to know if he was a jerk for leaving, and I told him no.
Absolutely not a jerk. They’re just entitled and should have just been happy someone gave them a chance to begin with. Also a gift? Who tf brings a gift on a blind date? Lol. I’ve never heard of such things.
Buy her a gift? I may have been out of the loop for many years but buying a first date a gift has never ever been a thing. It's blatantly obvious why she is single, and why she always will be!
I had a dating profile and made it very clear that I am 5'10" tall. I didn't care how how tall my dates were (my "one that got away" will always be a jockey who raced at Del Mar California 🥰🔥), but I'd had enough men react negatively to MY height to know I wanted to avoid more of that crap. So I met a date at Chevy's in Portland OR where I discovered that all of his teeth were a horrible shade of dark gray and that he was bald under his baseball cap, but I figured I could muscle my way through one date, pay for myself, then leave without hurting his feelings. He apparently did not feel the same. At one point when I was coming back from the restroom, a server stopped me and said I really should leave because my date was complaining loudly to anyone who would listen that I was a giant of a woman, a total Fiona Shrek, far too tall for a man of his discriminating taste. I didn't return to the table; the hostess got my portion of the check for me, I paid for myself, and I left.
That’s crazy. Props to that waitress and the hostess for giving you the heads up and letting you pay without having to interact. Not that anything would excuse that guy’s behavior, but 5’10” isn’t even that insanely tall, and tall women are beautiful. I’m 5’9” and wouldn’t be mad if I had a few more inches of height.
Exactly! Males love to complain about women having height standards when I've never met one single woman who would only date men of a certain height but almost every man I've met wouldn't date a woman who is taller than them or even the same height
Why on earth is that considered tall ? I live in Belgium, I'm 5ft11, nobody ever complained about height. Maybe where you live just has butthurt men with tiny fragile egos 😅
@@aurora8749I am shocked by these stories. I am 5’4. So clearly not many men are shorter than me. However, I wear the highest heels I can walk in, just so I appear taller. I always believed women look so statuesque and ethereal when they are taller. I can’t believe any man would find a tall woman unattractive. To me that would be like a woman complaining that a guy is too rich. Lol.
This makes me so happy I never did any blind dates. 😂 I watch way too much true crime so I could never agree to one. But these make me glad I never took that chance bro. Haha
Is it really considered nosey when the waiter has no idea what there supposed to do. The girl is saying to go but the guy is saying to stay, of course there going to stay around since they don't know how many checks or who's paying for what yet since the two keep fighting over it
Charlotte this video was even better than the last one! Love the little in between pop ups and characters! Hilarious! This is how I am dealing with life from now on: realizing we are all going insane (some more quickly than others) as I predicted in the late 1990s with the information revolution and that I needed to NOT take anyone serious anymore
And are her friends ninjas? What could they have done in the situation that the lady couldn’t have done? And what if she put her friends at risk? Look I’m sorry if I’m showing ignorance. I’ve been thankful to not have been in her situation.
If I was that man, I would’ve totally thought I was being used to pay for a girls night. Also, Im trying to put myself in his shoes and I could only imagine how awkward it would be to say that “I’m not gonna pay for your friends” and to avoid conflict, I would just pay for them. He was right
i find it hard to believe that a restaurant, bar or venue is so small that her 2 friends couldn't have sat somewhere else and "observed" from a distance.
I believe that the review was pretty accurate. I have a tagged along on a lot of dates with friends, mainly for safety reasons, so I can understand her reasoning for wanting others there. That being said, I think if you are going to invite other people to the table with you, you need to check in with the date first and do it in a way where they are not pressured to let your friend(s) sit with you, even if they does not want them to.
My friends keep telling me that I'll meet someone soon, or they've found the perfect date for me, that we'll hit it off so well, and that I'd be much happier in a relationship. Here's the thing: I am WILDLY happy being single. I haven't been single for like 17 years and now I finally get the whole bed to myself, watch whatever I want, stay up as late as I care to, eat ice cream for breakfast and not be called weird... And, beyond all that, my life isn't complicated anymore. I'm free to do as I please. 😊🍨
I was single for 4 years (I tried to go for 10 but whoopsies) and there is something freeing about only worrying about yourself and focusing on only yourself. Can’t look for a relationship just to avoid being single. Especially when so many of us have so much to work on and explore
What kinda relationship were you in that didn't allow you to do those things? Congratulations on being happy being single but no relationship should make you feel trapped my fiancee lets me eat ice cream in the middle of the night he actually bought me some on a night I was having an anxiety attack.
@@Autheil I think that when you’re in a relationship you make lots of compromises. Personally I hate going out and getting up early but my partner loves taking me to dinner and getting our shopping done in the morning so that we can relax at home and not rush. If I were single I would be a hermit and rushing to get my errands done past 5pm. I love him and do my part to make things easier but that’s love. When you’re single you only have to worry about doing things your way. Being in a healthy relationship I don’t miss being single but I also remember being very happy while I was single since I only had to think about myself. It’s not bashing in either lifestyle. It’s about feeling gratitude for the benefits each life style has whether single or in a relationship.
Charlotte, she only stayed and ordered the food because he’s Scrappy. He’s a famous rapper. If it was a regular guy, she would have left and blocked him. She’s trying to use him for his money and status. What woman in their right mind would stay for an hour and a half for anyone but a rapper? She would and try to get her kids fed. That worker should be fired. She needs to mind her business and do what this man says he will do with his money.
