Wow, amazing yacht. Love the interior. Imagine being this rich and inviting your friends and family onboard for a two week vacation in this thing. Its like a floating high end hotel.
That's a Sweet floating Mansion! Well done to the owners for their choices, the builders for making it so useable, and the Crew for keeping it Absolutely mint.
Love your style. Not shy of showing us the occupied areas of the vessel. Realistic videos are way better for perspective buyers than those expensive unrealistic promos we so often see.
Tony, like you t'm totally impressed with this Mengi Yay yacht -- inside and out. Everything was amazing and well thought out. Thank you so much for the tour of this beautiful yacht.
Hey Tony I like them Mengi Yay , remember curfew II so well built and the use of spaces ...but it was not a Tri-deck. but this one in the other hand is the best so far
Curfew II is one of my favorite yachts out there! I will hopefully be able to explore some more Mengi Yay models when they get delivered in the future. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for a thorough tour of what seems like a high-quality yacht. Many high-end finishes there for sure. Draft may be a bit deep for the Bahamas but everywhere is no problem. Main salon seems like a great gathering spot, with sensible furniture that is not so low it is awkward to get in and out of, especially when it is so trendy there are no arms. Always hard to know how smaller yards away from the Scandinavian and German areas measure up in terms of systems installation, quality of materials and quality of interior finishes, but Mengi Yay looks pretty good.
Alright Tony oh my oh my what a stunning yacht it's fantastic thanks so much for bringing us this tour great find sir, Tony as for favourite area on a yacht as most I like a good sundeck/fly bridge who doesn't but i also like to see all outside areas, lets face it these yachts are mainly use in warmer clims so nice to see all areas available to use,but a close second are the crew working areas cabins etc and areas for water toys/tender,but for one specific thing on a yacht I do love a master cabin balcony Mmm I just imagine that's me sat out there drinking my morning coffee bliss, anyway Tony as ever all the best from Cornwall 🤗✌️👍
I have a question that’s one big boat. All I own is a canoe. I noticed lot of day heads. What if you have to pinch a loaf at night is there a night head?😅
The assumption is you’d be in either the owners suite or a guest cabin at night. So each room has its own ensuite. 😂 but you can call them whatever you want when it’s your yacht!
I’ve seen blueprints where you can opt for an elevator in the middle of the spiral staircase. That would be a custom option during the build process so it all comes down to owners preference.
You’re correct that it isn’t the most accessible. But the good news is that there are many yachts built with accessibility in mind. There are endless custom options you can include including extra wide passerelles and elevators so even if someone is wheelchair bound they can get on, off, and around.
Hi Tony. I‘m a bit „irritated“ about some of the predicates you‘ve used to ascribe your experience you‘ve had on this vessel. I think it‘s more clever to write it as a nerdy question (towards the farly more experienced) yacht enthusiast, rather than a criticism. If you’re one of those guys who can afford a „fresh-outta-factory“-Super Yacht (in contrast to me - what a shame ;)), it is probably a notable price gap between a „sub-500-GT“-format at a length of 47m from Mengi-Yay and a „sub-500-GT“-format at a length of 50m from Heesen. Very probably, the chosen shipyard means the more important price factor. But when you ennoble this Mengi Yay (at the beginning of your great(!) tour) with terms like „they [Mengi Yay] build some incredible high-quality customyachts“, „it‘s an extremely high-quality vessel“, „it‘s gorgeous inside and out“ or „ultimate luxury“, it actually leads to the conclusion, that those ordering a new 50m-Heesen (or Feadship…) to be quite silly (in terms value for money). Would love to hear your expertise to this thought; and yes, I can be nerdy too from time to time. Greetings from Germany!
So prices aren’t always openly disclosed, but I’d estimate a yacht like this to be $30-40 million brand new. I’d actually estimate a Heesen of the same size to be similarly priced. Shipyards certainly have their reputations and pedigrees that hold a lot of weight. While Mengi Yay isn’t a German or Dutch “pedigree” builder, they have been building yachts for 60 years and they build to a high standard as well. At this size, I think it’s fair to directly compare them. I don’t have direct knowledge about costs and reliability over the long run as these aren’t always openly discussed either. But I think someone who is purchasing in this size category can utilize a team of experts to help make their decision. If I was purchasing something much larger (200’ or larger) then maybe the reputation of Lurssen or Feadship may be preferred just for peace of mind as they are builders with many successful examples in that size category.
Firstly, I‘d like to say a big „Thank you!“ for taking the trouble to answer, and moreover for replying that way elaborated. Surely not every content-creator would do this!! I think your thoughts are quite convincing, especially regarding to the second paragraph of your answer. Additionally, I think I‘d like to share some information, that I read recently, however (definitely not for self-opinionatedness-purposes, but just for sharing!!). I think I remember Heesen‘s project Jade‘s last asking price (just months ago) to be 41.5 million euros. Then we were already talking about roughly 45 million dollars (almost surely: ex tax). I think reputation very often combines a mix of truthful capabilities and brand name/framing. The „long-time-effecting“ engineering quality of Feadships for instance is, what I‘ve read, probably sort of outstanding. Now dreaming off, back to reality! ;) Again Greetings from Germany.
Welcome to the modern era. Where the decadent rich are so grotesquely abundant as to have a floating hotel away from home. The 1% Meanwhile, the 99% are drowning beneath the waves of your wake. Expect us.
You said "Turkish" and "High Quality" in the same sentence....... You might want to revisit that statement. Go and look at a Lürssen , Amels, Heesen, Oceanco etc. You should have said "Cheaper tax free labour, lower safety standards and Turkish"
Obviously Lurssens, Amels, and Heesen are known for their high quality pedigree. But that doesn’t mean other yacht builders aren’t building to a high quality. Mengi Yay has been building yachts for 60 years. This yacht is also RINA certified.

No secret..I've said many times that this I one of my favorite yacht companies. They do exquisite work every time.
I’ve only toured two Mengi Yay yachts. This one and Curfew II which was posted last year. I loved both of them. Big fan of Mengi Yay!
I never heard of this shipyard before, but the yacht looks beautiful.

Perhaps they expect the disabled to use a bosun's chair.

They make them more and more elegant and beautiful BUT they don't think about the disabled, there is no access or elevator 😮

Great review, thanks.
The name of this yacht sounds like an unfortunate medical condition that is stronger than penicillin.
Glad you liked it! Ancora is Latin for Anchor
Одлично🍀☦️
Yachts like this are the reason they sell so many Powerball lottery tickets.
We can all dream together
40 Centimeter? 😅
