The 82nd should have been more agressive at the start, we had american airpower. So hard to communicate with only text. I agree that the raven will be more usefull if people had coms or mics to coordinate the airstrike
At 31:00, on not being able to finish the game. To be fair, you have a lot of points invested in defending the left hand side doing nothing. All game that could have been held by a metis, a couple of igla and one infantry. This is the sort of trade off thats going to be really important in this mode. Overcommitting to defence of a zone rather than having a tripwire force than can be reenforced is a costly choice in C&C. The weight of units in the left had zone would have made a huge difference in mid. It does mean the relative importance of a reserve helo mounted QRF goes up.
Love the new showcase Vulcan. I just wanted to add some tips on the pronunciation of the new Giatsint artillery, if that's ok. Ghee (like the clarified butter) ja (as in jawohl in German) tsint (is just as you pronounced it in the video) Hope this helps.
Does anyone else have the issue of infantry standing still and just REFUSING to move even one militmeter when engaged in a firefight? They're not stunned.
It depends on the order you give them, if you have them set to defensive, they'll hold position and engage them, if you set them to move, then they'll move.
Make sure you dont have them on the hunt order(indicated by the bright orange arrow) that means they will stop and engage when target is within range on the way to the set destination. If you want your unit to engage while moving make sure you give them the move order(indicated by the bright blue arrow) which means they will simply move to the set destination and if there are enemies withing range along the way they will engage them but wont stop when doing so
@@removed7331 I meant giving them a move order and them refusing to move. As Manuel pointed out it's because they're being given the hunt order and not the move order.
did they remove all M48s from the game this update? I read the patchnotes and saw some M48s were removed but I don't know if thats just a part of a single div or they've just been removed from the game entirely now.
literally just completed NATO Army General after watching your campaign. Picked up some really helpful tips so thank you! Cant bring myself to play as the "reds"....just yet
They're already gone, relegated to the dust bin, unfortunately their grosser younger brothers are in control of Russian commerce and government (hence the frequency of suicide via window) but we can leave politics out this once.
Wow they finally made the EF-111 Raven work like it's supposed to. It only took 10 years! But still, a very nice development, although 20% feels a bit weak without offensive capabilities.
The Raven itself has 60% ECM. It adds an *additional* 20% ECM to all other friendly fixed-wing aircraft within its range of influence, which is quite strong.
i love how the "giasints" have not performed to your liking, when you fired them 2 ? maybe 3 times? no kidding Vulcan, i wonder why they never got the kills :D
@@VulcanHDGamingi would argue that they more about those corrected shots than sheer damage. I havent played with them yet myself, so i guess we can leave it at "more testing needed" : )
I agree. I really wish artillery at the Battalion level (anything greater than mortars) was handled like aircraft - offmap, with a cooldown. Having to "call for strikes", taking the delay into account would be a minigame in itself. Think about how cool it could be: you still buy arty, which is then added to your "artillery support panel" (just like the air panel). When you select the guns you want a ring appears showing the dispersion. You select your target and a countdown begins. They could even add "spotting rounds" dropping closer to the target during the countdown, or TRPs you can place in deployment to decrease delay and add strategy.
@@LazzieMazzie since when did battles in Warno feature actual historical numbers of inventory? People played WGRD and had ton of fun especially in the dynamic campaign. The logic you're giving is faulty.
@@sztypettto do you want to spend 25 minutes just naval combat and it being boring and always win as nato vessels were always superior to soviet vessels
Navy was the least liked part of WGRD, even if some people do enjoy it. As for other factions -- I really hope so! I'd like to see some lesser used countries like Iran which historically had a great selection of Domestic, NATO, and PACT weaponry. Also the nordic countries were always fun to play in wargame with their unique selections of tanks and infantry weapons. I'd like to see them come back!
@confusedwhiteman7776 idk, I don't know why you would make a RTS with the same mechanics from the old Command and Conquer titles. Never really found it compelling or fun.

Really cool to see the new units in action, pity we couldn't see much of the new Mi-8's in this game but there's always the future :)

Interesting how they decided to implement EW. In reality, jamming is LESS effective the closer you are to the emitter.
is it just me or do the MI-8Ts looked really big in the start?
Probably just due to me having unit scaling on.
@@VulcanHDGaming I've always wondered why you keep unit scaling on, is it just for visual clarity?