Honestly, I think someone commented earlier hit it on the head....shame on him for being an hour and a half late, and shame on her for expecting him to pay for food for her kids. She also has no sense of slickness or creativity. What you do if you want to bring something home to your kids (or anyone at home for that matter) is you order something you KNOW the kids will want, eat a little and box it up. DUH 🙄. Lol I know this because whenever I go out to eat I ALWAYS bring my mommy home food because she's disabled and she doesn't get to go out anymore.
Makes a bit more sense as to why she was so desperate that she'd wait 90 minutes for her date to arrive. Some people will do anything for 15 minutes of fame or free shit.
The guy in the second video honestly was being so patient. If your date is late for whatever reason demanding that they pay for you and your kids who he hasn't met is straight up delulu. She should have just left tbh.
11:30 i actually wrote a college level paper about how music is good for us and makes us happy. music triggers the release of dopamine so music makes us happy which is why there is so much “hype” about music
Not a blind date but the reason I don’t really take dating apps seriously lol: so was on a particular app a few years ago, started getting ready for work and had about 20-30 mins before I had to leave when a guy messaged me. So I was basically done getting ready so I responded and after a few mins into the conversation I realized he was avoiding answering the question “what do you do for a living?” So my immediate thought was: are you a Batman super villain? Why isn’t he answering this question? So I directly asked him why he wasn’t answering (like not even just giving the field) but he ended up deflecting and when he found out I’m doing my PhD he had an entire emotional meltdown saying I’m just “in it for money” /after a relationship for money and that I’d, this is literally a quote, “judge him just like his dad for dropping out of university” I was like ummmm university isn’t for everyone and then ended the conversation and blocked him EDIT: I did find out that he was fully trained in a Trade and owned his own business which made this conversation even more off handed
@@Firedrake1313 yeah I hope so too and that he could maybe have a conversation with his Father .... it turned out that he actually was fully trained in a trade and owned his own business
That's a shame, because most men don't care what you do for a living. I mean, as long as you're doing something. I don't have an extensive dating history, even spread out over 50+ years...or maybe in spite of that. I've dated fellow restaurant workers, a co-worker in a factory I worked in, a psychologist, and finally, my now late wife, who worked for the Department of defense. Oh, I did briefly date a woman who was really well off. Highly educated, smart as a whip, nearly model gorgeous (I'm a 5 on a good day, in case you were wondering), some kind of researcher. Didn't care about what any of them did, though I was always interested in their stories from work. As far as I know, most guys are like that, not like your app date.
I had a blind date with a crazy dude. I was 22 and this guy took me to the movies. I totally forget what movie we were seeing. Anyway, the commercials started and there were two people sitting in front of us. The theater wasn’t very full either, those people didn’t need to sit in front of us, but that’s beside the point. So they were talking and got to laughing. My date got so angry and kicked the seats in front of us and told them to shut up. I was in shock. Who does that and wow!! This was our “first date.” Right when the movie started I said I had to use the bathroom. I left. The funny part is I had picked him up so he needed to call someone to get home. Blocked his number. So gross.
I guess he means google maps. But you know what we did in the 90's? We asked passers by - or went into the nearest store to ask people. We still did not get mad at the people we were meant to meet...
OMG you’re so cute Charlotte the banana in his hand was his thang thang!! 😂. And why did he have a banana lol just the way you said that so innocently has me dead ☠️
LOL...friend knew exactly what they were doing.....both k and a need to pay the friend back by messing with them ,,,,oh we discovered we both like bananas ...silly little texts to the friend ...lol
I had a friend drive a whole hour to go on a date with me in case the guy was a serial killer. 16 years later, that guy and I are still together and have a kid. It probably did help that we hung out with some of his friends too. Safety in numbers though.
I’ve been “the single friend” (because of extreme pickiness for only strong feelings…so I couldn’t repel more the idea of friends throwing their supposedly “good match” at me expecting to cure me of my diehard belief in “only true love matters” lol) for most of my 20s and let me tell you this: NOBODY likes being “set up on a blind date”, it’s just awkward because it comes with the expectation of being there exclusively and explicitly to “spark” something up and it feels forced. Instead what you can do for your single friends is throwing a party or something similar and invite them all, this way they can interact normally, naturally and without any expectation forcing their behavior. Plus if it’s multiple people they can test the water with everyone at once. Note: I found my true love at 29 exactly like this.
My blind date story is that my shy friend and I were out when she saw a guy she liked, so I approached him, did most of the talking, and got his number for her. I figured my job was done lol. The next week, she asked me to hang out again, but as we were approaching our destination I saw that same guy and another out front. At that point, she was like, "Surprise! This is a double date!" I wasn't thrilled, but I didn't want to be rude, so I said hi to both of them and we went about our date. At first, I thought my guy was shy because whenever I tried to talk to him he just looked down and mumbled so I couldn't hear his reply. My friend saw that things weren't going well, so she tried to encourage conversation by asking him a question. He spoke up and gave a reply... in French, a language I am not fluent in. He didn't seem to speak any English so I spent the rest of the afternoon trying to chat with him in my extremely broken French, and counting the seconds until I could leave (my friend drove). Even as I tried to talk to him in French he would only give two-word answers and never make eye contact. We eventually fell into casual silence which was fine for me, until he looked up at his friend we were with and said in perfect English, "Hey, I'm gonna take off. Are we still on for going to the gym tomorrow?" my friend and I were stunned, but his friend just casually said, "Cool, see you then." We never saw either of them again.
What the actual f**ck 😭 Why???? I see no reason for them to do that, that’s super weird. Did they think that talking in French would be like something hot? Was it a dare? Bro I’m so confused 💀
@@Jo-er6tw I know! It was super weird. The worst part is that since the region of Canada I was in had a lot of people who spoke French as a first or only language. I never questioned it. Lol
@@alyssakennedy8894 In an alternate universe: A guy was out and some random girl and her friend approached him and this girl did most of the talking and got his number for her friend. The friend managed to persuade him to come on a date next week but she suggested to bring a buddy and make it a double date. The guy asked his gym bro to do him a solid and come to a double date cuz he was interested in this new girl he had met recently, he didn't have to do much, just show up. Hell, if he's not feeling it he could even speak French cuz this was happening in a region of Canada where a lot of people speak French as their first or only language. Still weird, but there's two sides to every story and if the fictive version above is close to the truth from the other side than things happened the way they did because some people were 'dragged' into that situation and they didn't want to be there, but y'know helping out is what friends are for so might as well.
I knew a long time ago that friends have no freaking clue what type is actually YOUR type. A girl who was practically a stranger ended up setting me up with my now husband. It’s so weird but friends have ZERO clue and I don’t know why.
Fun fact: Back when I was living in Brazil I did not have internet access all the time since it was expensive, and also having your phone out is a big 'nono' cuz its not safe enough for that most places. So what I would do is google map search BEFORE leaving home and screenshot or take pictures (if I did on the PC) of all the info I might need of where I am going. If I had the wrong restaurant like this guy, I would have asked the person to pick me up or tell me how to get there from where I was. BUT AGAIN, HE IS IN A SAFE PLACE TO USE GOOGLE MAPS. WTF PS: Never raise your voice over such small things. Not worth your stress or causing someone else stress. Explain your situation instead.
It’s the raising your voice that is a huge red flag. Getting lost together and working it out is already breaking the Ice. Yelling at someone you barely even know is just crazy
I also got lost on my way to a blind date, ended up at the wrong restaurant, the guy had to share his location too... And I'm not very good with directions or Google Maps, which is actually a running joke amongst my circle of friends. Blind date and I had a very good laugh about it later, though! I mean, it's a simple mistake, not a huge deal. Why people have to be so dramatic about it is beyond me. 😂
The first girl's first mistake was agreeing to go on a date with a lawyer! Dated two lawyers in Toronto (one guy, one gal) and my GAWD they were both nuts!!!
In the second case , i think the woman should have left after half an hour rather than waiting for one and a half hour and getting the date to pay for her meal and kids meal as well . I don't know but it reeks of entitlement on her part though nothing excuses the man for coming to a date one and half hour late .
Yes, they honestly just both suck. Like why are you 90 minutes late? Absolutely not! Paying for your kids meal? No thanks? Also has nothing to do with being late, what's the correlation there? Weird af. She should've just left. They both suck and seem entitled.
She probably didn't have money to pay for herself or her kids because she was planning to pay for everything all along. If he showed up on time, she would've said "OMG, I forgot my wallet ..."
@@jazznpercyYep, I had that same feeling that she was going to manipulate him into paying for her kids’ food even if he showed up on time. That’s why she waited so long and didn’t leave.
I don't disagree, but! My sister went on a date one time and the guy was late. Like, 75 minutes late. He was cute, she was feeling it, w/e, she decided to wait a bit longer and they were keeping in touch - he was basically texting every 10 minutes about the traffic and how there was an accident and just traffic things (TM). Ended up waiting over an hour because - cute and keeping in contact the whole time. She got to about 1:15 hours when he finally made it through the door, just as the restaurant was closing. So he basically strung her along with a bunch of reasonable-seeming excuses as to why he was late. But wait, it gets worse! He offered to cook her dinner back at his house, she said okay since she knew he lived with his sister and he said she'd be there. Ya'll... he lived down the road. A 5 minute walk from the restaurant. She thought it was odd but figured he'd been at work and drove to the restaurant from there. Met his sister, he started cooking - 2 minute noodles. Sis didn't care, she likes noodles and was hungry. While he cooked, Sis made small talk with the sister and learned that he'd been there the whole fucking time. No drive, no car, no traffic, no accident. He was gaming the whole time! Strung her along for over an hour, acting like traffic and shit was going wrong the whole time! She didn't go out with him again. That said, her now-SO was late to their first date by 2 hours but that was actually because of an accident he got caught up in and had to go to the hospital for. She went to meet him there, brought him some take-away and they've been together ever since.
I got set up for a blind date once. I was a teen it was a funny idea and I just rolled with it even though I barely knew the person who was setting me up. It wasn't like a typical date because we didn't go somewhere just us, there was a teen club basically that had a dance floor and DJ and pool tables and all that stuff just didn't serve alcohol. I would go every week and the date was just another week at a place I was already planning on going to. I knew a ton of people who would go there and they were more part of a newer crowd but they also knew some people there. I find out like 5 minutes before the date is gonna start that the original person they had in mind to set me up with wasn't available and they had to get someone else so they weren't gonna match the description I got. I didn't really make any expectations nor was I about to leave cause things were slightly different, just kept an open mind. Still to this day I don't what magic spell was cast if that was just insane chemistry or if it was the blind date and open mind combo. But we definitely clicked. Turned into one of the best relationships I've ever had. Before the night was over we were trying to make plans to see each other but she was about to go on vacation with her family and it's cringey as hell but we were already like genuinely saying we were gonna miss each other. My first blind date blossomed into my first long term loving relationships. It's over now and we don't speak. I miss it once in a while and it took me a long time to be okay with the idea of it being fully over but I think our lives were on different paths. I think I would have held her back if we had found a way to stay together.
For the getting lost in NY one, when Charlotte mentioned him using a physical map, I got the mental image of Joey stepping into his map on the first London episode of Friends 🤣🤣🤣
This is not about the video really, but just want to let you know. This month I turn 60 years old. And started watching you about a year ago. I have gone back and watched the olf videos you made. And seeing them now. Let me tell ya girl. I LOVE having watched you grow to who you are today. It is awesome. Everything about you that is shown on the videos has grown in such an awesome way. Keep trying different things. I love seeing the diversity of subjects you comment on. Keep up the awesome work and know that at least I think you are awesome. Love you bunches. Just call me Momma B . lmao
Happy Belated birthday Momma B! I also started watching Charlotte a year ago, her content is fantastic and always gives me a laugh. I hope you had a fantastic big 60!
Once I asked a really cute girl out, (I’m a girl) but an old boyfriend from high school ran into us at the beginning of the date. He knew it was a date, but he wasn’t getting the hint to leave and he ended up crashing our entire date. It’s been about 15 years and I’m still salty about that, I’d had a crush on that girl for ages!
im dead the story that finished at 10:41 - he knew both of them and since their names are both asexual he tricked them into thinking they were both going on a date with a chick hilarious
That last guys review really didn't sound like he was saying the girls were trying to trick him into a free meal. Even Charlotte didn't catch that vibe when first reading.
yeah no it sounded more like the guy was disappointed he couldnt get to know her better, since she was probably more invested with her friends than him. like it came off as a regular "hang out" rather than a date. probably hard to have a chat with 3 people at once.
Musical Anhedonia is a real thing that some of us have. We feel the same way about you liking music as you feel about us liking music. It effects 5% of the world population. If you have 20 friends 1 of them does not get music at all. If you don't have that one friend then they don't trust you enough to tell you the truth; they are lying you. Also never tell a serial killer you think they are a serial killer
As someone whose Jewish, as soon as the girl said that she was confused why he wasn't using google maps... I was like oh noooo I bet this is one of the people who don't use technology
I work in finance sales and I once had to send this guy an email since he wanted a receipt for doing business with us and said he doesn't deal with emails since its too high tech. This guy was 26 years old and it was 2 years ago.
The single mom expecting him to pay. Yeah he was late, but that doesn't mean he needs to pay for her kids. At that point I would have gotten up, gone to the front, paid for the 2 meals and dipped out. Then when the food comes out, it'll be her that is only left to have to pay
I’m sorry y’all are dealing with this 😭😭😭 I just designed my dream future home (in Minecraft) and my husband excitedly approved the design that we can use ten years from now when we’ve saved up enough together, y’all deserve partners that love you and are excited for a future with you!!
Minecraft to build a dream home. Thats a new one, I would've thought The Sims would be better (which started off as a professional architecture tool BTW!) but hey... whatever floats your goat. I've been playing Minecraft this morning too. XD
You're a lawyer As someone who has worked in the legal field, I am unsurprised that a lawyer is lost in technology. Even if he's younger, the legal field has a large divide between lawyers who don't know how to use technology beyond extremely basic things (yes even maps can be too hard for these people) and the support stuff who are often tech capable, if not tech savy and in large firms, straight up IT specialists
7:31 in this case, her waiting an hour and a half for the date and then demanding that he pay for her kids food sounds like it was premeditated. Like she's the kind of person who's looking for an excuse to be angry and get freebies. Also, I get maybe she just really wanted to get out and go on a date, but an hour and a half? If you were concerned about your kid for real you would have just left.
She waited an hour and a half because she was already going to peg him for extra food for her kids. That is why she waited. No other reason why she would wait that long. He was probably hoping she wouldn't show - dodging a bulltet. Both of them.
I’m so glad you did this video because I’m single by choice and it seems to offend people who are in relationships and not secure with their partners. There’s been a few sad attempts to introduce me to people and set me up but I don’t want to date anyone. I’ve always been a loner and never plan to marry so it’s a huge waste of time to date when other people have different expectations. FYI dates are not obligated to pay for anyone else’s meal, not the friends or the children not even the date if they’re going over board or acting entitled.
@@tdelioncourt1268 and the amount of people who interpret that as “giving up on love” is ridiculous because I get plenty of love from family friends and myself, having an intimate relationship is not the only love that exists
We had a "in case I die" full details on the person, location etc to the group text and then "okay no true crime here" when you got home. Lol I get wanting a spotter on site but damn not the whole time.
The ENTIRE blind date story I knew Ashley didn't behave like a woman not trying to be murdered. Door unlocked with the house pitch black.... that's someone that feels safe with an incoming stranger!
Honestly, HE sounded sus as fuck! Like, what woman in their right mind in this day and age would ever even entertain the idea of crawling into a strangers home like that?! Men are so out of touch with reality it's insane.
Charlotte's videos where she reacts to folks with date stories always come around when I am thinking "maybe I should try and date again", which in turn gives me my answer..." Nope!" Lol. I am sure the world is being saved from enduring my craziness (kidding, or am I?) Have a great day all!
10:52 lol right! no-one wants to be set up without a proper talk or unless they want to lol I hadn't spoken to an old friend for years and just wanted to catch up and immediately she tried to set me up with someone before we could even catch up! I mean maybe I would have been open to it if I actually caught up with her properly but since I didn't know her for years it just seemed way too fast!
I planned a date with my Orkin man. 😂 He was cute and flirty and got rid of my apartment complex's mouse problem, so I figured, why not? The plan was for him to pick me up at my place (since he already knew exactly where I lived). He was 3.5 hours late because of "traffic." If it weren't for the fact that I was just waiting at home anyhow, I would have cancelled after an hour. Well, I should have. First, he was too tired to drive and asked if we could take my car. Fine. Apparently, I was his "first black girl" and he kept asking me incredibly inappropriate sexual questions that all started with, "Is it true that black girls..." While we were at dinner, he suddenly stated (without any provocation) that he was actually late because he decided to have beers with his roommates before heading out for our date. I had to work the next morning and he knew that, by the way. When we got back to my place, he asked to come in to use the restroom before driving home. Sure. He kept saying that he was shocked by how immaculately clean my apartment was but wouldn't explain why. Maybe he thought black girls were all dirty. Who knows? Then, this fool basically attacked me by shoving his tongue down my throat. I was beyond done. I got him out of my place right after he declared, "The next time I come, I'm STAYING here." That is only a taste of what happened. It was awful. He tried to get me to go out again. I told him we were at different places in life and stopped answering his calls and texts. That was my roundabout way of saying that any woman who waits more than an hour for a late date is being kind of dumb. You don't get to decide that a guy owes you something because YOU were dumb enough to wait so long. You especially shouldn't expect him to have any respect for you. If he does, cool, but don't assume anything.
My husband was an hour and a half late to our 1st date; that was before cell phones and gps. He had left my #and directions at home as he was confident he could find it. (The man constantly gets lost! 🤣) The second guy is under ZERO responsibility to pay for ANYTHING for her kids. Her feeling entitled to that is a huge red flag and I hope that man ran.
A friend's dating routine is to send 3 people the date's name, their pic, and where she's meeting them at what time. Then an "I'm home" text. Actually bringing friends to the date or having them 'drop in' is weird, but then again so is having to worry about being abducted on a date 🤷
I was just about to comment this. Also there's an app that can track your phone and you set whoever as the admin. There's no need for friends to be there.
GPS is my latest favorite invention! It also takes me different directions due to traffic, and I see parts of the large city I have live in for 27 years that I haven't seen before. 👍
8:00 Sounds like she was going to have him pay for her child’s dinner either way. Ma’am what was your child going to eat for dinner in the first place? Does he need two dinners? If the waitress would have added it to my check when she clearly hears me saying no, MANAGER! I mean he has video proof of it. Lastly she is the one who waited that long. Why is that his fault you waited?
Being a child born in the 70's and then a kid/teen in the 80's, I am in between reading a paper map but also using Google if needed. Like you said....it isn't that difficult to look it up on the Google. Blind date story....first to get it out of the way, there wasn't online dating let alone the internet yet. So it was phone, like landline (because cell phones came in a bag at the time, expensive and so heavy you could take out a person) dating. One guy I went out with one time and one time only drives up in a pick up lifted like a monster truck....I was wearing a skirt. We went to a movie then out to eat where he told me how he likes his women, like women are an item on a menu. I finally went the half normal route and met people in public places. My best friend started going on blind dates after her divorce from her narcissistic ex husband and I told her text me so I know you didn't get kidnapped or worse. The first couple guys she went out were just kind of blah. The last blind date she went on, met a wonderful guy, they have been together for about 8 years now, they are engaged and the check in with me the day she met him was pretty good. She called and told me that the place they were meeting at was super busy so if he tried anything she had a lot of witnesses....🤣😂🤣😂
@@lisaleone2296 exactly. It makes you wonder about some people, like how has that guy gone anywhere his entire life without checking on how to get there.
Even though he was late, it doesn't mean he pays for 'her' kids food! He should have gotten up, paid out the bill, and left. She's just checking to see if she can get her way with him. If he says yes, then she can manipulate him for more stuff.
Found the extrovert! lol.
Depends, sometimes shy people hate that, like I dont know you and wont want to talk to new people right away.
I think as long as it's kept as a small get together. Maybe a game night or small dinner. It would give everyone a chance to talk without all the pressure of a ton or people or it being a date. Then you should also be there so even if they don't vibe with each other it's still you and your friends hanging out. Like you said, a win win.
@@rra7490shoot, the shy ones can come and play. The extroverts know how to initiate lol
Was it stated in the video that he didn't contact her to tell her he would be late? I didn't catch that
@@phaedrapage4217I’m wondering in this day and age why she didn’t phone her date asking if he was on his way.
5 minutes late max.
you are 100 per right . don't matter if he is late . she can call him to find out . or just go home . cancel the date .
She waited that long for the free food. He shouldn't have been late, but he has no obligation to take care of her children, no matter how mad she is.
Thats exactly why she waited😂
She has the right to be mad, however, he does not have to take care of somebody else’s kids. That is her responsibility as the mother, and frankly, it has nothing to do with the fact that he was late.
No she doesn't. If he's late, go home and don't talk to him again
Let's not forget that there is also a dad that is responsible for their kids.
He has a prank channel. I'm pretty sure that was straight cap.
She waited that long because she wanted free food she would of waited all night to feed her kids.
I get the feeling that this isn't the first time she has done this.
🇬🇧👍
Not sure why either of them are still sitting at the table.
No matter which side I was on, I'd have already walked away.
Who waits that long for a first date. She was clearly hungry because I would have left
Same thing I said.
No, being late to a date doesn’t mean you have to pay for someone’s kids’ food. 💁🏾♀️ That’s insane.
If someone waits an hour and a half for a late date it's because they ordered several drinks and maybe an appetizer and have ZERO dollars to pay for what they've already ordered.
@@deirdrestatham5730exactly
As someone who has met many kinds of questionable people, I felted she just waited that long to guilt trip him into buying food for her children. When someone invites you to dinner they want to pay for YOU and nobody else. Also, waiting one hour and a half for someone on a blind date? I dunno, Most people I know leave after 15 - 20 minutes. It all just feels suspicious to me.
Or pay the extra babysitting charges
Yeah, they just both suck.
So maybe it's a match after all!
True
I'm going to reverse it unless you are actually talking to me tell me you so sorry I'm late I'm gone after half-hour to 45 minutes and there's no way I'd expect my date to pay for food for my kids even if I wait 90 minutes for you
Why else would you bring your children to a date?
It felt like her intention the entire time and why she waited was just to get food for her kids that she didn't have to pay for
Being late and having him pay for the kids meal is bs. And she’s a big red flag that needs to be avoided.
you are 100 right . she just cant demand her children to eat for free .
If finding a restaurant gets him to toddler stage, imagine facing a truly serious situation together.
@@Just1Nora yup, my hubby does this. I call it a hit and run attack. The walk away is so cowardly.

Five minutes. Any longer is awkward.
Yeah, they could like come by and chat for a moment, then after a bit they should have been like "oh well you don't seem like a murder lol, we'll leave you to it!"
Nothing wrong with them checking up, keeps you safe and it's probably nice to have them meet your friends, since that'll probably tell you a lot depending on how OK they are about it, but them staying is weird
As soon as she demanded he pay for her kids food, he should have just payed for his own meal and leave 😅
Being that late for a date sucks - they could have just reschedule over the phone -but she wanted to get herself and her kid fed -that's why she waited 😅
She wanted her foody-call. I would wager that she would have tried to get food for her kids even if he was on time
Exactly a date lasts longer then an hour and a half too if ur lucky and vibing. I think she said she’s full here that’s why he has to pay 😂. Girl must date for dinner haha
Yup! The second time she said it, when she refused his no, he should have gotten the check for his and hers, paid it and left

Anyone else offered and I said no.
wow. i am so sorry that happened to you. at the very least sounds like she need meds and therapy if not jail. glad you dodged her.
Oh God 😮
I feel like I’m the wife that set you up and we are so sorry😩😩
sorry u went thru that but i hope u dont give up on finding true love, some people are just crazy out there, u just have to dodge a couple bullets and the wait till be worth it :) best of luck in the future lolol
What are the fleeping chances though!?! 😂😂
She should have texted the cousin to come to the restaurant and stand right behind her husband and film his reaction 😂
The Kelsey - Ashley story made me laugh so hard! 😂 Dude, I suspected that would happen!
that friend knew EXACTLY what they were doing 🤣🤣
I thought that it would be the wrong house, but this is better.
Yeah, I saw it coming the moment he said his name was Kelsey and the date's name was Ashley.
I feel like they had it coming, they clearly don't understand that a woman would never feel safe enough to do this, wtf
Yo, Thank you for gifting us with several of the most , iconic, all time songs. The memories jamming to your records are a beautiful childhood / teenage memory.
Let’s be honest, that trifling single mom was ordering those 2 extra meals for HERSELF
One for her kid and one for her dude that's at th crib waiting on th chick to come home..
Either way, mandem needs to RUN LIKE HELL!
You gave 2 reasons why people would be single at an older age, but here is a third boat that I am in: I never had any interest in dating and relationships whatsoever, and there is nothing wrong with that!
Same!!
Same
Same boat! Happier single, most people don't understand that. :D
As long as you don't call yourself an incel and join groups who hate women
I love SO much that you keep referencing clips from The IT Crowd. I LOVE that show!
Except she gave him the wrong address
@@fndmntl5341 oh boohoo, you know what i do when i get called to a place i haven't been yet? i'm putting it into google for directions (and also to check ratings and pricing tbh) and if there is a discrepancy i'll check back with the other person if that's the spot. it's not like she gave him a wrong address intentionally, it's an honest mistake. but that escalation was absolutely uncalled, highly immature, and could easily have been avoided if he accepted that he does indeed live in the 21st century.
I always google locations
@@fndmntl5341 Peole give wrong addresses all the time. that's why I always check.
I will never use doordash again.
😂😂😂If you walk into a house to someone bucknaked on a first date, you deserve what you get. Your friend is hilarious. 😂😂
Facts!
He might've thought it would be hilarious to set up his 2 male friends with feminine sounding name
When I saw Kelsey and Ashley I knew what was coming. I clocked it as soon as he said 'don't want to see it, let it be a surprise', I was cackling.
I would be so annoyed but then immediately laugh my ass off and plot to get back at the friend.
"Pimping out to eachother" HAHAHA, so true
Never heard of a gift on a date. What a weird girl.
Oooo that girl is definitely a member of Female Dating Strategy. That smacks of the entitlement of that femcel sub.
Buy her a gift? I may have been out of the loop for many years but buying a first date a gift has never ever been a thing. It's blatantly obvious why she is single, and why she always will be!
No not a jerk
It's a first date not friend or anniversary dude .
Lol.
I feel you. I'm 6ft and short guys would decline when I asked them out. Talking about "a man's gotta be a man". 🙄
This makes me so happy I never did any blind dates. 😂 I watch way too much true crime so I could never agree to one. But these make me glad I never took that chance bro. Haha
5:29 it's the nosy waiter absolutely losing it for me
I was looking for someone else to notice - not the waitress going to get her the steak 🤣🤣
Yeah I bet she got Fired too 😂
Yup. She would have to pay me a tip for that.
Is it really considered nosey when the waiter has no idea what there supposed to do. The girl is saying to go but the guy is saying to stay, of course there going to stay around since they don't know how many checks or who's paying for what yet since the two keep fighting over it
She waited an hour and a half so she could get dinner for herself and her kid. That was clearly her plan the entire time.
You almost make it sound like she made him run late. Maybe she placed obstacles on his way there 🧐
@@kimkiller462or she could have just left instead of waiting for a meal ticket
Yep…Extra Steak were for Baby Daddy, who’s back home w/ the rest of Her kids..😂
Charlotte this video was even better than the last one! Love the little in between pop ups and characters! Hilarious! This is how I am dealing with life from now on: realizing we are all going insane (some more quickly than others) as I predicted in the late 1990s with the information revolution and that I needed to NOT take anyone serious anymore
If the date paid for all 3 ladies then it's absolutely perceived as a scam. Also, she ASKED her friends to join them so it looks absolutely sus.
And are her friends ninjas? What could they have done in the situation that the lady couldn’t have done? And what if she put her friends at risk?
Look I’m sorry if I’m showing ignorance. I’ve been thankful to not have been in her situation.
Yeah, I've heard of a couple of stories on the interwebz about that exact thing happening.
I worked with Kate in college. She's hilarious and, yes, I got to hear a lot of these date stories.
3:52 dude confused his latitude with his longitude lmfao 🤣
Exactly
Being single is cool, being in relationship is cool... If you want it.
So be free wild and happy 🖤
I got married to my blind date. Just celebrated our 19th anniversary. ❤
Love you Charlotte. Watch your videos everyday. From South Africa. 🇿🇦
More details about this date, please!
😂 that blonde girl should b a sidekick in a comedy series
Charlotte, she only stayed and ordered the food because he’s Scrappy. He’s a famous rapper. If it was a regular guy, she would have left and blocked him. She’s trying to use him for his money and status. What woman in their right mind would stay for an hour and a half for anyone but a rapper? She would and try to get her kids fed. That worker should be fired. She needs to mind her business and do what this man says he will do with his money.
Legit thought he got that name because he was 'crappy', no because he was some rapper 😭😭 and yeah, she is absolutely taking advantage of him.
Why does it look like they’re eating at Denny’s then?
That’s not scrappy lol. The lady is like Bambi and the guy is like Scrappy.
The guy in the second video honestly was being so patient. If your date is late for whatever reason demanding that they pay for you and your kids who he hasn't met is straight up delulu. She should have just left tbh.
I would've left after about 20mins if I didn't get any warning beforehand
I love listening to you while I'm at work... thank u for keeping me company on my loneliest of nights at work
He should NOT pay for her kids… PERIOD!!! Waitress should stay out of it…
She shouldn’t of waited hour and half! That’s on her!!!
She clearly waited for the food she can suck it up
11:30 i actually wrote a college level paper about how music is good for us and makes us happy. music triggers the release of dopamine so music makes us happy which is why there is so much “hype” about music
I would love to read your article/paper.
So I directly asked him why he wasn’t answering (like not even just giving the field) but he ended up deflecting and when he found out I’m doing my PhD he had an entire emotional meltdown saying I’m just “in it for money” /after a relationship for money and that I’d, this is literally a quote, “judge him just like his dad for dropping out of university” I was like ummmm university isn’t for everyone and then ended the conversation and blocked him
EDIT: I did find out that he was fully trained in a Trade and owned his own business which made this conversation even more off handed
Talk about insecure
He's plenty busy judging himself. Hopefully he'll figure it out eventually.
@@BrianAndresScott right?
Absolutely not, he should not pay for the kids food. And her suggesting that would have me paying for my food only and leaving.
This was our “first date.”
Right when the movie started I said I had to use the bathroom.
I left. The funny part is I had picked him up so he needed to call someone to get home.
Blocked his number.
So gross.
Petty win
"I don't use maps, I'm from the 90s".
WHAT 90S!?
All the 90s for the last 2000 _years_ have had maps.
On Kelsey/Ashley, the friend that set it up is gonna have a LOT of explaining to do.
And, yeah. It wasn’t a banana he was holding.
LOL...friend knew exactly what they were doing.....both k and a need to pay the friend back by messing with them ,,,,oh we discovered we both like bananas ...silly little texts to the friend ...lol
I am still mad at him about it 😂😂

It was an eggplant 🍆
I had a friend drive a whole hour to go on a date with me in case the guy was a serial killer. 16 years later, that guy and I are still together and have a kid. It probably did help that we hung out with some of his friends too. Safety in numbers though.
That's the whole point of sports! 🤣🤣 So true. I wore a Real Madrid jersey around Barcelona, had to keep my head on a swivel!
What the actual f**ck 😭
Why????
I see no reason for them to do that, that’s super weird.
Did they think that talking in French would be like something hot? Was it a dare?
Bro I’m so confused 💀
@@Jo-er6tw I know! It was super weird. The worst part is that since the region of Canada I was in had a lot of people who spoke French as a first or only language. I never questioned it. Lol
@@alyssakennedy8894 In an alternate universe:
A guy was out and some random girl and her friend approached him and this girl did most of the talking and got his number for her friend.
WTF
PS: Never raise your voice over such small things. Not worth your stress or causing someone else stress. Explain your situation instead.
I still do this 😂😂 but i also screenshot places nearby like starbucks as backup
Yeah he did ask her and she wasn’t able to give him accurate instructions even with maps! Sounds like they were a perfect match 😂
It’s the raising your voice that is a huge red flag. Getting lost together and working it out is already breaking the
Ice.
Patrick going: “TECHNOLOGY” sends me EVERY TIME!!
Wow, that first guy is a real piece of work! 😡
That Ashley Kelsey story was hilarious!
Thank you Vanessa for putting Pedrito Pascal at 5:07 when Charlotte talks about having high standards. I do love Pedrito ❤

Oh I would bet big money that he thought he was going to get a threesome out of. Boys can be so gross!
If she liked u it would have happened. It wasn’t his fault
im dead the story that finished at 10:41 - he knew both of them and since their names are both asexual he tricked them into thinking they were both going on a date with a chick hilarious
Sounds more like he thought she brought a party. Very awkward.
Right. I have a feeling the comments on the guy's review are where that came from
Musical Anhedonia is a real thing that some of us have.
😂😂
When I tell people this, they look at me like I have horns growing out the top of my head.
15 minutes is all anyone ever got from me - unless they call and have a damn good reason! Love your vids.
Scrappy and Bambi! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That took me out!
😂😂😂
There's no better way to start a day than with a coffee and a fresh out the oven petty video from the petty queen herself ❤
Agreed!
The best way to end a day in my timezone 😊
Last story: No. You lost any right to call that “his truth” when you invited your friends to sit with you.
Lmao right? 😂 he just stated exactly what happened.
So he's texting and calling but he draws the line at navigation? 😂
The single mom expecting him to pay. Yeah he was late, but that doesn't mean he needs to pay for her kids. At that point I would have gotten up, gone to the front, paid for the 2 meals and dipped out. Then when the food comes out, it'll be her that is only left to have to pay
“It was a trap! IT WAS AN ACTUAL TRAP!” Lol😂
XD
@@wolfvontyr2266 lol!!! If I ever buy the sim’s I’ll definitely build it again there too. It’s a very abnormal Tudor home 👀👀👀 thank you!!
That’s so awesome!!! 🎉
You're a lawyer
As someone who has worked in the legal field, I am unsurprised that a lawyer is lost in technology.
I love listening to you rant. You crack me up, and I feel like I'm hanging out with my bestie. Life sucks right now, and you make me feel less alone.
She waited an hour and a half because she was already going to peg him for extra food for her kids. That is why she waited. No other reason why she would wait that long. He was probably hoping she wouldn't show - dodging a bulltet. Both of them.
Exactly!! And that waitress was putting in extra orders like she deserved the food. I’m curious how it ended
Omg im dying the fact that you used the wrong joker with the 'we are a society' line slays me to my core. 😊 Thankfully I have a strong pelvic floor 🙏
FYI dates are not obligated to pay for anyone else’s meal, not the friends or the children not even the date if they’re going over board or acting entitled.
right the amount of people who want to "fix" that, like nope I'm vibing, I'm good, didn't ask for "help"
@@tdelioncourt1268 and the amount of people who interpret that as “giving up on love” is ridiculous because I get plenty of love from family friends and myself, having an intimate relationship is not the only love that exists
The Kelsey/Ashley mix up story is absolutely hilarious XD
We had a "in case I die" full details on the person, location etc to the group text and then "okay no true crime here" when you got home. Lol I get wanting a spotter on site but damn not the whole time.
The ENTIRE blind date story I knew Ashley didn't behave like a woman not trying to be murdered. Door unlocked with the house pitch black.... that's someone that feels safe with an incoming stranger!
Story does not make sense
Honestly, HE sounded sus as fuck! Like, what woman in their right mind in this day and age would ever even entertain the idea of crawling into a strangers home like that?! Men are so out of touch with reality it's insane.
Charlotte's videos where she reacts to folks with date stories always come around when I am thinking "maybe I should try and date again", which in turn gives me my answer..." Nope!" Lol. I am sure the world is being saved from enduring my craziness (kidding, or am I?) Have a great day all!
Exactly how I feel.
The girl who brought her friends seems really lovely and can laugh at herself. I hope she finds someone great.
All the ladies in this video are a delight. Hope too see more stories from them.
Honestly, I think this should be normalized - Bring a friend or a sibling, go in public, make it a group setting for the first date. Safety, ppl.
Even if you don't use Maps or carry a phone, you should look the place up before you head there and get directions. That's just common sense.
@@lisaleone2296 exactly. It makes you wonder about some people, like how has that guy gone anywhere his entire life without checking on how to get there.
@39aeb Probably hasn't had to look stuff up himself in a while, that's what PAs/Interns are for.
Bizarre this happened in NY, where the streets are literally numbered for your convenience.
Even though he was late, it doesn't mean he pays for 'her' kids food! He should have gotten up, paid out the bill, and left. She's just checking to see if she can get her way with him. If he says yes, then she can manipulate him for more stuff.
That’s what I thought. She’s trying it to see if he can be her next victim to use.
You always make it a better day, Potato Queen!
Petty queen ❤
